With the mainstream media pushing the narrative of Democratic candidate Joe Biden’s supposed victory in the U.S. presidential race, the Iranian regime is stepping up its attacks on Israel. On Tuesday, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) foiled the latest incursion by the Iranian military and its proxy terrorist groups along the country’s border with Syria.

The IDF on Tuesday uncovered several bombs planted on Israeli territory along the Syrian border, Israeli media reported. The explosives were placed by a “Syrian squad on the orders of Iran’s Quds Force, the main overseas operations arm of the Revolutionary Guards,” BBC reported citing Israel military sources.

“Since the beginning of 2018, the Iranian Quds Force and its militias have launched or attempted to launch nine separate attacks on Israel using Syria as a launchpad,” the IDF confirmed. The latest act of aggression on Israeli soil is a “further proof of Iran’s entrenchment in Syria,” the Israeli military added.

“We will not allow Iranian military entrenchment against us in Syria,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday. “Whoever tries to attack us or attacks us will bear the consequences.”

In the wake of the Syrian conflict which began nine years ago, Iran has built up significant military presence in the country. Syria’s dictator Bashar al-Assad is holding on to power largely due to the combatants provided by the Iranian military and Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist militia.

Israeli TV channel i24News reported the lastet Iranian incursion on Israeli terrotiry:

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson’s unit announced Tuesday that Israeli troops had identified several improvised explosive devices (IEDs) near the Israeli side of the Alpha Line on the southern Golan Heights.

Having identified the threat, IDF combat troops moved in to neutralize the IEDs, which were situated in proximity to the area where IDF troops thwarted an attempt to place improvised explosive devices three months ago.

In response, the IDF said that it “holds the Syrian regime responsible for all events on Syrian soil and will not tolerate any violation of Israeli sovereignty.”

Israel retaliated by hitting several installations in Syria belonging to the Iranian military and the Al Quds Forces, the Iranian regime’s foreign terrorist arm. “In response to the attack, the Israeli Air Force struck eight different Iranian Quds Force and Syrian Armed Forces military targets throughout Syria,” IDF said in a statement. The targets include the Iranian military headquarters in Syria’s capital, Damascus, and an Syrian Army base used by the Al Quds Forces, the IDF confirmed .

The Iranian incursion in the Golan Heights coincides with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s trip to the area. The visit on Thursday was the first of its kind by an American Secretary of State.

“You can’t stand here and stare out at what’s across the border and deny the central thing that President Trump recognized, that previous presidents had refused to do, that this is a part of Israel, and a central part of Israel,” he told reporters in the backdrop of the Golan Heights.

In March 2019, President Trump signed an executive order recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the heights. Israel took control of the strategic mountainous plateau in the defensive war of 1967, destroying Syrian-held artillery positions used for shelling low-lying Israeli towns and villages.

‘Secretary Pompeo visits the Golan Heights’

As the mainstream media clamors for a Joe Biden win in the U.S. presidential election, Iran’s regime hopes for the return of the Obama-era appeasement policy and the end of President Trump’s campaign of ‘maximum pressure’ which has crippled Tehran’s ability to finance proxy terrorist groups across the Middle East.

Iran and its terrorist allies are breathing a sigh of relief in wake of the ongoing cycle. “Trump’s era was a very negative one, a period of demolition,” a spokesman for the Iran-backed Iraqi terrorist group Kataeb Hezbollah admitted.

Tehran is also rushing ahead with its nuclear weapons program, recent reports confirm. The nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported on Wednesday that Iranian stockpile of enriched uranium had now crossed the 2,440kg-mark, 12 times higher than the permissible limit. The amount is “theoretically enough to produce two nuclear weapons,” BBC confirmed
