There are few people who have contributed to the Trump Derangement Syndrome gripping half the nation than Joe Scarborough of MSNBC. Along with this co-host, guests, and other hosts at MSNBC, Scarborough fed the anti-Trump movement an almost four-year diet of paranoia and conspiracy theories.
That derangement is a backdrop and breeding groun for the BLM-Antifa riots taking place now in Portland and Seattle, and spreading elsewhere. Unlike the widespread earlier rioting and looting, the focus now is burning down federal courthouses and attacking the police, particularly federal law enforcement guarding federal buildings and property.
It’s not a good look for Democrats, and is being used by Trump against Biden.
Now Joe is worried that the images may help Trump.

Sort of reminds me of Chicago in 1968. Only then Dailey recognized he had to stop it instead of leashing the PD to allow the riots, then making an appearance with the mob and deciding he needed to let the Portland PD loose after the mob attacked him. In short, COVID-19 is not America’s plague. It did not shake America. The ruling class shook it. They have not done it ignorantly or by mistake. Their claim to speak on behalf of “science” is an attempt to avoid being held accountable for the enormous harm they are doing. FYI, it goes back a lot further than “weeks.” I’m in Portland, and Antifa has been active here for years, and the local media has been saying all along that Antifa “doesn’t exist,” and for a long while the media was blaming the violence on some conservative group called the “Proud Boys.” As if we had conservative groups marauding up and down the streets in Portland. I wish.
It boggles the mind that anyone could claim Antifa doesn’t exist when there are photographs of them waving banners that identify themselves as such. They even have a website, for crying out loud!
