CIA Memo: Brennan Briefed Obama on Hillary’s Alleged Plan to ‘Stir Up’ Trump Russia Scandal Before 2016 Election

Brennan: “CITE [summarizing] alleged approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.”

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified more documents related to failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s alleged plan to stir-up a scandal between then-candidate Donald Trump and Russia.

It turns out former CIA Director John Brennan told President Barack Obama about the idea before the 2016 election as “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.” Brennan’s notes indicate Hillary approved of the plan on July 26, 2016.

Trump also authorized the “declassification of any & all documents” related to the “Russia Hoax.”

Declassified Items From Last Week

First, we need a refresher.

We discovered the plot last week when Ratcliffe declassified three items to the FBI’s investigation into Hurricane Crossfire to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham.

Ratcliffe wrote:

  • In late July 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians’ hacking of the Democratic National Committee. The IC does not know the accuracy of this allegation or the extent to which Russian intelligence analysis may reflect exaggeration or fabrication.
  • According to handwritten notes, former Central Intelligence Agency Director Brennan subsequently briefed President Obama and other senior national security officials on the intelligence, including the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services.”
  • On 07 September 2016, U.S. intelligence officials forwarded an investigative referral to FBI Director James Comey and Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok regarding “U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan concerning U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private mail server.”

Brennan Told Obama

I said in my piece that Ratcliffe needed to declassify these handwritten notes. A source told Fox News that Brennan took the notes “after he briefed Obama on the intelligence the CIA received.”

Ratcliffe did. From Fox News:

“We’re getting additional insight into Russian activities from [REDACTED],” Brennan notes read. “CITE [summarizing] alleged approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service,” Brennan’s notes read.

The notes state “on 28 of July.” In the margin, Brennan writes “POTUS,” but that section of the notes is redacted.

“Any evidence of collaboration between Trump campaign + Russia,” the notes read.

The remainder of the notes are redacted, except in the margins, which reads: “JC,” “Denis,” and “Susan.” ”

The notes don’t spell out the full names but “JC” could be referring to then-FBI Director James Comey, “Susan” could refer to National Security Adviser Susan Rice, and “Denis” could refer to Obama chief of staff Denis McDonough.

So they wanted this scandal in order to distract from the emails. Guess who they sent the referral to? It’s not a shocker:

“The following information is provided for the exclusive use of your bureau for background investigative action or lead purposes as appropriate,” the CIA memo to Comey and Strzok stated.

“This memorandum contains sensitive information that could be source revealing. It should be handled with particular attention to compartmentation and need-to-know. To avoid the possible compromise of the source, any investigative action taken in response to the information below should be coordinated in advance with Chief Counterintelligence Mission Center, Legal,” the memo, which was sent to Comey and Strzok, read. “It may not be used in any legal proceeding—including FISA applications—without prior approval…”

“Per FBI verbal request, CIA provides the below examples of information the CROSSFIRE HURRICANE fusion cell has gleaned to date,” the memo continued. ““An exchange [REDACTED] discussing US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan concerning US presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering US elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.”

Brennan Responds

Brennan denied any wrongdoing on CNN. Of course, it’s all Russia, Russia, Russia:

Brennan appeared on CNN shortly after Ratcliffe declassified the documents, but denied that they showed any wrongdoing on Clinton’s part. He said during the briefing for Obama, he provided examples of “the type of access that the U.S. intelligence community to Russian information and what the Russians were talking about and alleging.”

“If in fact what the Russians were alleging, that Hillary was trying to highlight the reported connections between Trump and the Russians — and that’s a big ‘if’ — there is nothing at all illegal about that.”

It’s All Coming Together

Do not forget that Hillary’s campaign and the DNC paid Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele to put together the dossier on Trump and Russia. We all know it was unverified information.

Comey told Graham last week that nothing rang a bell:

Meanwhile, last week, during a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Comey was asked whether he received an investigative referral on Clinton from 2016, but he said it didn’t “ring any bells.”

“You don’t remember getting an investigatory lead from the intelligence community? Sept. 7, 2016, U.S. intelligence officials forwarded an investigative referral to James Comey and Strzok regarding Clinton’s approval of a plan [about] Trump…as a means of distraction?” Graham asked Comey.

“That doesn’t ring any bells with me,” Comey said.

“That’s a pretty stunning thing that it doesn’t ring a bell,” Graham fired back. “You get this inquiry from the intelligence community to look at the Clinton campaign trying to create a distraction, accusing Trump of being a Russian agent or a Russian stooge.”

Graham questioned “how far-fetched is that,” citing the fact that Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, through law firm Perkins Coie, hired Fusion GPS and ex-British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to author and compile information for the controversial and unverified anti-Trump dossier.

OK, bro.

Just as it is We the People who are tasked with holding electors responsible, so too are we responsible to hold the media to account.

We ordinary folk do not have the the same power over the media that we do over elected officials. We cannot vote them out. We can stop consuming their output but that does not seem to faze them in any significant way. We also have almost no power over unelected bureaucrats. Rule of the people, what a joke.

“We can stop consuming their output”

Most of here have, at every opportunity I work to teach other people that must commercial media lie by both omission and bald faced misrepresentation.

Johnny B knew if he goings down he’s wasn’t going alone.

Prosecuting Hillary will be a lot like the old bar-hopping story: when you hit the head for the first time, its called “breaking the seal”. After that it just seems like yer always going to the bathroom for the rest of the night!

Since there is sooo much skullduggery Hillary is involved with, people must be overwhelmed with just trying to figure out where to start! My advice is to just start somewhere, anywhere and “break the seal”. After the first one, Katy bar the doors, look out for the flood!

Then maybe after she’s in prison we can all feel like we’ve taken a good, healthy dump!

I am hoping that increased scrutiny of Killery sheds light on an abnormal number of suicides, leading to the balance of her life spent in jail. Maybe Bill will also be prosecuted.

    Next, Obummer.

Prime takeaway – only the Russians have the stomach to investigate Hillary. All the Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies in the USA are too afraid to.

So, when the President needs intelligence on Hillary, he has to use intercepted Russian assessments.

NBC, ABC, CBS, NPR, NYT , Washington Post, etc didnt report any of this. Must not have happened.

sarc

100,000 times worse than Watergate, in Obama/Clinton/FBI/DOJ’s and lackeys’ brazen lawlessness, brazen sabotage and subversion of an opposition then-candidate, and, subsequent duly-elected President, and, in their total contempt for democratic process, and, ultimately, the people, themselves.

I’d expect nothing less from the corrupt, narcissist and incompetent, Obama, who learned politics the dirty way, in Chicago.

If the country choose to elect vile Biden, after all these revelations, we will be rewarding these lawless machinations, and, the lawbreakers’ corruption and imperial arrogance.

This SHOULD be a HUGE fucking scandal.

It wont be.

The Democratic Media will make sure its not.

I dub the vile Obama “the (half) black Nixon.”

Far, far worse than Nixon, actually. By orders of magnitude. We can expect Obama’s worshipful fans to continue their nauseating deification of this corrupt, self-serving, tinpot caudillo and hustler.

Hilary Clinton is like a obtuse Lady McBeth. As stupid and inept as she is, people still die all around her.

“If in fact what the Russians were alleging, that Hillary was trying to highlight the reported connections between Trump and the Russians — and that’s a big ‘if’ — there is nothing at all illegal about that.”

That Brennan is a trip. He’s not only trying to pull a rabbit out of his hat, he’s trying to stuff the rabbit and convince us that there’s a hat there, too.

This statement is as good as an alleged bank fraudster’s defense, “If I had an identical twin who was also dressed like me and was trying to fraudulently break into an account – and that’s a big ‘if” – that would be why securitiy cameras seem to show me forging signatures.”

Regretfully, President Trump authorized but didn’t order the release of the classified information. The same Deep State operatives who have deep holed the information will be able to continue to do so.

As Sean Davis has ably reported, at the Federalist, CIA head Gina Haspel — a protege and presumed loyalist of the vile John Brennan — is brazenly attempting to run out the clock on the Trump presidency, knowing full-well that she will likely be fired when Trump is re-elected, and, that a Biden presidency would allow her to avoid testifying.

Haspel, Barr, why is Trump incapable of appointing honest people where it matters?

It is hard because swamp critters are expert con artists. One will not know someone is a member of the swamp until they try to stab one in the back. That is the essence of the Beltway.

Because McConnell won’t put the Senate into recess. As it stands, any and all potential appointees have to be approved by McConnell – who is as deep state as they come.

Vile Obama’s new, ghost-written hagiography, “The Promised Land,” needs a new chapter on his abuse of the office, to sabotage a rival’s campaign and presidency…

Totally predictable that this pathological narcissist and hustler would make a religious reference, in the book’s title, while anointing himself, by implication, an alleged prophet.

But, Obama is no prophet. He is not a hero. He is an evil, vile, self-serving reprobate and consummate hustler.

SeekingRationalThought | October 7, 2020 at 9:48 am

Wouldn’t the fact that the RUSSIANs knew what was going on in the Clinton Campaign indicate that they had penetrated that campaign? Now why wouldn’t Jim Comey want to investigate that as well as the possible penetration of the Trump Campaign?

When will Obama-fan and Dhimmi-crat supporter, Steven Spielberg, produce a movie on Obama’s and crone Hillary’s corruption?

The guy is still producing movies about Watergate, a scandal more than fifty years old, while the Dhimmi-crats are engaged in a contemporary scandal that is 100,000 times worse, in its lawlessness, its subversion of democracy, its breadth of illegality and its abuse of power.

Who will be the next Arkancide?
.

So what happens now?

If the answer is “nothing,” then we have our answer. America is finished.

As Soviet ruler Joseph Stalin said, “How many (military) divisions does the Pope have?”

We don’t know how many divisions the American people have. Our rulers in government and globalist companies are hoping that the answer is “none.”

These career people are just protecting each others collective rear ends. They all know what happened, when it happened and who was involved. Those inner circles are not that big.
I want to think that after Brennan ran his mouth yesterday, I’ve got yet another card to play, declassify and release it all.
Too bad we don’t have people with enough guts to perp walk these people into a federal jail cell.

If the ‘cover up’ is the biggest political scandal in US history, imagine the scale of what they were covering up. Make no mistake, spygate was simply the attempt to install hillsry into the presidency to keep their real crimes hidden (yeah, just because it’s a conspiracy theory doesn’t make it not true). And when hill got her azz handed to her, it was on to the coup. It doesn’t matter if the msm ignores what’s about to happen, they are irrelevant now.

The media will call it a conspiracy theory and Barr will continue to sit on his hands until Trump leaves office

There are two stories here.

The first one I have been explaining to people for years. All of the 2016 actions against Trump, by the federal government, were to protect Hillary. She was obviously guilty of the violations of law related to Severgate. And, when it began to look as though Trump might win the election and his supporters were chanting “lock her up”, she had to be protected. So, Brennan and the CIA set up the predicate for Crossfire Hurricane and gave it to the FBI. Being a counter-intelligence operation, the POTUS would have to be notified of its existence and he probably was. That is story number one.

Story two, is pure CYA. After CH is up and running, Brennan is informed, through sources [possibly CIA], that HRC and her campaign were responsible for setting up a oppo research scheme to claim that Trump was colluding with the Russians to distract attention from Servergate. It was no becoming common knowledge. To cover himself, he briefs the POTUS and makes “notes” to himself documenting his claim of passing this intelligence along to Comey and Stzrok, who are running CH and attempting to gain a Title 1 FISA warrant against a member of the Trump campaign for elint purposes. Brennan knew that there was a good chance that all of this could come to light, if Trump won the election. And, like all the rest of the rats involved, took steps to minimize his liability. These people KNEW what the were doing was not only wrong, but illegal and tried to duck and cover.

johnny dollar | October 7, 2020 at 12:51 pm

I have always assumed that Obama knew of Hillary’s scheme to implicate the Russians in an alleged plot with Trump associates.
That being the case, why would Brennan feel the need to brief Obama about that scheme in July of 2016?
Could it be that the reason for the briefing was not to inform Obama of the scheme, which I believe he already knew about?
The real reason for the briefing was to let Obama know either: That the Russians had infiltrated Hillary’s electronic communications, or that they had an asset inside her campaign.

barbiegirl ny | October 7, 2020 at 4:15 pm

Now they have Michelle Obama doing the same thing just in time for the 2020 election. These degenerates stop at nothing, and the only thing worse are the friggin’ idiots who fall for whatever BS the commie left puts out.

“one of her foreign policy advisors” = Sid Blumenthal.

Investigate him if you want to get to the bottom of this.
