“what’s being taught on campuses is that the … most important thing … is the color of your skin”

My appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight about our new database and interactive map of Critical Race Training in Higher Education, criticalrace.org: “we’re trying to empower parents and students”

https://youtu.be/AuN5fzPLQ78

I appeared tonight on Tucker Carlson Tonight to talk about Legal Insurrection Foundation‘s new project, the website Critical Race Training In Higher Education (criticalrace.org).

You can read about the project at Legal Insurrection launches ‘Critical Race Training In Higher Education’ website.

The reaction was overwhelming. At one point shortly after the segment aired, we had 79,000 concurrent users, flowing in at 1,000 new users a minute. That is insane traffic.

Here is the video, the transcipt is below:

TUCKER: Well, many colleges and universities now teach something called critical race theory. Now, according to critical race theory, some races are inherently better than other races. This isn’t an assault on racism. It is racism and it’s spreading. Bewilderingly the deepest possible betrayal of the promise of this country of every Martin Luther King speech ever given. And yet it’s in your kid’s school. One law professor started a website called critical race.org. Once again, that’s critical race dot, or you can use that site to track the spread of these diseased ideas in schools and seeing if they’ve infected the schools that your children go to. Bill Jacobson is a professor at Cornell law school. He started this. He joins us tonight. Professor, thanks so much for coming on. You’re a brave man, even to criticize this highly fashionable, deeply poisonous idea, but you’re actually tracking it. Why are you doing this? What have you found?

WAJ: Sure. Hi Tucker. Well, the reason I started to follow it was at Cornell university where I teach in law school. They implemented a push over the summer to embed what they call anti-racism ideology into every aspect of the campus. And as you know, and you’ve explained on your show, anti racism does not actually mean what people think it means. It actually is very racist. It’s current discrimination in order to remedy past discrimination is the ideology. So I saw this developing, I started to research it. I was going to write an op-ed or an article about it. And then I realized it was almost everywhere. And so we began to gather the data we’re focused now on higher education, because that’s the source of all this. That’s where the ideology developed and that’s where people are trained. And we’ve created criticalrace.org, which is a database with an interactive map where people can find out what the colleges and universities to, which they may be sending their children or their children who may be going have going on.

And it really is a full fledged database. You can hover over the map. You can click on your state. You can click on your school. We have 220 universities in the database now, and we’re expecting to expand it to 500 and you can find out what’s going on. Everything is sourced. Everything is linked and the database is actually neutral. It’s just data. You can find out what’s going on in schools. Maybe you like it. Maybe you want your children to be sent to a school where they get indoctrinated, or maybe you’re going to send them to a school where you don’t know what’s going on. And this is a way to find out.

TUCKER: It’s amazing. What, what it, and what a public service, by the way, I don’t think anyone in good faith could argue against more knowledge. Um, which is what you’re providing. What’s the reaction been to this?

WAJ: The reaction so far been overwhelmingly favorable. We just rolled it out this week. We have a tip line, a contact form. A lot of people have been submitting information about the universities and colleges. And again, we only use publicly sourced information. This is what the colleges tell themselves. They love to talk about this stuff. They love to pat themselves on the back about this, but it probably doesn’t make it to their admissions brochures. And you can find this out at our website and it’s been overwhelmingly favorable. And I’ll tell you the one big reaction we’ve gotten is when you’re going to do this for K-12, because K-12 is where a lot of the problems are happening. Now. I’m not sure when we’re going to be able to roll out something like that.

But a lot of parents we’re entering admission season. You’re going to be looking at schools. Don’t just worry about what athletic facilities they have, what the dining room serves, worry about, whether your children are going to have to take mandatory courses and mandatory training in an ideology, which as you’ve indicated is the complete opposite of everything we’ve been taught to believe is good and just, which is to view people based on their inherent worth and their worthiness and not to pay attention to the skin tone color of them. But that’s, what’s being taught on campuses is that the overwhelmingly most important thing in society is the color of your skin and everything derives from that. And you need to know, and we’re trying to empower parents and students.

TUCKER: Well, bless you for doing that. Some races are better than others. I, you know, I thought we kind of settled the question about whether that was poison or not. It is poison it’ll destroy your kids. It will wreck the country. So thank you for fighting back. I appreciate it. Great. Thank you.

I don’t have cable, screw them all.
But.
I’m glad you get to go on Tucker’s show. You’re a valuable voice, Prof. Keep up the good fight.

In the 90’s and early 2000’s when I grew up and went to college, actual racism was basically nonexistent. Nobody CARED what color you were.

Today’s liberals and college attendees are literally the most racist generation in decades. That is not an exaggeration.

And their idiocy is going to fuel a return of actual, REAL white supremacy.

Because if everything is going to be based off race and you are allowed to discriminate based on race, then our race is going to win. And that is a sad place to be, but utterly predictable.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Olinser. | February 4, 2021 at 11:37 pm

I think what many will see as rising white supremacy will, in fact, the white self-defense. Obviously, our government is against us. So, we will be on our own. I have said it in other threads, and I will see it here: we are headlong in the direction the South Africa and Rhodesia went into. It’s not going to be pleasant.

But there is no such thing any more as white self-defense. Ask Zimmerman, McCloskey, Strickland, Baca, or Rittenhouse. Now it’s “racism” and/or “terrorism.”

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to henrybowman. | February 5, 2021 at 5:34 am

Pretty much what I’m saying. We pretty much started losing control of the situation with the 1964 civil rights act was turned into something that the courts could use to beat us to death.

Antifundamentalist in reply to henrybowman. | February 5, 2021 at 10:05 am

Zimmerman is hispanic. But the media invented the term “White Hispanic” just for him. because they wanted the story to be about a white man killing a black youth. And it worked. I was filling out a form last week that had “white,non-Hispanic” and “white,Hispanic” as categories!

Hispanic shouldn’t even be on forms. You can be any color and also be Hispanic because it’s not a race. The ATF form 4473 to purchase or transfer a firearm specifically asks if the person filling out the form is Hispanic or Latino. The form was changed in 2012 and doesn’t ask about any other ethnicity. I live in a majority minority state and my customers have been pissed off about it for 11 years.

While I agree with your comment, the “color of your skin” is not where it is going to stop. I would not want to be a girl of any color competing in sports against transgenders. Wealth disparity will be addressed, in the long run, as in the USSR – expanding, corrupt, incompetent, controlling government will suck the life out of the economy and society for everyone but members of the favored class. (Handling of Covid with respect to nursing homes, lockdowns, public schools and vaccine distribution is Exhibit A in NY & NJ.)

That’s where the left overreached most fatally. This is an issue that doesn’t just pain the deplorables, it pains any family with daughters. If the enemy keeps digging this particular hole, we’re going to end up owning half their constituency, maybe more.

I would add that political bent is far more important to the cancel culture fanatics than any racial background. Merely mention Clarence Thomas and they begin to spit venom.

    steve_gosney in reply to Olinser. | February 5, 2021 at 8:26 am

Yes – same here – I graduate high school in 1985 and college in 1989. None of this craziness was around. There were two crazy lefty English professors at college who taught “deconstruction” and when I asked my history professor what that was, he said, “no one understands it – it is useless.”

    Virginia42 in reply to Olinser. | February 10, 2021 at 12:37 pm

Yep. My undergrad experience in the 80s was very open–lots of talk about racial issues, history, nobody was “triggered.” Then, during grad school in the 90s I could see what was coming “color differentiated history…” Post modernist “truth.” More and more “White people/Western Civ is evil” garbage being taught as history or social sciences.

Now the train is really going off the tracks.

Well done. Well said. Truth that must be told.

We’re trying to throw rocks at the BLM in ed nonsense.

Questions I’m raising to the school board:

One of BLMs main tactics is to use cancel culture to destroy dissent.

Are staff and students empowered to question or dissent from BLM by saying “All Lives Matter?”

Are you creating a safe space for Students and Staff to question assertions BLM is making?

I’m hunting for allies and tools to use in this fight.

Otto in reply to Andy. | February 5, 2021 at 11:24 am

Monday: you raise those questions at a school board meeting.

Wednesday: you are called into HR, because someone has reported you for making racist statements.

Friday: you are fired; no reason is given, because your employment is “at will”.

Sadly colleges are the breeding ground of government and this administration that was installed has jumped whole heartedly into race in everything it does.

Nice job professor. Really great to see two of my favorite commentators on the current state of our nation on screen together.

You noted that you are hearing demand for this data in the K-12 universe and I would argue that this may be even more important than at the college level. At a minimum, we must prepare our children for this indoctrination so we need this information for K-12 public and private. Obviously a massive undertaking but I am curious to know if you have considered a crowd sourced version of your database for K-12?

As the user base for LI and Criticalrace.org expand the ability to crowd source this on a national basis becomes quite plausible.

Great segment, Professor! Let’s hope many parents use the database and this anti-American program be minimized.

Colleges need to see the best and brightest walking away of CRT and other projections of bald faced black on all others racism. If existing universities cannot or will not reject this, then new universities need to be founded to properly educate our youth.

When I read about young children being tramatised with CRT, being told that they cannot help being bad, my blood boiled. Anyone doing this to children deserves to turned into a pile of mush.

Much of the exodus from cities was a direct result of decline of schools. Most of that decline was a reasult of bussing in children who were ruined by piss poor parenting.

Today, we have people who ruined their own children, trying to do the same to our children.

Anti-American? Transhumane. Transhuman, really. Be wary of people… persons who exercise liberal license to indulge diversity [dogma] (i.e. color judgments).

Also on Tucker last night was Bank of America doxing its customers and giving their purchase and transaction history to the FBI…Time to close our accounts

Strange. I don’t remember this kind of action when violent terrorists set Portland ablaze, or set DC on fire, and looted them both. Just like facial recognition, or cell phone tracking, or any of the other police state tools used by the Party against its enemies. Oh, wait. That’s the key. The Portland and DC Leftist firebombing looting and killing groups are not their enemies. They’re a Dem voting bloc

The database needs to be expanded to public junior and senior high schools. That is where the problem really is seeded.

KUDOS I did watch last night just to see what was said.

I thought we were all supposed to be able to self-identify – what right do they have to look at us and judge us as being white?

Well …. “Orange man bad” is no longer inclusive enough, especially since he is out of office. Totalitarians always need an enemy.

Diversity [dogma] (i.e. color judgment), not limited to skin color.

From colored (i.e. physical attribute) people to people of color (i.e. blocs, identity). Progress: one step forward, two steps backward.

Bread & circuses.

Race & diversity is used by the powers that be to distract the masses.

The USA has become an oligarchy.

That’s the issue we should be focused on, instead we’re arguing among ourselves about race.

There are some left-leaning and lefty academics who are managing to keep their voices heard in the maelstrom. Glenn Loury and John McWhorter are just two that immediately come to mind. There are actually a fair amount of academics out there who are opposed to the se neo-segregationists. You guys really need to get together.

I could provide a list if needed.

‘Reverse’ racism is racism.

If the fascist scam ever becomes complete, useful idiots like Lloyd Austin will find themselves back in 1609.

Not that we’ll fare much better….

Hi Professor, don’t stop at schools. While schools are obviously the source, we have corporations enforcing the same junk. Also governmental agencies. List them all. Shine a light on all of them for everyone to see.

What a great idea. I would hope that you would spread it to professional associations for mathematics, chemistry, etc. so that you can track it through academia more completely than just on a college by college basis.

By the way, Cornell is not a done deal, and the Faculty Senate is still taking public comment on their proposal. The University claims it will apply to everyone, including the professional schools, while the outgoing Dean said that it would not apply to the Law School in his recent valedictory webinar.

Who thinks it would be great to see Professor Jacobson presenting a Prager University video on Critical Race Theory?

though we don’t have children in the schools around here we have been paying increasingly higher taxes for the same regardless

like grizz, we’d like to monitor what we’re getting for our tax dollars

the district recently approved a program promoted by a rather questionable group with the slogan “learning forward”
even a cursory examination of their website/literature reveals they are another slick conduit for racial indoctrination

am going to start attending school board meetings again to (hopefully)voice our dissent to such nonsense–perhaps, along with others, can make a difference in at least our little corner of the world

what the professor/staff are doing is, in reality, something that can make a profound difference in our future–whether they succeed or not, am reminded of an old adage: “it is better to light one match than to curse the darkness”

kudos
