WH’s Afghanistan Talking Points Try to Dance Around Biden’s Previous Taliban Remarks

Biden on July 8: Not inevitable Taliban will take over Afghanistan. Biden on August 16: It was not an inevitability. It was a possibility.

The White House’s Afghanistan talking points are trash. It’s that simple: TRASH.

Remember July 8? All emphasis is mine:

Q Mr. President — do you trust the Taliban, Mr. President?

Q Is a Taliban takeover of Afghanistan now inevitable?

THE PRESIDENT: No, it is not.

Q Why?

THE PRESIDENT: Because you — the Afghan troops have 300,000 well-equipped — as well-equipped as any army in the world — and an air force against something like 75,000 Taliban. It is not inevitable.

Here are the White House talking points:

Did you look closely?

The White House repeats the sentiment on the next page.

Oh, here are some more answers from that Q&A on July 8.

President Joe Biden said: “The Taliban is not the south — the North Vietnamese army. They’re not — they’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability. There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of a embassy in the — of the United States from Afghanistan. It is not at all comparable.”

Biden continued: “So the question now is, where do they go from here? That — the jury is still out. But the likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.”

Also from Biden: “Relative to the training and capacity of the ANSF and the training of the federal police, they’re [Taliban] not even close in terms of their capacity.

I was making the point — the point was that here we were; I was — the argument is, “Well, we could stay because no one was dying. No Americans are being shot. So why leave?” Once the agreement was made by the last administration that we were going to leave by May 1st, it was very clear that a Taliban that had always been a problem was even a more sophisticated problem than they were than before. Not more sophisticated than the ANSF, the government. More than they were.

The point being that it would have increased the prospect that they would have been able to take more lives of Americans if they decided we weren’t going to go after them. That was the point I was making.”

They can “dance around” all they want using their word salad, but the fact remains they are supporting a sinking ship with a Captain that already has bailed.

This guy Biden* is such a fucking retard. I really cannot believe they installed such an obviously retarded moron as POTUS*

Calling Biden a retarded moron is an insult to retarded morons.

I think that at his prime he was probably dull normal. Today he is at moron or the lower Imbecile.

The term imbecile was once used by psychiatrists to denote a category of people with moderate to severe intellectual disability, as well as a type of criminal. The word arises from the Latin word imbecillus, meaning weak, or weak-minded.

    1. A person who is considered foolish or stupid.
    2. A person with moderate to severe intellectual disability having a mental age of from three to seven years and generally being capable of some degree of communication and performance of simple tasks under supervision. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.
[From obsolete French imbécille, weak, feeble, from Old French, from Latin imbēcillus : in-, not; see in-1 + possibly bacillum, staff, diminutive of baculum, rod; see bak- in Indo-European roots.]

This seems in line with Biden’s current performance. These pre woke intelligence classifications have a nice ring.

We will probably see Biden pass through the idiot stage.

Every time I see Joe Biden, I think of the architect of the National War on Crack… whose son was blazing up down the hall in his own house.

So I guess they’re going to blame this on the Afghan military and US Intelligence?

Slow Blank Joe is my new hero.

Can’t wait to see Branco’s cartoon. I’m betting it’s going to be another grand slam.
