The Palestinian Authority (PA) has banned LGBT activities in the West Bank, launching a search for gay rights activists. The main target of the crackdown is a group called Al-Qaws for Sexual & Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society. The leading Palestinian gay rights group was planning to hold a meeting of its members later this month.

“The attack on us is unprecedented,” a member of Al-Qaws told The Jerusalem Post. “They are calling us traitors and corrupt people, and many are calling for our execution. We are afraid for our lives.”

The Palestinian police are urging the public to inform on LGBT activities. The authorities called on people “to contact the police and report any person who has a connection to this [Al-Qaws] organization,” the watchdog Pal Media Watch reported citing Palestinian police sources.

The Palestinian crackdown is a slap in the face of Western LGBT groups supporting a vicious Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel. Several LGBT rights activists in Europe and North America have rallied under the banner of “Queers for Palestine” to vilify Israel, the only safe haven for gays in the entire Middle East.

Jerusalem-based newspaper Israel Hayom reported:

The Palestinian Police in the West Bank have banned a Palestinian LGBTQ rights group from organizing any activities, saying such activities go against the “values of Palestinian society.”

According to Palestinian media, activists were barred from holding rallies or pride parades and were warned that doing so would result in their arrest.

Palestinian Authority Police Spokesman Louay Arzeikat said that such events organized by the group Al Qaws for Sexual & Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society “go against and infringe upon the higher principles and values of Palestinian society.” (…)

Arzeikat asserted that “suspicious individuals” were trying to “sow discord and undermine Palestinian society’s peaceful state of affairs.” He called on Palestinians to report on any al Qaws activity, promising informers confidentiality, and said that the police would pursue al Qaws’s activists and turn them over to judicial authorities if they are apprehended.

The statement followed a Facebook post by al Qaws, saying it planned to hold a gathering in Nablus on Aug. 4 that discussed gender pluralism in the city.

Ironically, under siege in Gaza and the West Bank, the Palestinian gay rights group Al-Qaws is carrying out its activities from offices in East Jerusalem and Haifa, both located in Israel.

Meanwhile, the ‘pro-Palestinian’ LGBT groups in the West are busy hijacking gay events to spread their anti-Israel message. Berlin witnessed a “Queers for Palestine” march in July. According to the organizers, the rally had been called in “solidarity with the Palestinian struggle” and against the “politics of White entitlement.” The German gay rights group described itself as being “firmly committed to anti-oppression, including against all forms of racism, colonialism, ableism, whorephobia, queer- and transphobia.”

The mainstream German LGBT groups have sought to distance themselves from these anti-Israel activists. Earlier this year, the German parliament and leading student groups had declared the BDS Movement as antisemitic. This action severely crippled the campaign’s ability to get access to public funds and venues.

The police crackdown on Palestinian gays once again highlights the hypocrisy of anti-Israel LGBT activists. While they march as “Queers for Palestine,” the Palestinian leadership wages an open war on gay Palestinians. They disregard the fact that the only safe place for Palestinian LGBT groups to operate without fear happens to be Israel. It may be woke to be “Queer for Palestine” in London or Berlin, but being queer in Palestine is a whole different ball game.

And so it begins.. And they are surprised and never saw this coming.

LGBT has a supremacy problem. It’s not male homosexual pride etc., but rather transgender spectrum. They should at least be inclusive of all individuals who exhibit transversal gender physical and/or mental attributes. Ideally, political congruence (“=”) (e.g. “love wins”) would be inclusive of all consenting adults. So Pro-Choice.

Their problem is the one that people have been saying for years, ever since the ‘transgender’ lunacy became popular.

    It’s quite simple to grasp.

The entire calling card of the gay movement for decades has been ‘born this way’.

Transgenders claim that they can change gender any time they want, regardless of actual biological evidence.

    These ideas are simply incompatible.

It’s called doublethink. Basic party doctrine. Wait, you doubt it? THOUGHTCRIME!

They lost me after sticking in all the letters of the alphabet in their acronym.

Before it was just the Gay BLT.

So true indeed. It’s been fun to watch the feminists getting mad at the transgenders over women’s sport; while no-one should’ve been surprised by an Islamicist movement attacking LGBT (unless it’s a dominant Muslim Sodomite practicing some bacha bazi). However, these are all people hell-bent on destroying Western civilization.

“undermine Palestinian society’s peaceful state of affairs.”

Surely this is humor, palestinians peaceful, only after death.

I expect the MSM will be Allah over this story. After all, they are so surah that the Qu’eeran is a peaceful book that they will never let errant Muslims hijack a religon of peace and persecute the LGBTQ community.

Bet their printing presses and studios are all pointed towards Mecca too.

P.S. Wonder if the NYT will admit that it was Muslims at the heart of 1619 selling Africans slaves all over the world. Some religion that!

When there’s only one sect left, they’ll still be killing those not pure enough for himself. Or each other.

Societal control in islam is predicated on grossly restricting behavior within the religious body, creating great internal stress for you males who are unwed and are, uhm, frustrated.

Those outside the Ummah are free targets, to be raped, and murdered at will. Damned kaffirs. Offering the refief valve and a focus for the internal fury. Look at Orwell and Emmanual Goldstein? Same dynamic used by damned near any totalitarian regime. An external enemy on which to focus and drain away the rage instilled by the jackboot on THEIR necks. The require an enemy, or it all explodes. One will be found or created.

So, it sounds like gay marriage is still a year or two away from being accepted by the PA?

“The attack on us is unprecedented,”

Have they been living under rocks? This is a relatively mild response, historically speaking.

Dear gays, stand with your intersectional “friends” in the BDS movement and win a prize: free flying lessons.

The enemy of your (perceived) enemy is NOT always your friend

on that note. Most Christians I know do not agree with your lifestyle, and may not want to watch it (or any steamy kiss between anyone on the public square). But we do not want to kill you. We are not your enemy, but you are making yourselves quite unwelcome in your push to make us accept you.

So if the Palestinians all declared themselves some form of LGBTQ+, the intifada would be a gay pride event, and Israel’s response would be gay bashing?

OTOH, given the “bake that cake or else!” and Drag Queen Story Hour and twerking lessons, and using whichever locker or changing room you identify with (maybe the ladies here will weigh in if a untransitioned man like the one that wanted a Bro-zilian wax should be able to).

It starts with very nice, well spoken people saying they just want to be treated equally and ends with the most bizarre things being forced on kindergartners.

I think the Palestinians might have the better idea than Israel here, if our experience is any guide.

You see it reversed – it isn’t the violent Palestinians shouting “death to Israel”, it is a well spoken diplomat trying to say “we just want to end the ‘apartheid'”.

What I find odd is that Muslims condemn LBGT, but it’s okay to have sex with children (including boys, as in Afghanistan) and goats.

Islam doesn’t forbid bestiality, nor does it forbid rape as such. Muslims condemn homosexuality because Islam commands the execution of homosexuals, but in the case of male homosexuality Islam only deems the bottom to be homosexual. The victim can’t successfully allege rape without the required 4 male witnesses, and if they did so allege they would be admitting to homosexuality, which is a capital offense. Hence men can rape boys with impunity, and in madrassas older boys rape younger ones, perpetuating the cycle of victimization.

Naturally these boys are expected to take wives when they become adults, so one can imagine how a man whose only experience of sex was being raped will treat his wives. Sexual assault of children is unsurprisingly also quite common among Muslim men. It is similarly never punished.

Murder of children and grandchildren is one of the exemptions to Retaliation (as Reliance of the Traveler calls punishments) For Injurious Crimes.

the religion of peace?–right

if they came here to truly live in peace then would have no objection to muslim immigrants yet, time after time, and all over the world, they promulgate their faith through violence toward innocents and non-believers with the goal of either converting or exterminating everyone

for how long must our patience, our reason be tried?

As ugly as rashida is you have to assume she’s queer. With a face that radiates her bone deep ugliness it’s a pretty safe bet she can only be with a fat feminist loser also.
And I’m not sure how the palestinians would feel about a second class person (woman in the vernacular) who marries her brother.
They’d probably both be stoned to death over there for what they’ve done.

    randian in reply to 4fun. | August 20, 2019 at 11:04 pm

Unless they actually had sex that would be unlikely, since the purpose of the marriage was to take advantage of the infidel, which is always permitted. Since pretty much all of Islam’s commandments can be ignored if you are doing so to deceive the infidel or advance the spread of Islam, I’m not sure that evidence of actual incest would get them punished.

I wonder what “The Squad” thinks about this!

At least the Mohammedans still support the original judgment that sodomy is an abomination. Good to know they aren’t all bad.
