Biden’s ‘Build Back Better’ Is Essentially The Green New Deal

Moderate Joe is no more

The media is tying itself in knots trying to assure the American people that Joe Biden is not on board with the radical socialists and communists that have taken over the Democratic Party.  They keep pointing at his near half-century record as a politician and screeching, “he’s a moderate!”

However, even a casual glance at his campaign website suggests that his agenda, should he win in November, is very radical indeed.

In fact, his “build back better” slate of agenda items could have been (may have been?) written by socialists Bernie Sanders and/or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (archive link).  They and others have already presented much of it. . . as the Green New Deal.

The page, entitled “Build Back Better: Joe Biden’s Jobs and Economic Recovery Plan for Working Families,” could be a chapter out of the Communist Manifesto.

That tired, old white supremacist capitalism is so tired and old. And white.  What we need is a Green New Deal that has most Americans in some type of “good union job” or assigned to some government projects like the “Public Health Job Corps.”

Biden believes this is no time to just build back to the way things were before, with the old economy’s structural weaknesses and inequalities still in place. This is the moment to imagine and build a new American economy for our families and the next generation.

An economy where every American enjoys a fair return for their work and an equal chance to get ahead. An economy more vibrant and more powerful precisely because everybody will be cut in on the deal.

Biden then lists the four points of this completely unAmerican plan that puts the power and the voice in a central government that seeks to ensure everyone is “equal” and gets their “fair share.”

The plan recasts the American people as servants to the central government.

The Biden plan will mobilize the American people in service of four bold, national efforts to address four great national challenges.

See what they do there? They aren’t the public servants who are elected to represent us, and to serve our best interests, we become the servants who serve their best interests.

Mobilize American manufacturing and innovation . . . . he is releasing a plan today to build a strong industrial base and small-business-led supply chains to retain and create millions of good-paying union jobs in manufacturing and technology across the country.

Mobilize American ingenuity to build a modern infrastructure and an equitable, clean energy future. Biden will soon release updated proposals to meet the climate crisis, build a clean energy economy, address environmental injustice, and create millions of good-paying union jobs.

Mobilize American talent and heart to build a 21st century caregiving and education workforce . . . . Joe Biden will soon announce a plan to make it far easier to afford child care and to ensure aging relatives and people with disabilities have better access to home and community-based care; to elevate the pay, benefits, and professional opportunities for caregivers and educators; to create millions of good-paying new jobs in these areas with a choice to join a union; and to free up millions of people to join the labor force and grow a stronger economy in return.

Mobilize across the board to advance racial equity in America . . . . As President, he will pursue a dedicated agenda to close the racial wealth gap, to expand affordable housing, to invest in Black, Latino, and Native American entrepreneurs and communities, to advance policing and criminal justice reform, and to make real the promise of educational opportunity regardless of race or zip code.

All of these Green New Deal-based “mobilizations” of the American people in service to the state will be made possible, of course, by passing the “Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, providing public service and federal government workers with bargaining rights, and taking other steps to make it easier for workers to organize unions and collectively bargain.”

No, this is not Bernie and AOC on crack. This is the current Democrat nominee for president: Joe Biden. And he is no moderate, not anymore.

We see this equally clearly in his equally Soviet-style “plan” for rural America. In this plan, “rural America” effectively becomes the government’s agricultural and green energy tool, with the country split into “regional food systems” that are micro-managed by the federal government (archive link) in service of “all of America.”

Rural Americans fuel us and feed us. Rural lands provide us with places to spend time outdoors with friends and family and relax.

“Flyover” country is just a place to get produce and fuel (and yes, there’s a plan for that, too, and it includes “an inclusive and empowering All-of-Government approach“-archive link). Oh, and “rural America” is also a fun place to visit when one feels a strange compulsion to be outdoors.

Basically, though, according to Team Biden, we need to make being servants to the state more attractive through collective bargaining.

The Biden Administration will partner with small and mid-sized farmers to help them collectively create supply chains to deliver fresh produce and other products to schools, hospitals, and other major state and federal institutions, including the Defense Department.

And it’s all going to be done with “net-zero carbon emissions.” Apparently, there will be no farting cows in Biden’s rural America.

Also, the Biden plan includes a renewed focus on ethanol and biofuels, so presumably, they have a regional zone all picked out for their production. Ditto a zone or zones for wind and solar, in which big (taxpayer- / worker-) investments are promised.

And, per the Green New Deal, the Biden plan promises to “rebuild America” brick by brick, building by building.

As president, Biden will make smart infrastructure investments to rebuild the nation and to ensure that our buildings, water, transportation, and energy infrastructure can meet America’s economic needs and withstand the impacts of climate change.

. . . . And, it will build the roads to give farms and small town businesses access to markets and an efficient means to participate in the world economy.

Then, out of nowhere, Bernie’s tired pledge for government to provide broadband internet access to everyone rears its ugly commie head.

Actually, I’m pretty sure all of this is Bernie’s agenda. He lost, though, so I guess Democrats think they can unload this disastrous Green New Deal nightmare via clueless Biden.  I’m pretty sure he’s never read a word of this vile, unAmerican claptrap, or that if he did, he didn’t understand a word of it or even begin to comprehend its terrifying ramifications.

The media sure aren’t asking about any of this, but my guess is that President Trump will have plenty to say about it come the first presidential debate.

Biden is the defacto proxy for Bernie who is openly directing the Dem politics on the ground, in the media and in the smoke-filled backrooms. This election is NOT about Trump vs Biden. It’s about Trump vs ? (communist candidate to be revealed after they steal the election).

Precisely. And, it’s why I found Biden’s plaintive plea, issued the other day (“Come on — do I look like a socialist?”) to be so totally laughable. This dolt has adopted the “Green New Deal” and every other idiotic and destructive trash idea from the Bernie/AOC wing of the Dhimmi-crat Party; he’s appointed Occasional-Cortex his “climate” czar, or whatever; he’s made it clear that the worst, most radical and totalitarian elements of the Dhimmi-crat Party will have a privileged seat of influence in his Administration, yet, he denies being a socialist?

Biden is a wayward marionette controlled by vicious and vile neo-communist, America-hating handlers. And, the strings are visible.

Also, this notion that the mainstream media keeps trying to sell — that there actually exists some substantive element of “centrism,” “pragmatism,” or, “moderacy,” in the contemporary Dhimmi-crat Party, is absurdly false. Any “moderates,” such as the “blue dog Dems,” have long since been purged from the Party a long time ago.

California has proved one thing. You reach zero emissions when you sit in the dark and sweat.

This ridiculous and fallacious notion being proffered by dim-witted dotard-marionette, Biden, that currently, American workers allegedly don’t have an “equal chance to get ahead,” nor are they earning a “fair return” for their work, is neo-communist rubbish — the politics of resentment and envy, so poisonous to our society and so manifestly untrue. But, it is a narrative which has political potency.

The American dream is alive and well, as myriad entrepreneurs, sole proprietors and small business owners prove, daily. Too bad the Dhimmi-crats never actually do anything to support business owners; they’d rather vilify them.

The problem really is that a large chunk of the ingrate Dhimmi-crat base is too lazy, self-entitled and coddled to actually earn an honest living, at any kind of substantive work. See the dolts who are out “protesting,” while everyone else is working.

Apparently, there will be no farting cows in Biden’s rural America.

There is a significant and vocal contingent of progressives that would, if they could, mandate vegetarianism. Never mind that implies the deaths of millions of animals, who rather than usefully dying to feed people will die because they are now an expensive burden.

Worse than that – at least vegetarianism allows for consumption of milk, cheese, and other dairy products. These totalitarians want to go whole hog and mandate veganism. If you read up on their propaganda it’s clear they’re all about “sustainability” and not really about human health.

I think a strong case can be made for the proposition that veganism is a significant factor in mental illness.

And, per the Green New Deal, the Biden plan promises to “rebuild America” brick by brick, building by building.

So that’s why BLM/antifa is burning so many buildings! Gotta have a need to rebuild, to help sell Joe’s ‘build back better’ plan.

first of all what ever you want to call it, it is full of horse manure, has no benefit to the american people. it brought to mind the movie ‘metropolis’ watch it some time

The first time I heard the slogan “Build Back Better”, I had to laugh, seriously. I wondered what kind of marketing genius came up with that slogan, but I did not have to wonder what kind of idiot paid for their work 🙂

Canadian Prime Minister Justin “Woke” Trudeau announced his “Build Back Better” plan in April. If Sleepy Joe is getting his ideas from the Ottawa Idiot, he’s a lot more dangerous than listening to Crazy Bernie.

Why is “Build Back Better” not just another way of saying “Make America Great Again”? Was the time to which Joe will build to and improve not “great”? Is this not a “dog whistle” for a return to earlier, darker times (only better!)?

Well, first and perhaps most importantly, the earlier, darker time Biden proposes to Build us Back Better to is Lenin-Stalin’s Soviet Union, Mao’s China, Castro’s Cuba. So, sure, if that sounds like a ton of fun to you, then I guess it’s Making America Mao . . . not Again, but for the first time ever in the history of our great nation. America has never been and was never intended to be a communist dystopia. You get that, right?

Hmm. Mobilize. Mobilize. Mobilize. …

Sounds good, Joe, but you need to make it more concrete. What’s your five year plan?

He’s running on California’s energy policies, Minneapolis’s racial and policing policies, and New York’s public health policies.

And he’s doing it unironically.

This sounds like literal Soviet-style communism: a regime of complete centralized economic planning (coupled with the stifling of any dissent, which is already well underway). Who is this actually meant to appeal to — school children? Less than two months to the election and Biden’s people are still trying to gin up enthusiasm from the LEFT? Half-baked promises of a complete government takeover of the economy aren’t going to win over any voters who aren’t already firmly entrenched on the far left side of the spectrum, and the numbers of people fitting that description aren’t nearly enough to win the swing states.

Plus, the idea that drooling, semi-lucid, old Joe Biden has the vision or talent to conceive of and actually put into place ANY significant reform of the government or the economy is preposterous on its face. He’s no FDR. He’s not a leader or a visionary. At best, he’s an Alben Barclay-type figure. NOBODY is buying this crap.

The similarities to Soviet Russia are striking and chilling. Fuzzy, did you inadvertently leave out the first round of Five Year Plans? Can you imagine the government in charge of food production? I can, because I’ve read Solzhenitsyn and others who were there.

California has shown us the truth about incompetent or evil bureaucrats when given control of energy. Now picture them controlling food production. We may need to coin a new term, but the result is Holodomor. If Biden wins and his handlers control the levers of national government we deplorables will become kulaks within a very few, very short years.

I’m pretty sure he’s never read a word of this vile, unAmerican claptrap, or that if he did, he didn’t understand a word of it or even begin to comprehend its terrifying ramifications.

Of course not. This is the result of facilitated committee work brainstorming with flipcharts and post-it notes. As usual with such meetings, the results reflect the interests of the “facilitators” and of the dominant people in the room — in this case they appear to have all been Bernie Bros and AOC types. You know, the eager young activists who are willing to take part in these exercises.

Biden is analogous to the Weimar Republic’s Paul von Hindenburg, with Kamala Harris as the Hitler in waiting.

It’s unbelievable. Thank you GOPe.

Hindenburg was president of Germany. In January 1933, he appointed Hitler Chancellor. Hitler was able to overthrow constitutional government upon Hindenburg’s death in 1934:

Well that sounds like a very efficient way to destroy the economy and to lower American standards of living to 3rd-world norm.

Viewing this all from Australia, it just smacks of the leftist rubbish in the British Labor Party manifesto before Jeremy Corbyn and the rest of his socialist friends got their ass handed to them.

Biggest swing to the Tories (conservatives) in nearly a century. Party got taken over by socialists and they lost their traditional working class base. Promised the world, including free broadband. But the common folk knew their feckless leader couldn’t run a cafe let alone a country. Sound familiar?

It’s also a clumsy, oafish, ear-grating attempt at catchy alliteration.
