Israel Hits Suspected Iranian Military and Hezbollah Targets in Syria

As Biden admin rushes to seal nuke deal, Iran continue to use Syrian territory to hit Israel.

Israel carried out airstrikes on Iranian military and terrorist militia targets inside Syria, the Israeli media disclosed.

On Wednesday, the Israeli air force struck multiple targets near the Mediterranean port city of Latakia. The region is regarded as a stronghold of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the regime’s military wing, and a U.S.-designated terrorist group. The IRGC “was known to have warehouses in the area,” the Jewish News Syndicate reported, citing a UK-based Syrian watchdog.

The following day, Israeli helicopters hit Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist militia in southern Syria, the newspaper Israel Hayom reported on Thursday. “Arab media outlets reported that the target of the attack was a Hezbollah outpost near the Israeli border,” the daily said.

The Times of Israel reported the latest Israeli counter-terrorism strikes:

Israeli aircraft bombed targets in Syria after midnight on Thursday, Syrian state media reported, in what would be the second such strike in less than 24 hours

SANA reported that Israeli helicopters struck in the area of the Quneitra border town in the Syrian Golan Heights, claiming that no injuries or damages were incurred.

The IDF declined to comment on the reported strikes, in accordance with its policy to neither confirm nor deny most of its operations in Syria.

Early Wednesday, SANA reported that an Israeli aircraft carried out airstrikes in northern Syria that killed one person and wounded six others. It was the first alleged attack since raids last month that saw an errant Syrian anti-aircraft missile explode in the Negev desert.

Syrian air defenses engaged Israeli missiles near the port city of Latakia in northern Syria and Hama in the West in the Wednesday strike, according to SANA.

In the wake of the Syrian conflict, which began almost nine years ago, Iran has built up a significant military presence in Syria. As a result, Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad is holding on to power largely due to Iranian regulars and Iran-sponsored Hezbollah terrorist militia fighting on his behalf.

Hezbollah has since used Syrian territory to launch terrorist attacks at Israeli soldiers and civilians in northern Israel.

As Israel responds to Iran’s growing military and terrorist clout in Syria, President Joe Biden’s administration is appeasing the regime to restore the Obama-era nuclear deal.

The Biden White House is toying with the idea of “rollback in Iran sanctions to revive nuke deal,” the NBC News reported last week. Some of these sanctions, which may enable the regime to generate oil revenue and get access to the international financial system, are “tied to terrorism, missile development and human rights,” the broadcaster added.

The latest concession mulled by the Biden administration could be the single largest economic windfall for the Iranian regime since former President Donald Trump pulled the plug on the nuclear deal in May 2018.

According to the news reports, the Biden administration appears to be on the verge of re-entering the Iran nuclear deal. “A flurry of diplomatic contacts and reports of major progress suggest that indirect talks between the U.S. and Iran may be nearing an agreement,” the Associated Press noted on Tuesday.

President Biden’s restoration of the nuclear deal will boost the regime’s revenue stream and finance terrorism and military aggression against Israel and other U.S. allies in the region.

Good for Israel. Now the Israeli government needs to start bombarding and destroying essential infrastructures. Power, Water, Roads and the like. Should all be under the Israeli’s target. Bomb the arabs back into the stone-age where they won’t be able to threaten anyone ever again.

While I have no problem with bombing any of the belligerents, Iran should be first.

JD is right. But Iran WANTS war. The Mullahs know President Puppet and Vice President Slut are on tight leashes of Susan Rice and Anita Dunn. Those two pices of sh-t hate Israel, hate free people and know that Israel will run dry of munitions rather quickly in a war with Iran – and Israel relies heavily on armament from the former America.

Israel won’t be getting restocked under the Puppet/Slut administration.

Biden will sacrifice Israel like a pawn to appease Iran and China. It’s a good thing that Israel is prepared to go it alone to keep Iran from getting a nuke and testing it on Israel.

“As Biden admin rushes to seal nuke deal, Iran continue to use Syrian territory to hit Israel. ”

The headline is totally false! Iran is not continuing “to hit Israel”. This is a LIE!

When has Iran ever attacked Israel from Syrian territory? IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED.

The constant Israeli attacks on Syrian territory are completely UNPROVOKED. Iran and Hezbollah are in Syria at the invitation of the Syrian government FOR THE PURPOSE OF WIPING OUT ISIS AND AL QAEDA (remember ISIS and Al Qaeda? The bad guys?)

America’s “greatest ally” Israel – is in essence acting as ISIS’ air force. Notice in over 200 attacks on Syrian soil NOT ONCE has Israel attacked ISIS positions? Why is that? The fact is Israel supports ISIS. It has openly admitted to providing medical aid (on “companionate grounds”) to ISIS fighters. Patching up the terrorists in Israeli hospitals and then setting them free to terrorize Syrian Christian and Muslim populations.

Without the assistance of brave Iranian, Syrian and Russian soldiers Syria would be in ISIS’ hands now and millions of Christians would have been slaughtered. This is what Israel wanted. Is it what the world wants?

Christianity spread from Syria to the world and the Christian population in Syrian came close to being wiped out.

Keith, what drugs are you on?

I think he’s on the same drugs as Danny and Mark311.

This ‘Keith’ guy, at least, has never heard the term ‘proxy’, as in proxy war.

Probably a Soros-paid troll. They start using the name Aaron, go though all 26 letters of the alphabet (57, if you’re Obama) and get to Zeke. When they run out of names, they start again at Aaron111. Hence, Mark311.

I’m well aware of the term proxy war!

ISIS and Al Qaeda are Israel’s proxy forces in Syria. They are the major part of Israel’s efforts to overthrow Assad and to divide Syria and leave it in ruins so that Israel can steal more Syrian land as part of its “greater Israel” plan.

Ask yourself this – if Israel is opposed to radical Islamic terrorism:

How come Israel has NOT ONCE ever bombed ISIS and Al Qaeda positions in Syria?

How come Israel provides medical care to these terrorist groups?

How come the one time a stray missile from ISIS fell into the occupied Golan (stolen) Heights that ISIS quickly apologized to Israel? When has ISIS ever apologized to anyone? They quickly apologized to their patron – Israel!

Israel’s support of Islamic terrorist groups in Israel is undeniable. These terrorist groups if they had their way would wipe out the Christian population of Syria, and that would be just fine with Israel and those who support Israel (including millions of brain-dead evangelicals).

Israel is not an ally in the “war on terrorism” . Anyone who can’t see this is a brainwashed imbecile.

That’s BS. Neither Mark nor Danny are being paid by anyone. Danny is a conservative. Mark is a young person who’s been soaking in the soft left propaganda that passes for a neutral mainstream in the UK, and seems to be trying to expand his horizons a little. Keith is either an Arab antisemite or being paid by Russia. Soros has nothing to do with any of them.

Iran Again Uses Syrian Territory to Attack Israel, Plants IEDs Inside Israeli Border

Israel provides medical care to anyone who needs it. As is its obligation under international law. You, as a typical bloodthirsty Arab, would subject wounded refugees to a loyalty test and deny treatment to those who failed.

How come the one time a stray missile from ISIS fell into the occupied Golan (stolen) Heights that ISIS quickly apologized to Israel?

That didn’t happen. Oh, and the Golan Heights are not “occupied”, let alone “stolen” (which is not at all the same thing); they are part of Israel. That many countries refuse to acknowledge this fact is their problem, not Israel’s.

Milhouse in reply to Milhouse. | May 7, 2021 at 11:14 am

By the way, this is undoubtedly what Keith was thinking of. No missile. ISIS forces fired at an IDF patrol and learned the hard way not to do that any more.

There’s no real evidence of any “apology”, just an ambiguous casual remark from Boogie Yaalon, a wannabe who may or may not have known what he was talking about, but it may perhaps have happened. It’s not impossible. Supposing it did, it means nothing.
