Yes, FAILED Democrat president candidate Hillary Clinton. A man showing anger over uncorroborated accusations of sexual misconduct “deserves a lot of laughter.”
Her comment was mainly against Kavanaugh’s claim that the allegations are “revenge on behalf of the Clintons.”
But there’s no doubt in my mind that the Democrats are playing games because they’re still ticked that their precious Hillary lost.
Sen. “Da Nang Richard” Blumenthal told CNN this morning he wants the FBI to make its report on Kavanaugh public:
“What’s important here are the facts, all of the facts — that’s what the FBI’s investigation is supposed to uncover. That’s why we pressed so hard for it from day one,” Blumenthal said on CNN’s “New Day.”“All facts are relevant potentially. All have to be judged in the larger context. As a journalist you understand that you ask questions and those questions lead to other facts and those facts have to be pursued,” the Connecticut Democrat continued.Blumenthal claimed the FBI is the gold standard of law enforcement and the public should hear what it has to say about the Supreme Court nominee’s case.“[The report] has to be made public in some form because of the overwhelming public interest and the issues of credibility at stake here. The FBI is the premiere law enforcement agency in the entire world and its report should be made public,” he said.Feinstein, a California Democrat, has lobbied to keep the report confidential, but Blumenthal broke ranks and joined Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in pushing for its publication.“Facts have to be followed. The law has to be pursued, wherever it leads,” Blumenthal concluded.
Joe Scarborough blasted the media for its obvious biased coverage on Kavanaugh. From The Daily Caller:
“The media coverage of this has been so one-sided, it has been so biased. There has been the presumption from the very beginning that every single allegation made against the judge was true,” Scarborough said. “And I say this again as somebody who said before the allegations, I didn’t think he should be on the Supreme Court. That this is what happened during the run-up to the Trump election.”“Nobody would even consider the possibility that Donald Trump might win. And so they were shocked by it,” he continued. (RELATED: Joe Scarborough Predicts ‘Devastating’ Results For GOP If It Sticks With Brett Kavanaugh)“Nobody has dared say, even the Republicans, that part of Dr. Ford’s story just might not add up. So you have the complete absence in the mainstream media. You have conservatives saying to each other, ‘But, wait a second. There’s no this, there’s no that.’”—“The media has also given Donald Trump a massive opening because they’ve been so one-sided on this story that it allows him to light dynamite and blow the whole thing up,” he added.“The story should speak for itself. Even in the world of opinion television we should just cover it,” co-host Mika Brzezinski replied.Scarborough stopped the show from going to commercial break to respond to Brzezinski’s comment.“Well, Mika, it has not just been covered,” he said. “And you know what — it’s not been covered and it’s been one-sided,” Scarborough said.“I have turned on all networks at all times and Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of being a serial rapist — a serial rapist by columnists in national newspapers, calling him a serial rapist.”
From Fox News Insider (emphasis mine):
Cassidy: “Why wouldn’t I support Kavanaugh?”Protester: “Because rapists are bad.”Cassidy: “Wait a second — everybody there said that it did not happen. So why am I going to–”Protester: “So you’re going to believe Mark Judge over a woman?”Cassidy: “No, I’m going to believe her best friend.”Protester: “Her best friend didn’t say it didn’t happen. Her best friend said she wasn’t told about it.”Cassidy: “She said she didn’t remember.”Protester: “So you’re OK as a doctor to harm a woman?”Cassidy: “Wait a second – are you OK as a person to go ahead and to accept a non-corroborated charge to destroy someone’s life? If it destroyed your life, your son’s life, or your husband’s? Wait a second, answer my question. If it was your husband, your son, your father, whose life has been destroyed by uncorroborated, would you like that?”Protester: “I would support a full FBI investigation.”Cassidy: “No, no. Would you like that? An uncorroborated charge, destroying—”Protester: “I wouldn’t marry somebody that was a drunk.”Cassidy: “Oh no, wait a second. Uncorroborated. Answer the question. I don’t think you’re able to. Because you know it’s unfair.”Protester: “I would stand up.”Cassidy: “You know it’s unfair.”Protester: “I would fight. And I would make sure women are heard. Clearly you’re OK if a rapist goes on the Supreme Court.”Cassidy: “No, I’m not. But then on the other hand, clearly you’re OK, the absence of evidence obviously means nothing to you.”Protester: “No, there is evidence. Look at the standard. How many people are in jail for less?”
The FAILED presidential candidate (I will never tire of writing that!) has a lot of nerve even speaking about this considering her husband is a womanizer and has numerous rape and sexual assault allegations against him. From Fox News:
“I thought it was just part of the whole of his very defensive and … unconvincing presentation,” Clinton said. “And I told someone later: ‘Boy, I’ll tell you, they give us a lot of credit. Thirty-six years ago we started this against him.’”Clinton’s reaction came during an interview at The Atlantic Festival in Washington, D.C.. She said Kavanaugh’s remark “deserves a lot of laughter.”—“I want the FBI to conduct as thorough an investigation as they possibly can within whatever restraints are imposed upon them,” Clinton said. “But I think, for anyone who believes there’s such a thing as a judicial temperament and that we want judges, particularly those on our highest court, to approach issues, approach plaintiffs and defendants with a sense of fairness, that there’s a lot to be concerned about.”
