Michael Moore: Only Michelle Obama can save us from 4 more years of Trump

Michael Moore: Only Michelle Obama can save us from 4 more years of Trump

Everything is unfolding just as we have been predicting for two years ago.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLYpqPtWC1o

Everything is unfolding just as we predicted almost two years ago.

We predicted that as the Democrat presidential field looked likely to yield a sure loss to Trump, Democrats would turn their lonely eyes to Michelle Obama, possibly as late as the convention if it looked like a Bernie win.

I expected panic to set in at the prospect of a Bernie nomination, but the Democratic field is so horrible as displayed at the first two rounds of debates, that panic is setting in early.

I wrote in February 2018, Michelle Obama 2020 coming into focus with Memoirs release just after 2018 midterms:

The timing [of her memoir release] fits perfectly with my prediction. It’s too soon to signal presidential intentions, but not too early to plan ahead.

Let the commoners like Kirsten Gillibrand, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and assorted other Democrat hopefuls jockey for position. They do not have the star power of Michelle. It’s why there was a rush to embrace Oprah when after her Golden Globes speech — Democrats are desperate for someone who can spark the Obama magic once again, who can serve to unify and motivate various factions of the party the way Mr. Obama did.

Who better than a real Obama? Someone whose narrative will be another first….

Don’t doubt that if Michelle chooses to run, she will win the Democrat nomination. Her candidacy will suffocate all others. They dare not deprive the Democrat Party of an Obama third term….

All she has to do is just Say Yes to the Nomination.

That memoir, by the way, is the best selling memoir of all time.

Michael Moore is openly calling for help from Michelle. Newsbusters has the transcript (emphasis added):

Who can crush Trump? Who is the street fighter? We saw it in Bernie last night. Who is the street fighter that can crush Trump? And frankly, I think there’s a person that could do this, if the election were held today, there is one person that would crush Trump . And she hasn’t announced yet. And her last name rhymes with Obama. In fact, it is Obama. Michelle Obama. Everybody watching this right now knows she is a beloved American and she would go in there and she would beat him. She would beat him in the debates, he wouldn’t be able to bully her, he wouldn’t be able to nickname her and she is beloved.

What’s the chance Michelle Obama will play the role of savior?

Seems that after Democrats on stage last night trashed her husband’s key policies on Obamacare and immigration, the notoriously thin-skinned Mr. Obama must be furious. It’s bad enough when Trump vows to erase the Obama legacy, it’s worse when Democrats pledge to do so also.

I have little doubt that Michelle Obama doesn’t want to run for or be president, as she has stated. Or that if asked today, she’d still say no.

But when the huddled masses, including her husband, turn to her and plead with her to save them from Orange Man Bad, don’t count it out.

A whiny loudmouthed, unaccomplished bozo who could not punch her way out of a bag known as ‘college’ without affirmative action help. Nor could she hold a job afterwards.

Her greatest accomplishment in life was starving American children in her pathetic ‘school lunch’ program, all while she took million dollar vacations (at taxpayer expense), ragged on our country and courted the likes of al sharpton.

We can’t even figure out if this idiot is really a woman.

Yes, mooooooooooooochelle obama will come riding to the rescue: as a mule.

I made Professor Jacobson’s point today in an earlier post on another thread. Those of us “Insurrectionists” who follow the Professor are educated people who typically have a lifetime’s worth of experience and, most importantly, know history. Unfortunately, those aren’t the qualities of the average American voter – and they outnumber us. The major cultural news story trending today is the “thoughtful, reflective and beautifully curated” advice Michelle gave Duchess Meghan about being a mother. Gag if you will, but this is what young progressives eat up. They’re much less concerned about reality than ‘feelings’. And one other point to consider: The Obama machine is ruthless. Remember Jack Ryan’s experience against Barack in the U.S. Senate race in Illinois? The Obamas will stick in that knife and gut you like a fish; they’d fillet Joe Biden in a nanosecond if it suited their purpose.

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to RNJD. | August 1, 2019 at 7:28 pm

Michelle will drive the last nail in the Democrat’s coffin.

Oh, and I believe I read tens of thousands of Michelle’s book were bought by some firms that specialize in doing that so unpopular books can be rigged on to the best seller list.

I know that is how Valarie Jarrett’s book got on the NYT best seller list.

Sure both had to be immediately “remainder” on day one.

Free State Paul in reply to TheFineReport.com. | August 1, 2019 at 9:09 pm

    You’re all delusional.

If Michelle were to run (a BIG if) she’d win in a landslide.

And it would be white, suburban, RINO Soccer Moms who’d put her over the top. Opra’s audience.

fishstick in reply to Free State Paul. | August 2, 2019 at 6:11 am

I’d bet this is the same guy who repeated in 2016:

“Trump has no path to 270”

Hillary was suppose to win in a landslide too

the problem Michelle Obama would have in the election cycle is the same Hillary would have – lack of any real credibility

plus she still represents the crazy Left who have really gone off the deep end since Trump’s 2016 victory

THAT all won’t change because Obama’s first lady is running

there is also something that would work against the Obama camp in another presidential cycle – President Trump

it is much harder to run against the incumbent

especially when the movement that got him elected has the same air of popularity it did almost 4 years ago

would it be enough to win Michigan again – likely no

but Trump was very close in states like Minnesota and Nevada

and that was after nearly 2 years of voters hearing “Trump can’t win!” over and over and over

the big thing that I think alot of people aren’t talking about which could affect the election cycle in a landmark way for the Republicans is if AG Barr starts prosecuting the former Obama camp officials for acts against the Trump campaign and transition team

I’m still not sold if Barr is going to go through it – I mean the fact he hasn’t brought a charge against Hillary is worrisome – but if trials start to pop out in the coming year with figures in the Obama administration on trial

THAT would be a HUGE blowback to the Democrats in an election year

and Trump survived and even picked up a Senate seat or two when that same scenario was working against him

This beast has two poses: ignorant snarling animal or smiling idiot.

The ignorant snarling animal is real. The smiling idiot is a veneer so thin, it will be blow right off upon the first challenging question. She/he/its credibility would vanish like a donut set in front of that malignant pig Moore.

As frightened as suburban white women allegedly are of Donald Trump, Michelle Obama would give them night terrors.

What about her “Diversity” job grift in Chicago. She made $350k. Nice work if you can get it.

Let Them Eat Kale.

They’re headed towards a brokered convention, which used to be more the rule.

Tom Servo in reply to maxmillion. | August 1, 2019 at 6:20 pm

I don’t think a brokered convention can happen today. It made sense in the days when there were powerful party bosses who each had hundreds of delegates in their pockets, and they could go into the proverbial smoke filled room, cut a deal that gave everyone something they wanted, and walk out with a nominee. We don’t live in that world.

So what happens if they go in to the convention with no firm nominee? Absolute Chaos – 1968 will look like a picnic by comparison.

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to Tom Servo. | August 1, 2019 at 8:05 pm

      Agreed.

The Uni-Party/Media/Education Industrial Complex has bred millions of extremely selfish-to-the-max Democrats!

If they can’t have it all, they prefer to burn ‘er down!

If they don’t coalesce after super tuesday (now with California), and I think the DNC won’t do superdelegates on the first ballot, it could be a very messy convention. There was almost an insurrection by the Bernie Bros in 2016.

First, Moore was much better at realizing Trump was good. Michelle-Oprahbama isn’t a tough business savvy woman (Liz Cheney 2024 – she isn’t her Father, but is tough and is #3, if you want a possibility, not an endorsement).

The problem is the Squad has split the Overton window so if you don’t agree to free cadillac care for illegal aliens, you’re out. The only actual threat would be from someone like the Governor or Montana (or the one from Washington) that has to be a centrist.

Even beyond that, someone like Gabbard or Wang might have a chance but you can see what is happening.

The most interesting thing is Trump has reversed the emotional button pushing. The Democrats would scream racist! or somesuch and the GOP would run away. Now Trump tweets something true but provocative and the Democrats completely lose it along with the media. They keep running toward the cliff like lemmings (don’t), and when they slow down, Trump presses the resume button.

“Save me, Obi-wan Obama! You are our only hope!”

She might want to wait for 2024 to ride to the rescue. They may fume as Trump rolls, but Trump isn’t as naturally as good at succession planning and is a very tough act to follow.

As good and popular as she is, presidential races are also about timing. Maybe her time is now, but if she runs now she also owns everything that comes out of the current investigations under Barr.

If she does run, I hope she gets crushed and Obama’s legacy goes down with it.

Thing is she doesn’t come across as beung as needy as her husband. The thing is though, will she be able to resist herself??

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to mailman. | August 1, 2019 at 8:08 pm

You see, my take is just the opposite.

Why else did she take out of the country vacations almost every month – or more frequently?

Then, also – in addition too – maybe the Democrats encouraged that so as to keep her out of public view.

And then there’s some serious journalism over at Atlantic Magazine: “Trump Is in an Abusive Relationship With America” by IBRAM X. KENDI

Do any of these people ever listen to themselves? Probably not, or they’d realize how deranged they sound.

He doesn’t care about sounding deranged anymore than any other scammer does in acting out their scam.

There’s money at the end of the scam rainbow, if you jump aboard early enough. It’s called an ‘obama stimulus’ – three of them, at 873 BILLION apiece.

Kinda like Uncle Tom Cummings and the 18 billion that came into baltimore and wound up in his pocket.

She’s making too much money in the private sector to run.

I don’t disagree that they WANT her to run.

I absolutely don’t agree that she WILL run, though.

She’s not a genius by any stretch of the imagination, but she understands that she has accomplished nothing in her life except be married to Barack ‘The Sainted One’ Obama.

Liberals don’t want her. They want Barack back. They’ve convinced themselves that she’d be the same, and everything would be sugar and rainbows.

She’s not going to run.

The Desiderata “Everything is unfolding…” similarities are creeping me out.

https://youtu.be/PNq_DTmVCWs

She won’t run, but if she did it would likely be a disastrous effort. The talents of your spouse are not transferable. Ask Hillary.

RNJD in reply to danoso. | August 1, 2019 at 6:21 pm

Hillary is one of the most disliked people on the planet. A recent poll lists Michelle Obama as the most admired woman in the world. That causes me extreme nausea, but we dismiss her at our peril. Like it or not, Michelle has a cult following and liberals/moderates would vote for her by the tens of millions.

Free State Paul in reply to danoso. | August 1, 2019 at 9:18 pm

    I agree with RNJD.

If Michelle entered the contest late in the game, she wouldn’t be spattered with mud. Then all she’d have to do is act like the anti-Trump: sweet and ladylike and surrounded by children and puppies. Mouth a few Democrat platitudes and she has it made. She’d be kryptonite for Trump’s campaign style.

She’d drive turnout among blacks, women and Millennials through the roof.

tom_swift in reply to Free State Paul. | August 2, 2019 at 4:03 am

She’d drive turnout among blacks, women and Millennials through the roof.

So it’d be the 2016 election all over again, and for the same reasons. And the same results.

Actually, I expect she’ll be no more successful with the women’s vote than Hillary, and less successful with the black vote. She’d have Millennials sewn up, but any leftist would.

And this is one of the biggest reasons why the Dem candidates are suddenly attacking Obama. It’s not about Biden per se. It’s about killing two birds with one stone. The Hillary threat is a non-starter but would really gum things up if she insists on going for broke.

In any event, I don’t see any candidates that can beat Trump. Or even make it close. For the Dems, this is about getting ready for 2024 and it would be better that they kill the Wookie threat this year.

Antifundamentalist in reply to Pasadena Phil. | August 1, 2019 at 6:28 pm

Someone is going to win the nomination. And the whole DNC bandwagon is going to get behind them on the platform of “Defeat Trump At All Costs.” It could be enough once they stack the poll station volunteers and rig what they can rig.

I am listening to Trump’s speech in Ohio right now. You are being lulled into fear because so far, all we’ve heard non-stop is the commie propaganda. Trump is just getting started campaigning and he just cuts right through the commie BS so easily.

It doesn’t matter if they had 50 presidential candidates all running on the same 1% issues who would join together in one solid, unified campaign. They are trying to sell cancer. Trump is selling the cure. Again. Don’t waste your energy quavering in fear. The Dems have NOTHING.

REMEMBER: obama was elected for eight years. He’s no different than any of the leftist pscyhos running, except the ‘cat’ on him was not out of the bag, nor was the rampant fraud of the democrat/media complex.

The scam of ‘barack hussein obama’ is akin to the maddoff scam: it’ll be generations before it can be repeated.

Unfortunately Defeat Trump at all costs is the only platform the Dems can present, along with the promise of more backbreaking unsustainable social welfare programs.

Hmmm, on second thought it could work!

I’m at a rest stop on the NJ Turnpike. CNN is on multiple TVs and the slanted coverage seems to be what people here are believing. The idiots debating may indeed be idiots, but that doesn’t mean one of then can’t win. Not when there are millions of people who believe what they’re seeing on CNN.

This is not the time to become complacent.

I don’t think Moore really has his thumb on the pulse of the modern Democratic party. He’s been saying for months that the DNC and the candidates are pushing some seriously destructive ideas, but the rest of them just don’t want to hear it; his admonitions don’t seem to have influenced anyone else in the least. This idea probably has as little Party appeal as most of his others.

She would beat him in the debates, he wouldn’t be able to bully her, he wouldn’t be able to nickname her and she is beloved.

Every one of these is a fantasy. Moore may not know it, but she probably does. And she personally gains nothing she doesn’t already have by running or even by winning.

Sooooooo….. because of her skin color, or because of her sex, or because of both, she can’t be criticized or nicknamed. . . .

Sooooooo…….basically she would be the affirmative action candidate.

Just like John McCain – he was P.O.W., you can’t criticize him. No thanks. Which, I’m sure Steve Scalise is a “fine man,” but I don’t want him as House Speaker — NO one, that can’t be criticized… Enough of this inept and/or vicious untouchables.

Assuming you’re not a snake handler, ask the nice church ladies where you worship if they’d vote for Michelle.

Subotai Bahadur | August 1, 2019 at 6:28 pm

I think interesting times are upon us. I fully expect open political violence, deadly violence, from the Left before the election and definitely afterwards either way. In both parties, it is largely lip service as to the rank and file being part of the nominating process, but with the Republicans despite the best efforts of the GOPe the rank and file are happy with the incumbent. The Democrat-Socialists are playing the game, but eventually their Nomenklatura will pick the candidate regardless. It may not be one of the ones running today. A brokered convention will be a coronation.

As the American Social Contract collapses, especially as related to politics, the resulting crisis of legitimacy is going to mean that the only alternative to the moot law and accepted political procedures; i.e. violence, will become the norm.

I’m just not seeing it. She maybe liked but she’s not going to sweep away the field at this point. I don’t think the Dems are panicking. The race is currently Biden vs Warren, with Harris as a long shot. The Dems will be happy with any of them. Michelle is no shoo-in against Trump. He’s already beaten someone the Dems considered their best possible candidate, and he’s not going to back down from the challenge. Nominating Michelle is an admission that no Dem is likely to beat Trump, and wanting to avoid tainting this group with a loss.

I remember Moore saying Trump was a bunch of pissed, old white guys giving the system the finger. Guess what? We’re still pissed.

I am under the impression that Ms. Obummer has a widely accepted nickname, a descriptive nickname, MOOchael. She can expect lots more if she runs, and even more when she loses.

I wonder if she’d take the cut in pay. All their bs about having too much money was only for the little people.

Michelle O is “liked” ?! Only by leftist media…

No sane people like her. Period.

Unfortunately sanity is not an eligibility requirement to vote. That’s the reason Professor J and some of us living among the masses are worried about this possibility. The comment section of this blog tends to be an echo chamber of like-minded people. That ain’t the real world right now.

What’s to keep her husband, that supreme narcissist from making a run at it at the last minute?
The crowds would go deliriously bonkers! And the media would be cumming all over itself.

The Obamas are “liked” as a fashion statement, like one of those ribbons you wear to show how woke you are about some issue. But when you’re in the ballot box, nobody can see.

Free State Paul in reply to Toad-O. | August 1, 2019 at 11:27 pm

And that is exactly why I’m worried. I’m a conservative woman, living in a conservative community, surrounded by nice conservative church-going women who adore Michelle Obama and detest President Trump’s rude and abrasive behavior. I’m not sure it’s the economy or Supreme Court Justices they’d think about when it comes time to fill out their ballot.

Valerie in reply to RNJD. | August 2, 2019 at 2:45 pm

It might help to point out to those lovely ladies that DJT is much more gently spoken than nearly all the Democrats at the national level, although the “news” stories about what he said are quite inflammatory.

That’s how I wound up checking him out. There were news stories saying he was calling for violence at his rallies, and I had a kid that was going to one in our town. (He went to rallies for all of the candidates that he could. ) So I watched a rally he attended, just to find out. I saw DJT handle hecklers maserfully. He made the hecklers part of the show. And he very clearly, very plainly made his wishes known that he did not want his supporters to allow themselves to be provoked into violence.

That was the first of many eye-openers, for me, in part because I saw the news reports on that rally, saying his speech was bombastic and inflammatory. It just was not true.

tom_swift in reply to Free State Paul. | August 2, 2019 at 4:11 am

By that reasoning, Hillary must be in the White House right now.

That’s what the polls told us; but it’s not how women actually voted.

In 2016 54% of women voted for Clinton while only 42% voted for Trump. Are you suggesting that Michelle Obama would get a lower percentage of women’s vote than a truly despicable candidate like Hillary? Especially if President Trump (and any number of the name-callers on this and other conservative blogs) insist on disparaging her physical appearance? Listen, I get it; I don’t want a Democratic President either, especially another Obama. But stop mocking her, because that isn’t an intelligent way to convince moderates and middle-class American women not to vote for her.

          tom_swift in reply to RNJD. | August 2, 2019 at 10:53 am

Are you suggesting that such a percentage of the women’s vote is enough to put a candidate in office?

It didn’t happen in 2016, and it won’t happen in 2020 either.

RNJD in reply to RNJD. | August 2, 2019 at 11:33 am

Tom, I’m suggesting that the margin of President Trump’s victory in 2016 was so narrow in key states, that a very slight increase in women’s / blacks’ / moderates’ votes could change the electoral college in 2020. DJT’s margin of victory: Michigan 10,700 votes; Wisconsin 22,700 votes; Pennsylvania 44,000 votes. If Clinton hadn’t been such an unlikable candidate and just gotten about 77,000 more votes split between these 3 states, she would have won the election. That’s 77,000 out of 136,000,000 ballots cast. All I’m saying is that we can’t be complacent.

Which is exactly why your wife, daughters, nieces and granddaughters will all vote for Michelle. And then lie to humor the stupid old fossil (you).

The Friendly Grizzly | August 2, 2019 at 5:32 am

President Trump will goad, prod, joke about, and bring up Mrs. Obama’s paltry resume. Then, either she, or one of her staph, will – after fighting the urge for two seconds – scream “racism!”.

I don’t know about DJT, but, were I called that, my response would be, “I win! That’s all you have?”

I used too predict that Michelle O was going to run. No longer. I think that she and her husband are having too much fun playing royalty and collecting the millions being thrown at them. Not the time to ruin the party by eventually showing just what kind of angry hateful person that she truly is. How much money they have now? 150 million? More, more

Michelle Obama would be a worse train wreck then her vaunted, but non productive, husband. In my opinion hates white America and does little to hide it.

On top of that she has no real business experience which can only be detrimental to the country’s economy. The same can be said with regard to foreign relations which can only lead to subtle breaks with our friends and isolation from out enemies.

I’d also expect, as with most Democratic candidates, a bevvy of social programs that would accomplish nothing more than more unsustainable debt and the further erosion of the middle class that originated during her husband’s presidency.

A president has to have more than a celebrity presence like the Obamas, or haven’t the DNC and their blind partyline voters figured that out yet?

We have seen 4 years of economic growth that we haven’t seen since the post WWII boom, solidified relationships with our friends and respect from our enemies, employment opportunities for all who want to work and hope for our future. Somehow under Michelle Obama I see nothing more than the Obama II, 8 more years
of stagnation, debt, and division.

Everyone on this blog agrees with your arguments. It’s one big echo chamber here. The issue is getting the 38% of American voters who identify as independents (in the latest Pew research poll) to agree with us. Especially since ‘feelings’ are so important these days to so many people. I appreciate your intelligent comment, Fred, because it doesn’t include name-calling, which is truly counter-productive to our cause.

The media bubble that portrays Teh Feeeeelz as paramount in America these days, is an alternate reality that appeals only to the insane. Anyone not already mad who ventures into it, will be.

Let go of the stone and come back onto dry land.

      fredp0444 in reply to RNJD. | August 3, 2019 at 10:35 am

I think just as important as the Indes are those staunch Dems who really can’t vote for the new hard core Liberals and are considering not voting at all. Picking up 25% of those who would consider crossing party lines for what ever reason would be huge for the President.

This is why we need a fair and serious press … which we don’t have.

A Michelle ‘Mike’ Obama candidacy would complete the racial divide the Obama Administration created. However, ‘Mike’ has so many vulnerabilities – “surrendering” a license to practice law, being given a very plush position as a college administrator following Obama’s Senate election, a disastrous school lunch program. Then there is the Big Question: where are pictures of a pregnant Michelle Obama?? Where did the children come from? Is Michelle Obama really Michael Lavonne Robinson?

Texas has a long tradition of widows taking over their deceased husband’s businesses, and sometimes their elective office. In the early days of the State, this might be the only way a woman obtained full business or electoral autonomy.

The Democrats already tried an analogy to this model, because they ran Hillary Clinton for President, in light of Bill’s inability to run, again. They’ve been talking about running Michelle for President for the same reason.

This strikes me as more than a little old fashioned. It just seems wrong for a nation with more than 300M people to turn to a “wife of” type candidate. Does this mean that the Democrat Party is unable to field viable female candidates? Do they have no confidence in any of their women without a man as an anchor?

As Jeb found out the hard way in 2016, America has gotten over political dynasties.

Though, hearing Michelle pleading with her supporters to “please clap,” would be hilarious.

Lucifer Morningstar | August 2, 2019 at 3:22 pm

If Michelle were to run (a BIG if) she’d win in a landslide.

The exact same over-confidence that lost the democrats the presidential election in 2016. What the democrats need is less a celebrity candidate and more of a coherent idea of what in the world they are doing in order to defeat Trump.

Michelle will not run. The window Moore envisions will not open. The Democrats will come out of their convention holding high the shredded, bleeding, twitching near-corpse of their nominee as if they weren’t the ones tearing him/her/it limb from limb mere moments before.

And the President will win re-election.

Maybe Michelle can “save us” from 4 more years of Trump.

But, what can save us from 4 more years of Michael Moore.

Why give Michael Moore any space at all? Surely the beautiful people in the entertainment business look down on this short, unattractive, overweight toad enough to not take his words too seriously.

The only way she’ll be able to be president is if she never has to show up. That’s the only kind of job she’s ever had.

Official campaign slogan:

“Shove it up Trump’s fanny,
Vote for a tranny”

What a talentless fat slob! I am stunned he has not dropped dead of a heart attack. I also hear he smells bad!
