Jeffery Epstein was being held without bail and facing sex trafficking charges in August, 2019. He was found dead in his cell, reportedly of suicide, and questions arose about how this could have happened with two guards a mere 15 feet away and required to check on him every 30 minutes.

The two guards in question, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, admitted that they did not check on Epstein and have reached a plea deal to avoid jail time.

Fox News reports:

Two corrections officers who were supposed to be guarding Jeffrey Epstein’s cell the night he died by suicide cut a deal with prosecutors Friday that will allow them to avoid time behind bars.

Under the deferred prosecution agreement, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas will admit that they falsified records and will be sentenced to 100 hours of community service, according to a letter written by federal prosecutors Friday.

Prosecutors said that the pair browsed the internet and slept at their desks just 15 feet from Epstein’s cell instead of making their scheduled rounds every half-hour.

Under the deal, Noel and Thomas “admitted that they ‘willfully and knowingly completed materially false count and round slips'” for the housing unit where they were assigned.

I guess the guards wanted to live. And so the coverup remains secure.

Hmm.

100 hours…..

Sure their payoff divided by that will come out to much more than $15 per hour!

LOL

Once again some very powerful people have assured themselves that some deep secrets remain secret.

And at a cheap price.

I’m sure they worked like hell to avoid jail time, not feeling in the least suicidal themselves.

You can be absolutely sure that even if they lost their jobs with the DOJ, that they will, in addition to whatever payoff they have received, be offered well paid employment with either another branch of the government or a regime-client industry. They have shown that they will do anything for the State, and stay silent. The only risk to them in the future will be if some administrator decides that they are loose ends that have to be silenced a’ la Epstein.

Slap on the wrist for two people who work one of the highest security federal prisons on the east coast and who BOTH just happened to be otherwise occupied at the SAME TIME for the critical 20 minute window when the HIGHEST PROFILE PRISONER in 3+ years happened to be killed. A prisoner who had dirt on dozens of the richest and post powerful people in the world – not to mention former heads of state and state intel agencies.

Just a simple coincidence. Nothing to see here folks. Go about your business.

So here the deal. No way that some one could have gotten to the Inmate on that shift.

They have no Cell door keys in the SHU on the Morning watch. The reason is it takes more than 3 people to open a cell door on that shift, If the keys were in the SHU the conspiracy would have to involve. At least 8 offices and supervisors.

Funny how these amazing coincidences seem to always benefit the Clintons and the Dems/Marxists.

I wonder if they get full benefits from Clinton Cleaners, LLC

A Corrections Officer at a Federal Prison on Morning Watch has only one job. Get off your fat A$$ and count Inmates 3 times. After that its to make range checks every 30 minutes.

That’s it. Nothing else. Around 6 more staff come in and feed the inmates. Then begins Rec 5 times a week and Showers 3 times a week.

Can’t do that go home.

Every profession has disgraces who should never have been hired. To be a bit blunt however Epstein was looking at life in a small box after a lifetime of being a great billionaire and hanging around the most powerful people on the planet while getting everything he wanted so he was going to kill himself no matter how careful the guards.

No whining here. Until we are collectively ready to put the blame on ALL this on William Barr (and Jeff Sessions), we have nothing to complain about.

But for the treason of Sessions and Barr, Trump would be president, biden would be in jail, obama would subject to indictment along with hillary clinton, and the middle east would not be at war, and the Russians would not be the major source of energy in Germany, the US woulld be energy independent, and China would not be running our nation.

But for two people: Sessions and Barr.

Absolutely bonkers, bouncing off those padded walls,
Completely crackers, looney tunes, buh-duh buh-duh buh-duh–that’s all.
The lights are on, nobody’s home, moronic vegetable,
Bet yer bottom dollar, you are crazy!

I haven’t a clue what article you just read, Bill Barr did not approve this plea deal and neither did Jeff Sessions so I have no idea how either of those men are relevant to this article, China and Russia are mentioned nowhere in it.

By the way are you an FBI agent trying to trick people into saying something extremely stupid? That is what calling Bill Barr and Jeff Sessions traitors makes you sound like to me.

What other name is there for the likes of Barr and Sessions, considering their obstruction of justice?
They sold our country out. They sold our future out. And they likely out in motion war on a scale we haven’t seen since WW2.

Again are you an FBI agent? I think you are there is no other explanation for your insane dribble.

By the way for anyone agreeing Jeff Sessions or Bill Barr are “traitors” here is what traitor means in this country

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

What you mean, “collective we?” Do you know any Trump supporters who think Sessions or Barr were great guys? I don’t. Apparently, the only one who did was Trump.

The deal they made was made long ago. The deal was they lie and say whatever they are told to say, whatever the consequences, and in return they will be taken care of.

It’s The Chicago Way.

Shocking! Low level government employees not doing their job and getting away with it. The only difference between these two yahoos and thousands of others is that they got caught (but, of course, not punished!)

This must be one of those great “union jobs” that Biden is always yammering on about.

wordofreason | May 23, 2021 at 12:46 pm

A deal was reached alright. They reached a deal when Epstein was still alive!

Another Voice | May 23, 2021 at 1:33 pm

How many more employees, existing or hired, will be allowed to be “Willful and knowingly to falsify documents, lie and misdirect an internal investigation and acknowledge how they spend their shift time sleeping and/or surfing the internet with no significant penalty?

As a federal employee with union and government employment protections (as are most all state employment unions) these type of employees do have as close to lifetime jobs security with full benefits not available to the 85% of employees in the private sector.

And this is where Biden wants to change that percentage to 51% with placing more people into unions working for companies endowed with those “billions” of “Covid 19” dollars, not being distributed now, but placed on future disbursements to companies receiving “government contracts” and the new and existing agencies which grow exponentially to accommodate those programs.

At what point do you have all your companies producing in the Chinese tax free zones and the US looking more like a country which exists only to support their government with employees living on the largesse of government either by employment or on welfare benefits?

Danny in reply to Another Voice. | May 23, 2021 at 1:47 pm

This isn’t something you could blame on the union, law enforcement unions have absolutely no influence over Democrats.

The blame for leniency here is very clearly with the prosecutors and more specifically with the administration they serve that approve of disapprove of their decisions and make it clear what decisions they want.

As corporate America becomes more and more Democrat maybe we could look to winning over Unions? Not all unions are the teachers union.

“As corporate America becomes more and more Democrat maybe we could look to winning over Unions? ”

Maybe?? You’re hanging too the far left of the Center line if you believe that unions which are operating in hand with any of the large company or corporation who favor democrats for kick back enhancement of government money whether it be bail outs, loans or favorability on awarding government contracts. Union members pay the big buck dues to fund the contribution lines that go in to political pockets for the benefit of favorability to their companies and their jobs.

Male and female employee both incapacitated at the same time, ‘sleeping.’ Sure.
