MSNBC host Donny Deutsch went on an astounding rant in which he shattered whatever remaining mirage of unbiased, nonpartisan objectivity the leftstream media clung to in hopes of winning over skeptical viewers.
Deutsch said that “we” (presumably Democrats and their media lapdogs) are “at war” and should do “whatever we have to do” to put “him [Trump] in jail.”

We are playing against cheaters and liars or stealers.””‘When they go low, we go high,'” Deutsch then remarked, quoting former first lady Michelle Obama’s slogan that her party should respond to insults by remaining above them. Deutsch said that wasn’t the way to go.”When they go low, we got to do whatever we have to do,” he said.”We may not have won the battle of impeachment, but we’re going to win the war of putting him in jail, whatever we have to do, and we’re not going to necessarily play fair,” the branding expert added. “For all the intellectuals out there whose hair is going to go on fire, ‘But we’re becoming like them. We’re becoming like them,’ we cannot lose the next election. We will go back 50 years.”

Watching this raised ten kinds of red flags and alarms for me. Here we have a host on a major network declaring “war” on a duly-elected sitting president and effectively stating that there are no rules, no laws, no nothing too extreme in removing him from office and/or sending him to prison. Anything goes in trying to take down President Trump.

Whether Robert Mueller was a mere figurehead or in control, he was a participant. So while he was a sorry figure in the congressional hearings, and his appearance did substantial damage to Democrat and media plans, the gravity of what happened should not be lessened. It almost worked.The media, of course, was a full participant in what happened. Just when you thought the major organizations who control almost all of popular and social media couldn’t get any worse, they do. This all takes place while high tech companies put the thumb on the scale by penalizing non-liberal content.You know where I’m going, don’t you? Dread.
The confluence of the media finally removing its mask (it’s not “slipped,” they have ripped it off and revealed their true horrific visage) and the horrifying implications of an executive branch attempting a coup against our president is, indeed, “almost beyond imagination” dangerous.
As I watched Mueller testify on Wednesday, a part of me felt sorry for him. And I felt that not simply because of his seeming decline in mental agility and physical health but because it seemed to me that he (finally) had some idea that he had backed the wrong side.
He must be aware of the socialist/communist agenda of the 2020 Democrat presidential candidates, and he must have watched in pure horror as the leftstream media moved from “simple” partisan bias to all-out co-coupsters eager to undo the results of the 2016 election “by any means necessary.”
Of course, that sense of pure horror may be projection on my part, but I could have sworn that I saw glimmers of regret and shame as Democrat and Republican representatives recounted and thanked him for his long and patriotic service to our country.
I could be wrong, of course, and Mueller could listen to Deutsch and cherish the apparent call to lawlessness and base, anti-American evil revealed in his tirade. But I somehow doubt it.
