Louisiana State U. Prof Vows to Drop Students Who Are on ‘Hate List’

“If @LSU won’t take action, we as professors can. Keeping a list of names and if I see them enrolled in my course, I will drop them.”

This professor is talking about curating a list of students who engage in ‘hate speech’ and dropping them from class. This is a public university.

FOX News reports:

LSU professor vows to ‘drop’ students on ‘hate speech’ list

A Louisiana professor called on her colleagues to keep a list of students who engage in “hate speech” and “drop” them from classes at the public university after George Floyd’s death, Campus Reform reports.

Louisiana State University Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences Alyssa Johnson made the comments after the school’s official Twitter responded to those calls, saying, “we are subject to constitutional limitation on our ability to take action in response to free speech.”

Johnson wrote, in a now-deleted tweet: “If @LSU won’t take action, we as professors can. Keeping a list of names and if I see them enrolled in my course, I will drop them. It’s not just free speech, it’s hate speech and it’s a threat to student safety. #safespace #BlackLivesMatter”

Another professor in Johnson’s department, LSU Associate Professor William T. Doerrler, responded to another deleted tweet, writing: “Thank you!! If he enrolls in my class I’ll drop him too!”

LSU, in a series of tweets, apologized for “not effectively” communicating the school’s “core message” and said officials met with “Black student leaders to pledge again that LSU will investigate and take action against all acts of racism, hostility, harassment and intimidation by students under our code of conduct. We will hold violators accountable.”

This will continue until deans and the other timid mice infesting administrations do something. Suspensions and then sackings seem indicated. And what is the Louisiana legislature going to do about this new Dark Age descending on public campuses? Slashing budgets seems a good first step and then abolishing tenure, which serves only to ensure that liberals are 95% of the faculty.

I see lawsuits coming, from current and former students. They now have a very public smoking gun.

These two are just as stupid as Oberlin College’s staff.

When did Universities become the cable company? (When they became gate-keeper monopolies; now they’re graduating from rent extraction to extortion.)

Prof-pronouncement, there certaily clarifies the contract involved. Too bad there’s not an EULA, not that that would be good for the marks, I mean customers. At least when you get an EULA you know that the other folks put lot of effort in to making sure the rules work for them.

I’d feel bad for the prof, there: he’s in a vice himself. Except he has his cushy place because he’s a useful bot of the system he’s in. He made his deal.

Sounds like it may be time for an academic review for this professor.

We should kill affirmative action in all its forms, and evaluate rather existing AA hires are competent. There is a huge problem with AA degrees which should not have been granted.

Shut up and teach.

As with so many universities, filled with filth who could not obtain competitive employment in the real world.

I recommend that all students boycott any course that is associated Alyssa “Shitbird” Johnson.

Sight unseen, my mental vision for her is very similar to Stacey “Queenie” Abrams.
