Biden Pick for DOJ Civil Rights Division Wrote Blacks Are Superior Due to Melanin

“Melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities — something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards.”

https://youtu.be/hy3Dya_-gR0

Kristen Clarke is an attorney who Joe Biden wants to run the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice. While Clarke was at Harvard, she wrote some things about race that would disturb many Americans.

Tucker Carlson has done two reports about Clarke over the last two days.

From FOX News:

Biden pick to head DOJ Civil Rights Division wrote Blacks had ‘superior physical and mental abilities’

In 1994, Clarke wrote a letter to The Harvard Crimson in her capacity as the president of the Black Students Association to explain her views on race science.

“Please use the following theories and observations to assist you in your search for truth regarding the genetic differences between Blacks and whites [sic],” Clarke wrote. “One: Dr Richard King reveals that the core of the human brain is the ‘locus coeruleus,’ which is a structure that is Black, because it contains large amounts of neuro-melanin, which is essential for its operation.

“Two: Black infants sit, crawl and walk sooner than whites [sic]. Three: Carol Barnes notes that human mental processes are controlled by melanin — that same chemical which gives Blacks their superior physical and mental abilities.

“Four: Some scientists have revealed that most whites [sic] are unable to produce melanin because their pineal glands are often calcified or non-functioning. Pineal calcification rates with Africans are five to 15 percent [sic], Asians 15 to 25 percent [sic] and Europeans 60 to 80 percent [sic]. This is the chemical basis for the cultural differences between blacks and whites [sic].

“Five: Melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities — something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards.”

This is stunning. Watch below:

This is so damning that Wikipedia editors locked Clarke’s page to prevent people from adding this information.

Rudy Takala writes at Mediaite:

Wikipedia Locks Page for Biden’s Tentative DOJ Civil Rights Chief

Wikipedia editors on Tuesday locked the page for President-elect Joe Biden’s pick to lead the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division after users attempted to add reference to a 1994 letter she authored suggesting Black people had “superior physical and mental abilities.”

The letter, authored by Kristen Clarke — then an undergraduate student Harvard — was highlighted on Monday by Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Are you starting to get a sense that the progressives preaching equality don’t really mean it?

Paul Mirengoff of Powerline is blunt in his estimation of Clarke:

Martin Luther King yearned for a society in which people are judged by their character, not their skin color. Kristen Clarke, Joe Biden’s nominee to run the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, begs to differ.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Clarke insisted that when employers hire people, skin color is highly relevant and should carry a “premium.” She even applied this rule to heart surgeons and airline pilots, jobs which have a direct impact on whether people live or die (see the video below at around the 2:30 mark). She called skin color “incredibly important” in making these hiring decisions.

In short, people should be judged by the color of their skin, after all — at least when it comes to employment decisions.

King’s statement about how people should be evaluated provides a good working definition of “racist.” If you evaluate people by the color of their skin, then you are a racist.

By that definition, Kristen Clarke is a racist.

This is a clip from an appearance Clarke made on Tuckers show a couple of years ago, where she insists that diversity hiring should apply to all industries, including airline pilots, as Tucker asked:

Democrats and the media are doubling down on the policy positions they held before Trump. Nothing was heard, and nothing was learned. They don’t care.

Among other things. Nice to know a racist is now in charge of civil rights.

Is it possible she is confusing melanin with melatonin?

Must be some of that good racism that critical race theorists “teach”.

If so, amazing (and embarrassing) mistake by a Harvard Girl.

It does not seem to have helped with her intelligence.

Her brain is probably as mushed as her face.

She is a Michelle Obama clone: affirmative action admittee to a university should never should have been admitted to, and churned out to become the psycho she is – and to be put in place as a tool of destruction of our society.

They’re winning, folks. We have to get off the bench. And stay off it.

Genes determined he innate ability, parenting determined how much of that ability she would utilize.

She is an example of drawing the short straw on both counts.

You are obviously as racist as Kristen Clarke and the Obamas.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Terence G. Gain. | January 15, 2021 at 12:59 pm

Racist, really, she opened her yap and removed all doubt. American blacks toss around claims of racism as often as they use the F word.

I have no problem with blacks succeeding on merit, I am really tired of affirmative dimwits. There is no doubt that she is one.

Terence G. Gain in reply to JusticeDelivered. | January 15, 2021 at 1:26 pm

          Justice Delivered

Yes, there are obviously lots of black racists The Obamas are the two most prominent examples. But how does that justify your obvious racism?

JusticeDelivered in reply to JusticeDelivered. | January 15, 2021 at 9:24 pm

Blacks have been making increasing outrageous demands on whites and society in general, I am tired of that. This article is about a woman which personifies the problem. I see no racism here other than her.

Of course it has! It’s just that her intelligence can’t be measured by Eurocentric standards. (This is a joke, but it’s also not a joke, because many of these sorts believe that standard intelligence tests are biased against POCs. Which thought made me think – why haven’t any of these people developed an intelligence test for POCs? Are they afraid that white people might still test higher on tests made to accommodate POCs? That would be embarrassing!)

JusticeDelivered in reply to DaveGinOly. | January 15, 2021 at 1:10 pm

White average intelligence is lower than Asians and Ashkenazi Jews. Are most whites claiming otherwise?

With each group we are talking averages, and that means some will be slower and some will be smarter that their respective groups average. Groups with lower average IQ will produce far fewer individuals per capita with much higher IQs.

This is not anyone’s fault, it is simple the nature of things.

I submit that pushing people into things where they cannot ever excel does a disservice to them and society as a whole.

Rabid diversitist.

Will Black Supremacy now be fashionable?

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to MarkS. | January 14, 2021 at 5:56 pm

It already is. Take a look at television commercials. Look at virtually every advertising poster at the department store target. Take a look at the advertising at T mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.

I have been a member of an organization called veterans advantage for quite a few years. I logged onto their website the other day to conduct some business. All I saw were black faces, and my speakers very loudly played some sort of a spiritual. I guess I can’t say Negro spiritual because that would be racist. His veterans advantage also trying to tell me something? I have yet to hear back from them about my complaint of the auto play video and audio. I probably won’t.

    Black racism is fashionabl NOW.

    Mark S

    Now?

This is “Bat-Shit Crazy” stuff.
If any white person made comparable remarks (such as lack of melatanin makes us superior) they would not only be excluded from any public office – they would be canceled harassed and utterly destroyed.

If Kristen Clark is seated in this government it will destroy all credibility that the government and her party have on race relations. Even the fact that she was nominated is a stain. Biden is either being misled – and should now realize it; or he has bought into the agenda which makes whites the enemy.

You can’t fight racism with … more racism.
> It amazing how all the anti-racists are suddenly pro racism.
– somebody better notify antifa

And if your policy is to promote racism against the largest racial group in the country – expect a backlash.

This is especially alarming given Biden’s press conference where he said he would prioritize Covid aid to small business based on race with preference given to anyone who is not a white male.

He’s been fully bought-into the racial division strategy for a long time. He was Obama’s VP in 2012 when they went “all in” on that strategy, remember? He’s the guy who said “They’re gonna put ya’ll back in chains” remember? He said “if you don’t vote for me you ain’t black enough” just last fall, remember?

The old Dems are craven for power. They’re setting up racial wars in the country… it’ll be a couple of decades down the road so they don’t care… they’ll be dead by then and they can enjoy their power today. But make no mistake, the policies the Dims are pushing will send us into a tailspin that this country will never recover from.

Right now I am offering a 1/2 price sale on my Anchovy skin cream with melanin. It is certified 10% organic shade grown free trade melanin that has only been harvested by LGBQRT individuals of any gender.

But Wait! There’s more….

For a limited time we are adding melanin pills that work with the skin cream. Each pill contains additional melanin to boost your total melanin levels and, in time release form, are long lasting.

To get your limited supply you must present evidence that you have contributed to Legal Insurrection on at least one occasion.

I remember a book from the 60’s, “Black Like Me” where the author took large oral doses of the anti-vitiligo drug methoxsalen, and spent up to 15 hours daily under an ultraviolet lamp to turn his skin dark enough to pass for Black.

Somebody might as well say it……. the Biden cabinet picks so far have been pretty bad.

Somebody needs to inform this well credentialed attorney that the pineal gland produces melatonin, not melanin.

Yeah…Africa has been the forefront of progress since they chased Whitey off the farms in SA.

Those white owned farms fed the region and food left over to export, today they cannot feed themselves. The rest of us should do nothing to feed them. This is a result of blacks stealing those farms from white owners who actually were capable of managing them.

Three: Carol Barnes notes that human mental processes are controlled by melanin — that same chemical which gives Blacks their superior physical and mental abilities.

Good. Then they don’t need anyone’s help with anything. The only reason sub-saharan Africa never developed a sea-going enterprise was because they didn’t feel like associating with all the non-African dummies in the world. I can understand that.

Five: Melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities — something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards

?? I don’t even know what the hell she thinks she’s saying, there. She is clearly too smart for me.

I’ve seen some blacks make this “melanin” case, lately. It was a new one on me. For most of them, it seems that they were confusing melanin and melatonin. In this chick’s case I think she is confusing “intelligence” and “cookies”.

JusticeDelivered in reply to ThePrimordialOrderedPair. | January 14, 2021 at 7:41 pm

You clearly haven’t seen the documentary that was on the silver screen a short while back. I believe it was called “Black Panther.”
It demonstrates the indisputable truth of the propositions you so unwisely make fun of.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to ThePrimordialOrderedPair. | January 14, 2021 at 9:34 pm

LoL. And there are blacks that claim they could fly, that blacks built the pyramids through the power of their minds, that ancient Egyptian pharaohs were black, and that Hannibal of elephant and the alps fame was black. And the reason that blacks can’t perform these actions any longer is because the evil white man came along and stole their juju.

Not kidding. Some blacks actually believe all that nonsense.

Yup. Also that there were black popes, everyone in the Bible was black, and Mozart was black. And a whole lot of inventors.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Milhouse. | January 16, 2021 at 2:49 pm

With respect, I don’t remember them claiming Mozart. I do, however, remember the claiming Beethoven.

Yes, there are people claiming Mozart was black. There’s even a picture of Chevalier de St George doing the rounds, with a caption claiming that it’s actually picture of Mozart. In their day St George was sometimes called “the black Mozart”, but other than that the only connection between them was that for a few weeks they were both guests at the same house in Paris, and so probably met. Mozart himself was definitely white.

In order for something to be measured, it must first be detected. Professor Clark claims the importance of a this mysterious factor which somehow can not be detected due to cultural factors. Clark needs a better theory.

The Friendly Grizzly | January 14, 2021 at 7:06 pm

More and more, we are devolving into what South Africa has become.

We are doomed.

I like the “make them live by their own rules” play. So, introduce articles of impeachment for her for being openly racist and censure her for biased hiring practices not reflective of the general population, with either to many or to few minorities of various stripes, depending on which way she ends up.

That works even if she hired zero white males as well; Censure her for high wring incorrect ratios of minorities, especially if she does not have sufficient Hispanic or Asian representation and if the ratios of Hispanic and Asian groups are not correct for their national representation either.

It wouldn’t be proper for her to have absolutely zero gay transgender female hindu Saminoan representation in her department would it? According to her standards that would be racist, sexist, transphobic and hinphobic, and clearly not in line with her stated principles.

I always thought that the KKK folks were just stupid, literally, low IQ primates who hoped to elevate themselves, in their own minds, at the expense of someone else. This woman sustains the argument, just in reverse.

The uptick is that they are readily identifiable and generally easy to avoid.

Overall, I used to think that the threshold IQ for bigots, liberals and congress members was lower than it turns out to be. Could be that the IQ tests are even more skewed than previous research has indicated. Sheesh, if Hank “Guam” Johnson wasn’t enough, how about the CBC or Pelosi’s Carolina freak?

Steny Hoyer is really a reprehensible cretin but, bless his stupid soul, he has had to contend with Clyburn for all these years and what does he get for the trouble?

Steny was born into family money, I don’t think that he does the Representative thing for the income so much as that he has validated just how skewed the bell curve actually may be.

JusticeDelivered in reply to NotKennedy. | January 15, 2021 at 1:41 pm

“I always thought that the KKK folks were just stupid, literally, low IQ primates who hoped to elevate themselves, in their own minds, at the expense of someone else.”

    That was also my impression.

A year or so ago National Geographic ran an article detailing origin
    and numbers of slaves.

I expect that overall African IQs have increased because of better nutrition and education, they most certainly have not dropped.

So I did a weighed average IQ based on current IQs of Africans from the points of origin, and came up with 64.

If anything, their IQ would have been lower than that. Today, American black average IQ tests 85. A 20 point increase is a staggering gift. I am not saying that slavery is good, I do thing that in spite of the horror of slavery, that blacks are far better off in America than those who were left behind. If blacks do not agree, then they should return to Africa.

Let me repeat, I am a quarter Native American, half German, and the balance other European linage. My native ancestors most certainly suffered. Right or wrong it is stupid to dwell on it, I did not, I am far more successful than most of the family. Everyone should look to the future, do what is right for their children. Therein lies blacks biggest failing.

History has shown that human beings are pretty much the same, mentally and physically, independent of race. You have people who run the gambit from genius to moron in every race. What historical anthropology has shown is that environmental and sociological factors are the main driving force for social and technological development. Northern Europeans were not any smarter than people in other parts of the world. But, the environmental and sociological factors that they faced forced them to develop a more technologically advanced society.

People who think that skin color or other physiological trait give a person a mental advantage in a society are fooling themselves.

Her view also appears to be saying that those suffering from the heartache of melanin deficiency are disabled. If so, aren’t their civil rights protected from discrimination by the 1990 Americans with disabilities act?

The entire Sundowner the Usurper administration will be based on race inequality.

she’s clearly trying to sneak through using a white slave name. her melanin rich name is way to hard to pronounce for the pasty translucent crowd.
in all seriousness i remember reading and hearing about these claims back in the 90s, it was funny to me but just more fuel for the fire of true racism.

Terence G. Gain | January 15, 2021 at 10:39 am

In order to create a color free society racism should be condemned and racist statements called out. I think America would be in a better place today If Obama’s statement “if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon” had been examined.

What did he mean by it. I do not recall anyone questioning it. Trevon Martin’s death was a tragedy the Trayvon Martin had attacked and overpowered an innocent man. It’s too bad Zimmerman had to use a gun to end the attack but what was the alternative? The same may be said for Michael Brown’s attack on Officer Wilson.

Why did the aggressors skin colour excuse the aggression?

George Floyd died when he was bullied by a stupid police officer who knelt on his neck for nine minutes. Widespread riots, looting and violence followed for months and very few asked whether crime statistics justified the verbal attacks upon police officers by Democrats, the MSM and the Obamas.

I agree with you, the debate has become so heated that the mere pretence of understanding the problems in society has been warped into a blame game. There are wide spread problems in American society but for once it would be good for people to talk about it rather than shout in each others faces.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Terence G. Gain. | January 15, 2021 at 1:51 pm

“George Floyd died when he was bullied by a stupid police officer who knelt on his neck for nine minutes.”

BS, Floyd resisted arrest, pinning him down was done properly, and did not cause his death.

Nearly all black claims about police have been discredited. The Black Liars Matter movement, similar to bowl movements, has promoted a long stream of false narratives.

Terence G. Gain in reply to JusticeDelivered. | January 15, 2021 at 1:58 pm

      Justice Delivered

So you consider it appropriate to kneel on someone’s neck until he dies because he tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill? Yes, he resisted arrest but his hands were handcuffed behind his back and he was lying prone on the ground. He wasn’t going anywhere. You have a warped sense of justice.

Both the manner of arrest and the reaction to it were stupid and unjustified.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Terence G. Gain. | January 15, 2021 at 4:50 pm

He was subdued because he resisted arrest. He made that choice. The real problem here is that one culture in particular feels entitled to break the law. Change that, and the other problems go away. More than a seven fold crime rate for all blacks, with most of that being black males. So what is their rate, maybe ten fold? Whatever it is, it is not acceptable.

Was Floyd too dumb to understand that exertion like that, with his underlying health problems, might have consequences? Maybe so, just like passing counterfeit money has consequences.

I would rather see all people live productive lives, in a niche appropriate for whatever their capabilities are, regardless of race. That means they earn their way. Too many feel entitled to take without earning.

Terence G. Gain in reply to JusticeDelivered. | January 15, 2021 at 6:45 pm

When a prisoner is in distress you call for medical help. There was no rational reason to kneel on Floyd’s neck until he died.

Your entire rationale is moronic, the officers response was disproportionate to the extreme, failed to respond to the victims crys of can’t breathe. Even if drugs or his health were a concern that doesn’t justify the level of restraint and type of restrain. If you are saying that death is an appropriate consequence for being stupid as a result of 20 dollars then I’d suggest you need to check your moral compass.

JusticeDelivered in reply to JusticeDelivered. | January 16, 2021 at 7:59 am

It is common for criminals like Floyd to claim that they cannot breath and Floyd being pinned down was not the cause of death. This is yet another example of a false narrative.

The cause of death was listed as follows “CARDIOPULMONARY ARREST COMPLICATING LAW ENFORCEMENT SUBDUAL, RESTRAINT, AND NECK COMPRESSION ” which is a fancy way of saying the way he was restrained caused his death. Clearly there will be a debate at the trial but unless you can demonstrate a source with expertise in forensic pathology that supports your assertion I’ll stick with the professional view and the logical view thanks.

When a prisoner is in distress you call for medical help. There was no rational reason to kneel on Floyd’s neck until he died.

They did call for medical help. They had to keep him restrained until the help arrived. The knee hold was an approved hold, specifically approved for restraining prisoners who show signs of excited delirium, and have to be restrained not only to stop them resuming their resistance but also for their own good.

The crime for which Floyd was being arrested is irrelevant. Nobody thought dying was an appropriate punishment for passing counterfeit money. He was not being punished for that. He wasn’t being punished for anything. He was being arrested and held, and there can be no dispute that that was appropriate.

He was being restrained for resisting arrest, and who can dispute that that’s appropriate? By that time the underlying crime was irrelevant. The degree of restraint does not depend on the charge; it depends only on how much force is required to prevent the prisoner from resisting and/or escaping. And in the case of a delirious prisoner, also to keep him from hurting himself.

The knee hold was an approved restraint. At some point one of the officers suggested changing to a different hold, but the officer in charge saw no reason to do that. The hold seemed to be working, any change might not work as well, and medical help was on the way.

          @ Milhouse

Ive only read briefly around the restrain used and my understanding is that it wasnt actually approved as a method. Firstly as a restraint type (as in not a specific manouvre but exerting pressure on the neck) it should be used initially then an alternative used. Then there is the specific type of restraint of which i understand there to be two types, the aggressive type which should only be used when there is aggresive resistance and the more moderate type. Both should be used by only those trained in it. The restraint used by the office in question was neither correct or justified given he already had handcuffs on. I mean seriously handcuffed with multiple officers present you need to aggressive press down on his neck no.

      Discredited how? Your source

I think America would be in a better place today If Obama’s statement “if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon” had been examined.

What did he mean by it. I do not recall anyone questioning it.

It was obvious what he meant. He meant that poor little Saint Trayvon had been attacked by that lily-white Jew Zimmerman for no other reason than the way he looked and dressed, and had 0bama’s own hypothetical son been in that place at that time Zimmerman might well have attacked him too. Which is a load of bulldust, but there’s no question that that is what 0bama meant.
