Sen. Ted Cruz quick starts ad war against Democrat opponent Rep. Robert O’Rourke
“If you’re gonna run in Texas, you can’t be a liberal man”
After cruising (yes, I am that cheesy) to an easy primary victory, Sen. Cruz released his first campaign ad targeting newly selected Democrat opponent Rep. Robert (goes by Beto these days) O’Rourke.
Riffing off Alabama’s “If you’re gonna play in Texas”, Cruz’s rendition goes, “If you’re gonna run in Texas, you can’t be a liberal man.”
Cheesy, but cute.
