Mika Shockingly Scorches Elizabeth Warren: ‘Tired of this Act,’ ‘Shrill, Almost Unhinged’

Mika Shockingly Scorches Elizabeth Warren: ‘Tired of this Act,’ ‘Shrill, Almost Unhinged’

Mika: This Reminds Me of Republican Obstructionism Eight Years Ago, ‘Except Now It’s Democrats Doing It’

Early in this presidential election cycle, Mika Brzezinski was a big Elizabeth Warren booster, repeatedly urging the Massachusetts senator to throw her hat into the ring. So it was nothing short of stunning to see Brzezinski go on a blistering attack against Warren on today’s Morning Joe.

The segment began with a clip of Warren in essence declaring war on Republicans, claiming Dems had won more presidential and senatorial votes, and declaring that they didn’t intend to “whimper, whine or grovel.” Wondered Mika: “do you lead with anger? . . I am getting tired of this act.” “There’s an anger there that was shrill . . . unmeasured and almost unhinged. It’s not going to work.”

Mika went back on the attack a bit later, accusing Warren of the same kind of obstructionism for which Dems condemned Republicans during the Obama years. “This reminds me of eight years ago except now it’s the Democrats doing.”

To understand the depth of Mika’s despair, catch her prolonged sigh and head bow just after the Warren clip concludes.

ELIZABETH WARREN: Republicans are taking over Congress, they are taking over the White House, but Republicans do not have majority support in this country. The majority of voters supported Democratic Senate candidates over Republican ones, and the majority supported a Democratic presidential candidate over a Republican one. The American people didn’t give Democrats majority support so we can come back to Washington and play dead. They didn’t send us here to whimper, whine, or grovel.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: [deep sigh] Yeah-h-h.

. . .

JOE SCARBOROUGH: And you have Elizabeth Warren stepping out and basically looking like she’s going to be the de facto head of the Democratic party nationally.

MIKA: Do you lead on anger, though? Because that doesn’t seem very constructive to me. I gotta tell you. I love her; I’m getting tired of this act.

WILLIE GEIST: She’s definitely giving voice to the people in the party and IN the country who think Donald Trump is a disaster. She’s going to be out every day going after them.

MIKA: Yeah, well, you know what? There’s a huge part of the country that doesn’t think so and she might want to be a little inclusive because she is sounding like the people she is accusing of as being exclusive. I mean she’s just got to stop. I’m sorry. It’s getting exhausting. And this did not help during the campaign. It wasn’t. There’s an anger there that was shrill and a step above what it needed to be, unmeasured, and almost unhinged! It’s not going to work. At some point we have to look at what happened and look at the people we lost along the way.

. . .

MIKA: And why I’m so critical of that sound bite, and every other rant I’ve heard, is it’s not showing listening, it’s not showing learning, that there was something to be learned, and by the way, the beginning of a new presidency, isn’t the first thing, isn’t the first thing that should happen out of the box is: we look forward to working with Republicans, we support the new President-elect, and we hope to move forward together and find things we can agree on.

Isn’t that the example that Democrats have accused Republicans of not holding up to, for eight years of being vitriolic against Republicans for being so difficult, for trying to bring Obama down from day one. Boy! This reminds me of eight years ago except now it’s Democrats doing it, in a very heated, unmeasured way.

Mika occasionally says something that is worthwhile.

The American people didn’t give Democrats majority support so we can come back to Washington and play dead.

The American people did NOT give Democrats majority support.

Either Fauxahontas does not understand how our democracy works, or she’s the vilest liar on this country.
I think I will go with both.

LCVRWC in reply to Exiliado. | November 29, 2016 at 10:09 am

Sorry, but I’d still have to give Shillary the title of Vilest Liar in All the Land.

liberalinsight in reply to LCVRWC. | November 29, 2016 at 12:55 pm

And LCVRWC, that says vastly more about you than the big H.
Show me one fact check web site from the Right or the Left, that claims that Hillary the candidate lied more of the time than any Republican presidential candidate—-ever—– to run.
My goal is not to send you on an endless search for what obviously is not there, but that I already know you will NEVER look because you simply do not care about facts that do not support your gut feeling.
And it is people like you who still think P.T. Barnum is a mythical individual why Trump is going to be President. P.T. Barnum famously described you as “there is a sucker born every minute”.

Jack Klompus in reply to liberalinsight. | November 29, 2016 at 2:03 pm

Shrill, delusional, stupid, pompous, obnoxious, and utterly clueless – you’ve got it all! Dance monkey, dance. Twerps like you continue to provide endless, cost-free entertainment.

There is no more profound and consequential liar currently in this country than Hillary Clinton.

Leaked private speech, Clinton: “You Need Both A Public And A Private Position”

        Putin confirms.

The most profound and consequential lie of all has been her deliberate campaign of violence against American voters, for the purpose of blaming DJT.

        It was deliberate.

        It involved the DNC

        It extended to other groups

        It extended to other Republicans

        The whole staff was involved
The first Project Veritas video shows staff admitting Hillary paid for training the homeless, the elderly infirm and the handicapped to start violent fights at Trump rallies as part of a criminal organization of political terrorism.

You are misnamed. No Liberal would ever tolerate violence against Americans for political purposes. Further, you lack the insight to recognize that your candidate is a criminal that has been thoroughly busted.

Show me one fact check sight that is not a liberal Shill , Wapo Snopes , Politifact.
All engage in strawman arguments and lightly brush off Hillary’s comments while literally using Trumps quotes where he was clearly exaggerating for effect

Walker Evans in reply to liberalinsight. | November 29, 2016 at 9:36 pm

You may be right; perhaps Trump did lie more than Clinton, but in this as in all other things context matters:

        1) Hillary did indeed deny numerous requests for enhanced security at the diplomatic compound in Benghazi and then denied that she denied them.
        2) She sent an email to her daughter on September 11, 2012, talking about the terrorist attack at that time underway in Benghazi, labeling it as such, and noting that it was planned.
        3) She spent days afterward telling the public that it was a spontaneous reaction to a video defaming Mohamed.
        4) She repeatedly said there was nothing wrong or illegal about her private server and even if there was, she had permission to use it, and other SoS’s had done the same thing.
        5) She repeatedly stated, at least once under oath, that the only emails she deleted were personal ones, having nothing whatsoever to do with government business.
        6) She claims that she dealt with no classified email while SoS. This is absurd on its face, as the job involves dealing with mostly classified information, much of it passed (or supposed to be passed) via secure government servers. If it is true, what was she doing for all that time when we were paying here to be our SoS?

Let me look at those in order:
        1) It is a fact that many requests for increased security were received in Foggy Bottom and denied; it is a fact that Hillary was involved in those decisions, and; it is incontrovertible fact that she lied about all of this.
        2) No actual lie here, but proof of the rest.
        3) The email to Chelsea makes it clear that she was fully aware this was a well planned terrorist attack, carried out on the anniversary of the attack on WTC. Still, all she talked about for a week was that silly, amateurish video.
        4) Her SBS (Secret Basement Server) was in fact a violation of not only State Department regs, but also federal regulations that apply to all government agencies and employees. She has tried to say that she had “permission” to do this but there is no evidence to support this. She has also claimed that other SoS’s did the same and advised her to follow suit, but they have flatly denied any such statements.
        5) Thanks to Wikileaks we have proof that the vast majority of the emails she deleted were in fact government business.
        6) What can be said about this one? It is either a lie of massive proportions, or an admission that she was totally incompetent in the job. Or perhaps some admixture of both?

[NOTE: I spent some forty years in government service, the last thirty-six involving the daily exposure to, preparation of, and response to classified materials of many levels; therefore, I speak from a position of experience. If I had done even the smallest of the things that she has admitted to I would have spent at least a couple of years in prison and had fines levied that I would be paying off for the rest of my life.]

He may have lied more, but hers were definitely more egregious.

liberalinsight in reply to Walker Evans. | November 30, 2016 at 1:26 am

Detailed response, thanks. Everybody lies. I agree she logged on to the wrong email server.
Nothing criminal about denying an additional funding request from an embassy. She did leave the Sos office, what do you want?
You have a knack for understatement. Lets have a war of web sites, I will start with politifact who claims not only did Donny lie (pants on fire is what they label deliberate lies) 38% of the time, of the hundreds of statement of fact made by T. Rump 74% were false, the rest half true or true. Ben Carson actually beat him with an unbelievable 84%. The Big H had pants on fire 11% and mostly false 26%.

So, since the voter input part of the election is over, it is useless to defend T. Rump by attacking Big Hillary. He lied then 75% of the time and you can bet your Right Wing bottom that he is lying 75% of the time TODAY.

You guys have been and continue to be duped by Fox Views and T. Rumps opinion represented as fact machine.
Ya need to get out more.

Oh, that one’s easy. Must I do the easy work for you? Here, Child, hold my hand we’ll cart off to YouTube — to keep this easy, so easy even a liberal can understand it. (The problem is we must actually listen to her intolerable voice of a hag.) Here we go:

        [hillary clinton lies]

        * Hillary Clinton lying for 13 minutes straight.

        * Trey Gowdy Dismantles Every Hillary Clinton Lie

        * Hillary Clinton LYING UNDER OATH, clear grounds for PERJURY

        * Hillary Clinton: ‘Serial Liar’ – Lying Compilation

        * Hillary Clinton’s debate lies

        * 70 minutes of Hillary Clinton lies!!!!

And more, so much more. Interested? Of course not. Because then you’d have to actually think and that’s unseemly for Democrat supporters. It disrupts their, your, fragile world view, stacked as cards, as it were.

    Now wait a moment.

In all analysis, Sen. Warren is TECHNICALLY correct. A ~majority~ of voters did vote for Democrat candidates (aka “the popular vote”).

HOWEVER – Our nation is not a “democracy.” Our governmental structure is a “Representative Republic.” The “popular vote” only means something in the most abstract sense that the individual states (and subdivisions thereof) involved separately choose who will represent them in a government balanced by each of those districts having their own equal voice, REGARDLESS of the population density of that district.

Sen. Warren is making the argument which will resonate with the Low-Information-Voter. That the Majority of voters supported Democrat candidates, and because of that, the Democrat Party MUST fight tooth-and-nail to overcome that ~structural~ power shift.

liberalinsight in reply to Chuck Skinner. | November 29, 2016 at 1:08 pm

Chuck Skinner, her goal is not to change the system to a fairer one. But argue that Republicans stole the election fair and square.
She is not saying that T.Rump was not elected, she is suggesting that he represents a small minority of Americans and has no mandate to lead.
Lizbeth wants to paint T. Rump as so corrupt, so inept, so ignorant, so petty, that no Republican wants to be seen on the same stage with him, splitting the party into 30 factions.
She can see that T. Rump values loyalty more than anything, he only has to punish for disloyalty and sideline 4 Senators to give Democrats a majority.

Please examine carefully Exiliado’s statement and that my statement was a response to his claim (which was overbroad from a technical standpoint).

Please also read carefully my statement. I was not suggesting that Sen. Warren was trying to make the system a “fairer one.” Quite the opposite. I was making an observation that Sen. Warren is playing to the Low Information Voter (LIVs, if you will), in an attempt to rally support to oppose Trump administration in such a manner that it does not get her branded as an “obstructionist.”

Now, the Main Stream Morons are unlikely to so label Sen. Warren. However, the Main Stream Morons have been losing market share to the Conservative Media for years, and the Conservative Media has no issue what-so-ever with branding Sen. Spewing Bull with the label befitting her likely opposition to all things in the next administration.

In short, Sen. Warren is attempting to make “the other” argument (they are not OUR people, so we should oppose them) in support of the mischief she will be making.

She can see that T. Rump values loyalty more than anything, he only has to punish for disloyalty and sideline 4 Senators to give Democrats a majority.

I think that you overestimate (vastly, in my opinion) the likelihood that any significant number of Senators are likely to switch parties to give the Senate to Democrat control. In fact, you have to reach all the way back to 1896 to find a year when so many Senators switched parties in any given Congressional Session, and in the last 110 years in any given session only ONE Senator has changed parties.

Jumpin-Jim-Jeffords cowardly and treasonous switch in 2000 is actually the only switch that changed the control balance of the US Senate.

The likely backlash from such an action would make the 2010 Tea Party wave look like a ripple in a puddle as the public surged to destroy the Establishment wing of both the Republican and Democrat Parties. The public would be helped along with a healthy dose of rhetoric from President Trump about how the public should throw out all the bums. Those switching would certainly be toast. Likely a lot of the RINOs would be shoved out with them, tarred and feathered with the same “well, if THESE Senators did it, let’s get rid of these OTHER Senators who ~might~ do so.

BornLoser in reply to Chuck Skinner. | November 29, 2016 at 9:29 pm

Actually she isn’t even “technically” correct since the Democrats received a plurality, not a majority of the votes in the 2016 US Presidential election.

Other than that one detail, I think your analysis is spot-on.

Not legally they didn’t. How many illegals? How many felons? How many double voters? How many dead voters?

We won’t even get into the parasite vote. People who have zero vested interest in the country, save screeching for a government check.

No, Warren, you got a majority of nothing. Except fraudulent votes.

Lanceman in reply to Exiliado. | November 29, 2016 at 10:23 pm

Much like the lie of the Clinton Surplus™, repeat a lie that the majority of Americans want democrats and it eventually becomes true.

Somebody needs to hit this bitch nationally on this mindless lie, lest it fester.

The majority of voters supported Democratic Senate candidates over Republican ones

A mysterious statement. Is she claiming that this is another effect of the Electoral College? If so, she is indeed unhinged.

Ragspierre in reply to tom swift. | November 29, 2016 at 10:00 am

Well, sort of. It’s a left-footed attack on our republican form of government vis the Senate.

It’s true within itself, and patently stupid at the same time.

Millions more people vote for senate candidates from Kulhifornia (Deemocrats) than from smaller states who elected Rs.

I don’t know whether she is making that claim, but she is unhinged.

Only a third of the senate seats were up for a vote at all. So the senate seat vote totals mean precisely bupkis. Every house seat, as always, was up.

Luapious in reply to tom swift. | November 29, 2016 at 12:13 pm

It has always been part of the democrates game plan to convert us from The United STATES of America to The United ELECTION DISTRICTS of America.

The Constitution, eh, who needs it.

She is for sure what we have been told by Hollywood since forever. White eyes speak with forked tongue. But then she may actually be an Indian by the name of Screaming Buzzard. Either way she should just STFU.

Ok. On a related topic. On CTH they have a topic which is headed by the live stream Trump Tower Elevator Cam. According to the comments Mika just got in.

Of course what is being lost here is how the Republicans tried to work with Obama for nearly a year before they gave up. After a year of disrespect, insultings, and so forth, it was clear Obama had zero interest in working with Republicans because Obama had a majority in the House and Senate and “elects have consequences”.
To hear them now, the MSM and Democrats would have you believe that Republicans refused to work with Obama from day one when that clearly was not the case.

It is obvious that she has never been a team member or played a sport with teammates. Just like on any team the players elect their captain and that’s it. The loser does not go into a rant and show uncontrolled anger. It is the team that’s important not the individuals. This woman will never be a team player and it will become obvious to all Americans after watching her for the next four years! She is all about herself and power.

We are going to be subjected to this behavior from Democrat politicians and other liberals for the next 4 years. People should just ignore it.

Since the 1920s, the progressive agenda has been running nicely in this country. It is a very simple agenda. It is designed to strip the common man of power and invest it all into the hands of a very small, rich oligarchy which will ultimately control the world. This is not a new idea and is widely shared among communists, socialists, fascists and utopians. And, it is very close to being irreversible in the US, which is still the freest nation on the planet. The progressive/communist/socialists thought that they had finally won. Another four years of the same policies and there would be no turning back, for the US. Then along came Trump and his deplorables.

The progressives know what will happens when jobs expand and people are making money again. The “programs” and promises of the progressives will become pale and hollow. Controlled immigration will shrink the public support rolls and deny the progressives future voters. A successful Trump presidency will set the agenda back 100 years. So, they will do literally anything to keep a successful Trump presidency from coming about. Anything. Whining and obstructionism will be the least of it.

Why are you posting anything to do with Joe and Mika…

Get real…

The Dems have two problems right now.

First, how do they torpedo this election. They’re working on it now. I don’t expect them to give up easily. This election is very important to the Soros/Clinton axis; the major players are too old to wait for another chance in half a decade or so.

Second, what do they do in the future? If they fail to keep Trump out of the White House, their plan to pack the country with voting illegals who will allow them to dominate electoral politics for the next few decades will most likely fail. So they’ll need another reliable voting bloc. Bernie’s campaign may have shown them the way—appeal to the Red Brigades (otherwise known as the Youth Vote). But they’ll have to temper that to retain their oligarchic appeal to their multimillionaire backers, which means Bernie himself will be useless. But a fake Red like Warren might be just the ticket; a cross between the sophmoric socialism of Bernie and the grotesque cynicism of a Clinton. The perfect Progressive.

Thank goodness for her American Indian scam. It will haunt her till the day she dies. Even leftists get turned off when they learn about it.

liberalinsight in reply to tom swift. | November 29, 2016 at 12:38 pm

And it will be idiots on the Right we attack first, the ones who make patently false, bombastic, irrational, claims like yours “pack the country with voting illegals who will allow them to dominate electoral politics for the next few decades” that are so simply disproved. Then we paint all on the Right as equal idiots.

Sure, you will continue to rant, spin your foolishness around your insane asylum echo chamber as one after another patents get well and abandon you. We on the Left do not need all of you, just 5% or so.

    “We Won. You Lost
    Get Over It!”

The reason a lefty useful idiot like Mika says, “tired of this act, shrill, almost unhinged,” is because she just watched a shrill, almost unhinged elderly white woman Democrat lose the election with the same act.

Y’all be gentle with our new lefty trolls as they work the Kubler-Ross grief model in search of a new demigod.
