#DemExit: Bernie Supporters React to #DNCLeaks

Kemberlee reported that leaked emails put out by Wikileaks suggested that DNC scuttled the Bernie Sanders campaign and were targeting his religion as part of their plans.

Hillary probably wishes these email were the ones deleted, as they clearly show that instead of treating Sanders as serious candidate for the Democratic ticket, the DNC worked against him and his campaign to ensure Clinton received the nomination.

One email from DNC Deputy Communications Director Eric Walker to several DNC staffers cites two news articles showing Sanders leading in Rhode Island and the limited number of polling locations in the state: “If she outperforms this polling, the Bernie camp will go nuts and allege misconduct. They’ll probably complain regardless, actually.”Instead of treating Sanders with impartiality, the DNC exhibits resentful disdain toward him and the thousands of disenfranchised voters he could have brought into the party.…The release provides further evidence the DNC broke its own charter violations by favoring Clinton as the Democratic presidential nominee, long before any votes were cast.

Now, instead of #FeelTheBern, many long-time Democrats are burning their party registrations in a movement that is trending as #DemExit.

My personal favorite:

And while #DemExit was born in the wake of the Sanders endorsement of Hillary, the Wikileaks reveal has inspired many to join. The #DemExit tweets were flowing fast as I prepared this post.

However, not all supporters are into #DemExit because they despise “Crooked Hillary”. Investor Adam Townsend, who provides his Democratic membership background in his explanatory post, is #FineWithTrump.

America needs a true leader, not just someone swathed in American iconography and reciting focus group certified slogans. We are anemotionally frail country. A generation of Americans have never known a country not at war, not in debt, not printing money. We have to get out of the state of wardom, spend our money on us and save for our future.

I suspect the Democratic Party’s convention is going to be a lot of fun this year! Pass the popcorn!
