Biden Demands Twitter Remove Trump Campaign Video Despite Doing the Same Thing in March

Biden’s campaign sent out a manipulated video of Trump calling coronavirus a hoax. Take some of your own medicine, sir.

Former Vice President Joe Biden can dish it, but he certainly cannot take it. What a wuss.

Biden demanded Twitter remove a video from President Donald Trump’s campaign because it manipulated video to make it seem like Biden called the Wuhan coronavirus a hoax.

WEIRD. Biden’s campaign did a similar thing in March.

Trump’s Campaign Video

We all know Twitter treats the left better than the right. They can deny it all they want, but actions speak louder than words.

The left still thinks Trump called the coronavirus a hoax. His campaign flagged the content as a violation of the platform’s “manipulated media guidelines.” Twitter never took action.

What Trump actually said:

“Coronavirus. They’re politicizing it. We did one of the great jobs, you say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ ‘Oh, nothing, nothing.’ They have no clue, they don’t have any clue. … And this is their new hoax. But you know, we did something that’s been pretty amazing.”

So the Trump campaign released an ad on Twitter with a manipulated video of Biden calling the virus a hoax.

Biden Cries

Biden’s spokesman TJ Ducklo complained to Axios:

This is a wildly irresponsible tactic by the Trump campaign that attempts to draw a bizarre and false equivalence, and is purposefully misleading voters,” Biden campaign spokesman TJ Ducklo tells Axios in a statement.

  • “Disinformation and deceptively manipulated media have no place in our public discourse, and must not be tolerated in this campaign,” Ducklo said.
  • “Twitter cannot allow their platform to be a mechanism to spread lies and fake media, and if the Trump campaign won’t do the right thing, Twitter should remove the video immediately.”

Biden is a Hypocrite

I guess Biden’s campaign wiped March 3 off its calendar because he tweeted out a manipulated video of Trump.

Even The Washington Post dragged Biden. WaPo pointed out that Trump did not call the coronavirus a hoax. There’s more:

The second clip and the audio appear to be from Trump’s June 2015 announcement that he would, in fact, run for president. Throughout the 2016 campaign, Trump repeated the phrase “the American Dream is dead.” However, each time — including during his announcement — the then-candidate followed that line with some variation of: “If I get elected president I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before, and we will make America great again.”

The message is unarguably bleak, but by failing to include the second half of Trump’s repeated line, it isolates the comment from the context of Trump’s political argument. Moreover, the ad does not make clear that the clip is nearly five years old, ignoring the difference between when a candidate and a sitting president makes a provocative, political statement like this.

This is an example of “Missing Context”: The video is unaltered, but the way it is presented to the viewer lacks or misstates the context in which events occurred. In this specific case, this is an example of what we labeled as “isolation” — a brief clip from a longer video to create a false narrative that does not reflect the event as it occurred.

“Joe Biden can dish it, but he certainly cannot take it.”

He’s a Democrat. Isn’t him?
That’s what they do.

It certainly is manipulated audio.

In it Biden manages to string together 5 (6 if you separate corona and virus) words without:

A. Dozing off
B. Forgetting where he is and what he is doing there
C. Checking the notes someone wrote for him
D. Randomly uttering “c’mon man”
E. Cussing and threatening someone

It has to be manipulate man.

And this is what you can expect:
Twitter will remove Trump’s video but they will leave Biden’s up. They will come up with some bullshit excuse about how it’s not the same case and Trump is violating the rules but Biden is such a nice Boy Scout.

They already said why they left the Biden ad alone — because it was posted before their new policy came into effect. That remains just as true now. If Biden were to release a new ad using the same dishonest technique, Twitter will tag it as manipulated, just as they did to the Trump ad. (They didn’t remove it.)

Given Twitter’s previous behavior surrounding the application of its rules, I’m baffled by your certainty.

I don’t trust them, but this is out in the open, so they need some excuse. Their excuse this time was that he got it in before the policy. That won’t work twice.

What they’re saying is that, when it suits them, their policy takes precedence over basic integrity and truth.

Bite me is the real hoax.

Hypocrisy is Democratic oxygen. They can’t exist without it.

Correction: Joe Biden’s marionettist (aka campaign manager) can dish it out but ze can’t take it.

Joe has no idea what’s going on right now. He gets a moment of clarity or two with some drugs in his system then is put back in the cubby hole with the other useful puppets.

I don’t want a two-faced crybaby like Sleepy Joe leading any country, anywhere. Ever. He obviously has the backbone of a boiled shrimp, which is a great match for his below room temperature IQ.

Senile (and silly) old coot. In the brains department Slow Joe is a taco shy of a Mexican combination plate.

It’s quid pro slo joe. He’s a gaffe machine, and he’s senile. He just said the stimulus money should be sent out immediately and no one should have to wait for Trump to sign the checks.
He’s not going to be the dem candidate.

Joe Biden says stimulus cash payments should be made now: “No American should have to wait a single minute so Donald Trump can put his signature on a physical check. It isn’t about him … payments should be electronically made or via pre-paid debit card.” https://abcn.ws/2XaKGWJ

Cardboard cut-outs cannot talk.

Whatever biden is ‘saying’ is said by some leftist lunatic.
