Greenpeace Co-Founder Rips Ocasio-Cortez Over Green New Deal: “You Don’t Have a Plan…You Would Bring Mass Death.”

Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Greenpeace, tore Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez apart over her Green New Deal, calling her a “pompous little twit” because she doesn’t seem to have any clue what it would take for her plan to work, realistically.

“The problem with @AOC is she doesn’t know whether or not she knows what she is talking about. Makes it harder to think straight,” he wrote on Twitter.

Moore also had words for Ocasio-Cortez when The New York Post pointed out that she uses gas-guzzling cars via Uber and Lyft to travel despite being close to subway stations:

Since declaring her candidacy in May 2017, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign heavily relied on those combustion-engine cars — even though a subway station was just 138 feet from her Elmhurst campaign office. She listed 1,049 transactions for Uber, Lyft, Juno and other car services, federal filings show. The campaign had 505 Uber expenses alone. In all, Ocasio-Cortez spent $29,365.70 on those emissions-spewing vehicles, along with car and van rentals — even though her Queens HQ was a one-minute walk to the 7 train. The campaign shelled out only $8,335.41 on 52 MetroCard transactions.

Ocasio-Cortez and her staff have also logged “66 airline transactions costing $25,174.54 during campaign season.”

Moore called her the “garden-type hypocrite like others.”

Moore “left Greenpeace 33 years ago when they were hijacked by leftists like @AOC.” In fact, Travis Nichols, a spokesman for Greenpeace USA, brushed off Moore’s criticisms because “he doesn’t represent Greenpeace.” Nichols also claimed that Moore did not help create Greenpeace, but admitted that Moore “played a significant role in Greenpeace Canada for several years.”

Moore also slammed the Paris Climate Accord:
