Gallup Poll: Satisfaction Under Obama Is Lowest Since Carter

Gallup Poll: Satisfaction Under Obama Is Lowest Since Carter

I can’t believe it’s that high!

Last week, I noticed the elite media actually looking under the hood at the real “new jobs” numbers for the first time in over 7 years.

Now, Gallup has released a poll confirming the fears that many of us had in 2008: Obama was the second coming of Jimmy Carter.

According to Gallup, Americans’ satisfaction levels with the way things are going in the U.S. are low and President Obama will be leaving office with a lower overall satisfaction average of any president since Jimmy Carter.

Only 29% of Americans are satisfied with the way things are going in the U.S. according to the Gallup poll conducted during the first week of June.

The Gallup poll asked, “In general, are you satisfied or dissatisfied with the way things are going in the United States at this time?”

Americans’ satisfaction has averaged only 24% across the 89 months of the Obama administration to date. The low satisfaction levels of recent years means that Obama will be leaving office with an overall satisfaction average of 24% for his presidency so far. Obama’s numbers are lower than the average measured across the term of any president since Jimmy Carter.

The Obama administration’s numbers are far below the 37% overall average since Gallup began measuring in 1979. Gallup has only three measures of satisfaction taken during the Carter administration, all in 1979, and they average 19%.

Equally of interest is the fact Donald Trump tops Hillary in another Gallup poll of who is “the jobs president” by a wide margin.

In the latest proof that Republican Donald Trump has tapped into the concerns of the working class, Gallup reports Friday that he beats Democrat Hillary Clinton on the issue of jobs.

When Americans were asked who would be the best president on jobs and employment, Trump topped Clinton 52 percent to 45 percent in the latest Gallup survey.

And Gallup editor Frank Newport said that Trump did even better on the question of who would be best for the economy. He wrote that Trump is doing favored because he is more focused on creating jobs.

Interestingly, Trump is using Obama’s own words about Hillary Clinton in a new campaign ad:

Obama, I think, is going to be surprised that Donald Trump isn’t going to roll over like Mitt Romney or John McCain did during their respective campaigns.

Meanwhile, Obama’s final year is proceeding as I expected, in terms of penning as many America-harming agenda items as possible, as well as enjoying “working trips” involving golf, photo-ops, and dictators. The latest Gallup poll may actually be Obama’s high water-mark for this year, as he plumbs the Marianas trenches of satisfaction at the conclusion of this term (222 days from now).

Frankly, given the many disasters we have already covered, I can’t believe satisfaction is even this high!

Yet many on the left will vote in droves for the Queen of Corruption for a third term for Obama.

First time I saw him on TV–Fall of ’06–I saw a scary person. As he campaigned, I laughed…NO WAY our country would elect a destructive, vile communist as president…then after his election, I became very distrusting of people in general. After his reelection I took an early retirement, and now stay to myself and rarely leave the house (except for Mass and groceries). Maybe I’m wrong, but I believe the USA is done. Just like Left-wingers had planned. But one of these days, somebody is going to come looking for THEM.

Because of the people and the Left we will fall just as Europe is falling now. All we can do is pray.

    “Just like Left-wingers had planned.”

I agree if you change Left-wingers to Communists.

I’m an old Cold Warrior and I am more and more convinced every day that the commies did win the Cold War. They simply destroyed us from the inside, the inside of our education system.

Just like Vlad Lenin said, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”

We are seeing the results of that harvest right now in our universities where our future “leaders” are currently being “educated.”

I too am an old Cold Warrior. I call them Left-wing Fascist Pigs, I feel this encompasses the entire bag of associated rotten apples of Communists, Anarchists, Fascists, Nazis, and all other flavors of socialists, including the globalists that have infiltrated both Democrat and Republican parties.

Yet Obama’s overall approval rating is now over 50%. I hate to keep harping over republican’s but facts are facts. His numbers have been on the rise ever since the republican’s took back the congressional majority & have essentially passed & funded his proposals & agenda.
Then people fault Trump. Echoing republican leaderships unending criticism of him. To the point a longtime female Democrat criminal still leads him in the polls. Those same people then cite those polls & say Trump can’t win.
Then they wonder why a fed up majority goes against the “principled conservative” preferred candidate & advance Trump over him.
And they call us stupid, uninformed, & gullible to a “con man.” And along with corrupt GOP leadership push a #never Trump hashtag.
You tell me how that’s the smart path to take. I’m to stupid to follow the logic.

1979 was Carter’s worst year, with the Iranians taking our Embassy and “stagflation” (inflation rampant but growth stagnant). He also made the best move of his Presidency, appointing Volcker to head the Fed and stabilize the dollar, but that was not an overnight project and began too late to save him.

Obama also benefits from “the soft bigotry of low expectations” as the bar is set much lower for him as the first black President. A white chief executive with his record could never have been reelected, for example.

“Obama, I think, is going to be surprised that Donald Trump isn’t going to roll over like Mitt Romney or John McCain did during their respective campaigns.”

And the delicious part of that is that Obama does not react well at all when under REAL pressure. Something that hasn’t happened to him since the first debate with Romney.

I agree with you! Obama won’t know what hit him.

Give that, who does this comport with the polls showing Obamaa’s approval continually above 50%? Unless those polls are b.s. Imagine that?

really believe that Obama’s approval ratings are all BS. Don’t believe them!!!!!!!
