Obama’s DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson: “We Are Truly In A Crisis” At the Southern Border

“I cannot begin to imagine what 4,000 a day looks like. So we are truly in a crisis.”

Jeh Johnson, Homeland Security Secretary for Obama’s administration laid to rest any claims that the situation at the southern border is overblown.

In an interview on MSNBC Friday, Johnson said, “we are truly in a crisis” at the southern border.

JOHNSON: “Well first, Mika, thanks for having me. A little bit of context here. When I was in office in Kirstjen Nielsen’s job at her desk, I’d get to work around 6:30 in the morning and there’d be my intelligence book sitting on my desk, the PDB, and also the apprehension numbers from the day before. And I’d look at them every memory morning, it would be the first thing I’d look at, and I probably got too close to the problem. And my staff will tell you, if it was under 1,000 apprehensions the day before, that was a relatively good number. And if it was above 1,000, it was a relatively bad number and I was going to be in a bad mood the whole day. On Tuesday there were 4,000 apprehensions. I know that a thousand overwhelms the system. I cannot begin to imagine what 4,000 a day looks like. So we are truly in a crisis.”

Acting CBP Commissioner, Kevin McAleenan warned that we’re in the midst of “a border security and a humanitarian crisis.”

In February, more than 76,000 illegal immigrants crossed the southern border.

Disgusting to think about 4,000 illegal, undocumented people coming in every single day. Criminal backgrounds not known, diseases not known, intentions not known, what state and city they’re trying to settle in not known. How many more are coming behind them not known. This has got to stop. Our law and order of society, our healthcare infrastructure, our correctional facility infrastructure, our education infrastructure and our housing infrastructure are all going to implode on themselves. As if they aren’t on the cusp already.

Lay down as much concertina wire as possible, as soon as possible. Repel anyone who tries to mess with it or overcome it.

Use of drone swarms, hundreds of thousands of drones, made up of mostly surveillance drones, but also including at least 20% antipersonnel drones with the capacity to use lethal force.

Those attempting to cross should be ordered to turn back, and if they fail to comply use whatever level of force that is necessary to stop them.

We also need to force all of the 20-30 million illegals currently in America out. Forfeiture of any accumulated assets for criminal activity of entering illegally would go a long way towards recovering at least part of what they have cost America. Also, implement a tax policy to encourage people to have more children.

Apparently this is the week when progressive bills come due.

Illegal ALIENS, not immigrants. Immigration implies legality. Don’t fall for the Orwellian language twists used by the Democrats.

Illegal describes illegality, not “immigrant.” There are legal immigrants, correct? How are you illegal and legal at the same time? The term “resident alien” and “nonresident alien” are used by the federal government to describe foreigners who are here legally.

There is no difference between saying “illegal alien” or “illegal immigrant.” The key word is the one that comes first.

The legal terms, found in the US Code dealing with immigration and Taxation, is based on there being two types of people recognized in the US Code: Citizens and Aliens. Of the latter there are three primary types, as you recognize, Resident Aliens (i.e. those legally admitted for permanent residence, possessing a “Green Card” and legally able to work), Non-Resident Aliens (temporary visitors, often with a Visa) and Illegal Aliens. The terms Resident Alien and Non-Resident Alien come from the Tax Code where Resident Aliens must file tax returns and Non-Resident not.

“How are you illegal and legal at the same time?” is probably the only really stupid thing I’ve ever noted you contributing here. An Alien is legally admitted to the country or is an Illegal Alien. For those who overstay their Visa they can be a legal Non-Resident Alien one day and the day after the termination of their Visa/visit they can be Illegal Aliens. It can not be at the same time.

Immigrant is a non-legal term used to describe a person who has been legally admitted for permanent Resident Alien status.

“There is no difference between saying ‘illegal alien’ or ‘illegal immigrant.’ ” Of course there is, one is a legal term, the other a propaganda term made up by Socialist-Democrats to phase in viewing the Illegal Aliens as the same as Great-Great Uncle Patrick who left the old sod long before both the 1921 Rebellion and the Immigration Act of 1965.

She did not see that coming.

Are these people f**^ed in the head or an I now a a proud owner of the 1942 cook boock for the USN?

It’s a trick question.

Not to worry, Trump is all over it. He’s going to give Obrador a mean nickname.

I don’t know if anyone has ever recommended this before, but why not build a wall?

And yet again today, Democrats are screaming that there’s no crisis at the border

This is B.S.

We have a NATURAL RIGHT to CLOSE THIS DOWN.

Damn it, Trump, just do it, and quit pussyfooting around.

Damn it.

HOW MANY G–DAMN TIMES DO WE HAVE TO VOTE FOR PEOPLE THAT PROMISE TO STOP THIS BEFORE IT ACTUALLY STOPS?!?

GHOST OF MCCAIN, I’M LOOKING AT YOU TOO.

The immigrants could just come right to Massachusetts where Martha Coakley, the former Attorney General, says, “It’s not illegal to be illegal.”

A democrat being…honest about something?

Since Mexico is assisting anyone who wants to invade our country, Pres. Trump should institute a tax on monies being sent there from Mexicans living here.

Mexico even provides tips on getting free services in the form of a comic book. They are complicit in the invasion because they make a lot of money from those living here.
