Elizabeth Warren misappropriated “the identity of one of the most victimized people in history”

“This is a woman who built her political narrative claiming that other people are rigging the system. She tried to rig her career by claiming a status to which she’s not entitled.”

https://youtu.be/9YW-puh6QrQ

I appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss Elizabeth Warren’s DNA test and the controversy surrounding her claim to be Native American.

I covered the story earlier Elizabeth Warren DNA test does NOT prove she’s Native American, contrary to the hype.

Here is the video of my appearance and a couple of key quotes:

“This is a woman who built her political narrative claiming that other people are rigging the system. She tried to rig her career by claiming a status to which she’s not entitled.”

“Does it really matter whether she benefitted. She tried to benefit. She tried to get an advantage over other people by claiming a status to which she’s not entitled. It’s the worst form of cultural appropriation, or misappropriation, which is a very hot topic in progressive circles. She tried to misappropriate the identity of one of the most victimized people in history, or at least in recent history, which is Native Americans. And progressives seem not to care.”

Comments

I saw the professor on Tucker Carlson’s show, and I blurted out “hey, I sometimes post comments on that guy’s website!”

He’s vaguely aware that I exist!

Not sure what the best part was about that segment, the professor or all the fake Indian names that Tucker kept calling Warren. There was just so much winning!

Colonel Travis | October 15, 2018 at 10:57 pm

Solid appearance on the show, congrats.

When you boil it down like Prof. Jacobson did here, it’s evident how stupid Warren looks. It’s not stupid enough to derail her Senate campaign but it’s stupid enough that the rest of America sees how conniving and disgusting the (D) party has become.

Hillary in 2016 * (Kavanaugh + Warren in 2018) = no blue wave.

Unless something goes haywire, I don’t see how the House or Senate changes parties. Even if the (R)s retain both houses, imagine how increasingly rabid the (D)s will be for the next two years.

No matter what happens in 2018, the left will get worse.

The hilarious part of this is with so many generations removed its legitimately possible that Warren’s actual ancestor IS actually Pocahontas.

What I still don’t get is; Why now? I mean the whole native american thing was pretty much a done deal, everyone just assumed she lied and had left it at that, why do something like this and open up the whole can of worms again?

Must have been to many hits on the peace pipe.

Regarding the 2018 elections, it’s about as politically tone deaf as you can get. I’ve read comments from several (D) party people who were not happy with the timing. For there to be no unbreakable chain of wagon-circling today is telling.

All of her brave opponents for the nomination are gleeful. There are so many of them, who is to come to her defense?

They have those Caravans coming up just in times for the Midterms. The optics area all planned, and the Fauxahontas story might be a distraction. Babies will be torn from loving mothers and thrown into cages.. Just wait.

Seeing the Border Patrol enforce the law* is a net positive for many of us.

        * As Leslie Stahl so pointedly informed the consumers of the MSM’s version of truth, His Imperial Executiveness’ administration did not enforce the law. She’s too dumb/ideological to recognize this contributes to distrust of government and ignoring other laws.

What a nightmare for the Dems. Look at the kooks who are stealing all of the headlines away from the candidates heading into the elections: Hillary and Bill, Fauxcahontas, Porn lawyer Avenatti, Senile Pelosi, Mad Max Waters, Holder…

It’s expensive enough trying to sell cancer without all of these freaks running around the field “naked”.

Yesterday it was reported that Soros, Bloomberg, and Steyer alone have spent over $500 million on this freak show. Warms my heart when I read how much money the Dems are raising only to throw into the bonfire.

Gremlin, it’s very clear she wants to run for Prez. She has to clear it to remove this black mark.

    The Globe is helping her.

Which brings to mind the comment, ” it’s better to allow people to assume you’re stupid than to open your mouth and prove it!”

    Immolate in reply to Gremlin1974. | October 16, 2018 at 10:30 am

It’s obvious that the whole “Fauxcahantus” meme is living large and rent-free in Warren’s head. Hey, our POTUS is fond of the occasional squirrel, but when Warren gets her tinfoil hat tuned into a distraction, there is no dissuading her from pursuing it.

    tiger66 in reply to Gremlin1974. | October 16, 2018 at 11:03 am

My guess is that she knew she was vulnerable as h_ll on this thing, so she decided to just throw it all out there now, rather than wait until 2020 (assuming she’s going to go after the nomination).

She’s dumb. [#1] You know DJT will bring it up. [#2] She keeps doubling down, If she had just hung her head, said she was wrong, and asked for forgiveness/understanding from all, maybe she could get past this. But she took the cork out of this bottle, and she’ll never be able to put it back in.

Native American, my a- -. She’s the finest example of Dem white privilege I’ve ever seen.

    That is all.

Semper Why in reply to tiger66. | October 16, 2018 at 12:07 pm

I wonder if the full-throated “Gee, my family told me so many things that turned out to not be true about my heritage.” apology is planned for her POTUS run. If done correctly, it could be a decent boost to her when the time comes.

    C. Lashown in reply to Gremlin1974. | October 16, 2018 at 12:30 pm

Perhaps the entire scam with DNA was to stick her thumb in President Trumps eye. One of the first things she said was to demand he pay off his bet. If he gives her anything but more grief, then she’ll own him….and cackle every time how she beat the mighty Donald Trump.

Paul In Sweden | October 15, 2018 at 11:09 pm

Very good to see that clip.

thalesofmiletus | October 15, 2018 at 11:44 pm

Less native american ancestry than the average white, yet she persisted.

At least we now know who is the whitest person in America:
    Whiter-than-white Warren.

    oldgoat36 in reply to thalesofmiletus. | October 16, 2018 at 8:21 am

I agree with the good Professor, that the subject of her test results aren’t the biggest issue. Yet, for the optics for the useful idiots who might vote for her, hammering this point that she has less than the average white person of Native Indian in her make up brings her to look foolish for releasing this.

It also needs to be hammered that she was compared to south american natives, so her Cherokee claims are weak.

Plus, despite her claims of it being a blind test, I am doubtful that this is true. I think she shopped around with testing to finally get the result she wanted. I doubt she would have not had a test prior to this year being that it has plagued her for years and these tests and others were available for her to take and quash the talk long before this. You know it has bugged the heck out of her. And she walked into a door now with the late release which still doesn’t offer any real proof, aside from the stealing of a cultural background for her own gains.

Elizabeth Warren misappropriated “the identity of one of the most victimized people in history”

BRAVO!!!!!

Professor Jacobson’s Headline is spot on!!!!!!!

The native American indictment against the Europeans colonialists was consists largely of two related facts: 1) they stole the indian’s land and; 2) they destroyed their culture. Warren’s actions in claiming to Cherokee in order to obtain an employment advantage effectively allowed her to engage in these 16th-19th century crimes, albeit with a late-20th century twist. By claiming a status as an native American, she appropriated for herself social, economic and employment benefits that were intended for native Americans, effectively stealing their property. By claiming to be a Cherokee, she attempts to minimize what it is to be a Cherokee, thereby attacking their culture. Morally speaking, she is, at best, no better than the European colonialists the elite love to condemn.

One apology: I accidentally down voted your post. That was not my intent.

      notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to CV60. | October 16, 2018 at 9:51 am

      No problem.

This Fakey DNA Test (ha ha ha) DOES NOT prove any Native American heritage in Lizzie Borden…er…Warren, BUT….

It Certainly PROVES she IS NOT connected in any way to the First Nations of the Americas…..

Excellent job, Professor J!

More importantly, the wife said you looked good on TV.

I wonder if victim signalling will replace virtue signalling.

Tucker’s show is one of the few remaining where reason and logic form the core of his arguments. I could name a few more but I don’t want to sound like I’m promoting a certain network (((Fox))). I enjoy guests such as Professor Jacobson, they give me hope there is still sanity in some of our institutions of learning. It’s a lot of fun when Tucker causes a leftist to circle their own argument against itself, destroying it like the russian sub in ‘The Hunt for Red October.’ Most of them don’t even see it happening until it’s too late… “You arrogant ass, you’ve killed us!” Hilarious. I guess Tucker Carlson is my CPT Ramius. This elizabeth warren business however, is just sad. I hope she gets the help she needs, she can be the first person documented to recover from TDS.

Red October: Skimmers whipped the bubbleheads… albeit with help from the sub skipper.

You are correct. We enjoy Tucker’s show very much, particularly when he has Mark Steyn on as a guest! I love it when he gives it to the crazy progressives and they don’t know what hit them. Tucker has turned into quite the show host. He occasionally is a bit more liberal than I would like, but hey, that’s his prerogative. It’s still about the only show worth watching.

This is great!

(Too bad the footage of Fauxcahontad had to pollute the interview.)

Bravo! Prof for Pres!

Let me make sure I understand this. She is only 99.9% percent white?
LOL, the perfect Democrat Candidate.

Aarradin in reply to RaiderRay. | October 16, 2018 at 2:38 am

Between 99.99% white and 100% white.

Literally everyone that takes one of those DNA tests will show results this small for a variety of races for which they have precisely zero ancestry.

Aarradin in reply to RaiderRay. | October 16, 2018 at 2:56 am

Correction: The Boston Globe blew it on the math and had to issue an update.

Warren claims she is, at best, 0.0009765625 Indian.

    LOL!!

Worse, the ancestor she claims was part Indian was, instead, 100% white and participated in rounding up Cherokees and forcing them off their land.

“As I pointed out in my article here on Sunday, no evidence supports this claim. O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford had no Cherokee heritage, was listed as “white” in the Census of 1860, and was most likely half Swedish and half English, Scottish, or German, or some combination thereof. (Note, the actual 1894 marriage license makes no claim of Cherokee ancestry.)

But the most stunning discovery about the life of O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford is that her husband, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandfather, was apparently a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee–the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837. […]

These were the troops responsible for removing Cherokee families from homes they had lived in for generations in the three states that the Cherokee Nations had considered their homelands for centuries: Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

While these involuntary home removals were not characterized by widespread violence, the newly displaced Cherokee mothers, fathers, and children found an oppressive and sometimes brutal welcome when they finally arrived at the hastily constructed containment areas.”

Milhouse in reply to Aarradin. | October 16, 2018 at 8:33 am

Yep, it’s like the joke that gets told about various antisemites, especially those who masquerade as “‘as a’ Jews”, that he had an uncle who died in Auschwitz — by falling off a guard tower.

rotten in reply to RaiderRay. | October 16, 2018 at 5:28 pm

Whiter than Ivory Soap. That’s only 99.44% white

If her % qualifies her for status as native american, don’t we all qualify for affirmative action set asides, etc.

Best way to abolish affirmative action – we ALL have special status, therefore we all are more equal that others, therefore we are all equal to theirs. QED.

hey – my husband is enrolled in a Native Alaskan tribe (except it is not “tribes” there, but corporations. I think. CIRI will not talk to me cuz I am not the “shareholder” but my husband has no interest in discovering more). I am seriously considering that my blond-blue white children mark that “native-Alaskan” box on college and scholarship applications…. more so they will not be considered “white” in a hostile college environment than for any actual need for the “privilege.”

DouglasJBender | October 16, 2018 at 7:43 am

So, if it turns out that I am 49% White, 22% Asian, 14% Hispanic, 13% Black, and 2% Native American, does that mean I can consider myself part of four different oppressed minority groups?

At this point, the only thing Fauxcahontas has proven is that she is essentially 100% white. Time to take this in another direction. With those high cheek bones and bobbed upturned nose, she is “obviously” NA (heh heh).

Maybe we have this backwards? Let’s test the NAs to see how much NA DNA they have! Will the NAs themselves test 100% authentic? Add another denominator out there to account for how much white DNA the NAs have and maybe that 1/1024% gets her back in the game! Go for it Liz!

Sorry, just trying to give the “CRAZY!” knob one last turn before it breaks off.

    >> A team of scientists comparing the full genomes of the two species concluded that most Europeans and Asians have approximately 2 percent Neanderthal DNA. <<

    https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/neanderthal/

So, she's probably got around 2% Neanderthal DNA. If I understand this correctly and I am doing the math right, she's got about 20x more Neanderthal DNA than what is represented as Native American DNA.

I think Neanderthals had high cheek bones. I bet nobody at Harvard checked the Neanderthal box. She should have milked her Neanderthal heritage for political/career gain.

This is off topic, but is there any way we can give Josh James a boost? He is running against Debbie Stabenow and it’s a steep hill for him. Looks like he has little funding and isn’t all that well known, but if you read his bio there is a lot to like there.

Mercyneal in reply to MAB. | October 17, 2018 at 6:14 am

He has had a lot of funding and today Kid Rock and Donald Trump Junior are doing an event for James. They had to move it to a bigger venue.

Just a couple of things here.

First human beings will lie, cheat and steal to get ahead. Warren is no exception. That is why we develop societies which usually impose restrictions on such antics, in order to allow diverse people to live together. Warren merely highlights the fact that our society is broken and needs to be fixed.

Second, it is arguable that Native Americans are the MOST victimized people in history. Untold numbers of indigenous peoples have suffered the same fate since the dawn of time. In fact, the peoples of the Americas had been overrun and supplanted by other immigrants to the Western Hemisphere several times before European immigrants arrived to supplant THOSE invaders. While the treatment of Native American tribes, by the United States government, is definitely not our finest hour, it is hardly a historical anomaly.

great interview! He should have the professor on more often.

With all the railing Warren does against the “1%” she has really stepped in it here. She’s the “0.01%” from here on out.

To put that claim of Indian heritage in perspective

https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/9oog23/hilarious/

Two things. One, the DNA subject sample was not native American. It was Columbian, Peruvian and Mexican. There was no native American sample used. So if anything, she is South/Central American at best!
Two, this goes to show how dumb this woman is by beating a dead horse. We all know now that she is going to run in 2020 and was trying to defuse this issue early but in her usual manner, she blew it! Now instead of being a silly joke, it will become her yoke.

This is the reason I signed up for automatic monthly contributions to this blog. You should too!

Time for Plan B: Warren enrolls at Florida State or Central Michigan and declares herself a Seminole or Chippewa and wears a tee-shirt to prove it.

Seems Tucker reads LI. Wonder what his nic is?

I am a documented 13th great grandson of Pocahontas. Does that mean I am a “Native American”?

Actually, I don’t care how you answer that question, because premise faulty. I find the term “Native American” to be racist, as it is commonly used.

“Native American” should mean someone born within the borders of the USA.

With the exception of Pocahontas and her first husband (and maybe one or two less documents people), most of my known ancestors came from Europe. Does that mean I am a “European American”? I object to that term too. My latest arriving ancestor arrived early enough to fight in the Civil War, so I am no more “European American” than descendants of slaves are “African American”!

We are all Americans! Those who wish to divide us into other groups don’t understand what is is to be American and should be ignored or ridiculed, because they don’t have the best interests of America at heart.

Warren’s transparent inauthenticity, mendacity and self-serving machinations are probably only rivaled by crone Hillary’s, on the Dumb-o-crat side.

Next, Warren will be telling us how she always carries around a bottle of hot sauce, in her purse.

What’s funny is that, objectively, Warren’s abjectly contrived ethnic role-playing is vile and indefensible, regardless of whether it’s viewed through the lens of conservative or Leftist frameworks.

To the Left, she is guilty of “cultural appropriation” of a minority status that is not her own; to conservatives, Warren’s machinations and deceit exemplify rank dishonesty in a brazen attempt to game the Left’s victimhood framework and racial spoils system, for the purposes of reaping professional advancement and monetary gain.

Lindsey Graham is taking a DNA test to challenge E.W.’s less than 1% Native American status…That he has more linage via his grandmother to being a Native American than she has in her one blood drop entitlement to being a minority as so claimed. Being he’s from South Carolina and the Cherokee tribes were populous in the Southeast, it will be a popcorn event when he goes back on the Fox and Friends with the reveal of an actual public document he’s willing to share.

Cut Princess Spreading Bull some slack. If Rachel Dolezell can “identify as black” and the NAACP accepts it–heck they made Sweet Rachel the director of their Spokane chapter–then Liawatha can “identify” as Cherokee. Of course the Cherokees are a bit smarter than your average NAACP type—the white part of the NAACP that is.

And the Cherokee Nation isn’t as dumb as your average upper class white SJW–and they’ve told Princess Spreading Bull to take a long hike–they’re not interested in her.

Simple fact that due to the way chromosomes sort, it is possible to lose all DNA from an ancestor in a few generations.

Professor Jackaobson:
So, they finally made you a big star!

I guess we can just call you Hollywood Bill now!
Hey, that is great. Atta Boy!!!

Ok, moving right along.
We should address the margin of error in D.N.A. testing.
We need that factor.
And then, take a look at the tree.
Consider that one started with 100% Indian blood, and thinned it by the full 50% per generation.
How many generations would it require to begin at 100% Indian blood, divided out by halves, to arrive at 2%?
I get 7 generations.
My rule of thumb… 1 generation is 25 years.
So… 175 years to get to her blood percentage.
Now, may we inquire when the first Warren arrived in the new world, and did he or she immediately begin procreating?

Don’t be surprised if Fauxcahontas (or hillary klinton) suddenly claims to be a Holocaust survivor, replete with a number tattooed on their arm.

Even the DNA test was not legitimate. They had no Native American DNA to compare her sample to, so they used Mexican and Central American DNA. All that her test proved was she’s 1,024 Mexican. The Navajo’s keep very comprehensive records of Tribal members and Warren has no ties to them.

I read that Warren used ’23 and Me’ for her DNA testing. I personally wouldn’t use them as they are run Google and take medical info also. Just another thing to be used against people. Oh wait, now Ms. Warren may claim that she is disabled!
