The Best Planned Parenthood Ad Ever?

The Best Planned Parenthood Ad Ever?

“I wish I could thank her for the role she played in making me a mother.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZUSN5PilQ4

This is the best ad Planned Parenthood, the country’s premier abortion purveyor, has ever made.

“A Grateful Mom” released a few days ago tells the story of Adeline, a woman who went to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. When she arrived to have the baby removed from her womb, she was so distraught, the abortion doctor told her to go home, think about it, and reschedule. But she never rescheduled. Instead, she became a mother and is thankful she chose life.

And yes, this is a Planned Parenthood ad.

The text:

I found out I was pregnant and it was not planned. The most pragmatic option was to get an abortion. I honestly was very conflicted. When I went in to see the actual physician I was a wreck. She took a look at me and said “something tells me that today is not the day. Sleep on it and then reschedule.” I wish I knew her name so that I could thank her for the role that she played in making me a mother.

Planned Parenthood should keep making ads about women who are proud of choosing life and highlight the stories of those grateful for motherhood. It’s probably bad for their business, but it’s a win for the sanctity of life.

Adeline chose life over “pragmatism” and that’s always a story worth telling. Even if it’s a frantic response to President Trump’s latest pro-life initiative halting federal funding of international abortion organizations.

It doesn’t take a weatherman to see which way the wind is blowing.

Indeed. This is what happens when you fight back. The other side has to take time to turn around and defend its position instead of racing as far to their side as they can.

It’s a ploy to say they don’t push abortion.

There’s a very simple solution for PP. Split into two non-profits: one for everything but abortion and one for abortion. Make the abortion NP private and take donations. Receive both govt and private donations for the other center.

Problem solved…unless 3% is not the actual cost spent on abortion and they are using accounting musical chairs to cover the real cost.

I have also suggested spinning off the abortion services from the other health services. The reason they wont is that abortion is a huge profit center for PP. I then get the response that they are a non profit and therefore they dont have a profit center.

So, how much Federal assistance does PP really need to not perform abortions?

Not a lot, I’d guess.

So they’ll be able to keep on providing that non-service no matter what the White House does to the river of cash.

Cool. Sounds like a winning strategy all around.

The argument I always hear is they do SOOOOO much more than perform abortions that abortions are just a tiny tiny sliver of what they do.

If true, they can stop it, or stop getting federal funding.

It MUST have taken some really frenzied data-base searches to find that young lady…

If you like that, you have to ask yourself … what side are you on?

So that’s one child not aborted out of how many? Easy to hold up the lone outlier and claim that this happens all the time – but since it doesn’t happen even once in a while, the ad is untruthful at its core.

Posted in the Reader’s Forum yesterday about a group that called PP for prenatal care and out of 97 offices only 5 offered the service.
Somewhere on that site if you go to it, the figure they got using PP info was less than 1%.
As stated above, the winds are blowing back and they need to pretend they’re a baby caring org now rather than a killing compound.

The twilight fantasy recedes with the dawn. Many acted foolishly, but no one was actually fooled.

Nice of PP to chose a good looking Asian woman for their video when at least 1/3 of their “customers” are African American.

you’re not implying that PP is RAAAAAAAycist are you ?

    no it can’t be so.

Blacks comprise only 13% of the population of America but account for 37% of all abortions. Black women are five times more likely to abort than white women. 69% of pregnancies among Blacks are unintended, while that number is 54% among Hispanics and 40% of pregnancies among Whites.

Well, when you have had access to the NSA’s data mining for the last eight years, anything is possible.

Great propaganda piece to soften their image of being a baby part chop-shop. This C.S. Lewis quote comes to mind.

“I live in the Managerial Age, in a world of “Admin.” The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid “dens of crime” that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voices. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern.””

I woman I worked with was severely reprimanded and nearly lost her job for showing any emotion when a girl told her she wanted health insurance to get an abortion. That is how PP can say they do not provide abortions in my state. Any pregnant woman can get insurance so pp gives them the test and routes them to the abortionarium.

This gentle wonderful woman gasped when the girl asked for the insurance. Later, the girl came back with a beautiful girl and thanked my friend. It broke my heart to think that baby could have been dead, chopped up for parts and sold like an animal carcase.

Sure they handed out free condoms too but my agency paid for it, provided the bowl for the dang things and restocked it for them.
