Hillary can’t escape her Superpredator past
Bill Clinton to Black Lives Matter protesters: “You are defending the people who kill the lives you say matter!”
The Black Lives Matter movement is angry with Hillary Clinton over Hillary’s use of the term “Superpredators” in the 1990s to describe young black male criminals.
That term was an integral part of selling the public on tougher criminal sentencing that BLM blames for the current high rates of incarceration for blacks.
We covered the issue when a BLM protester confronted her at a fundraiser in late February, Hillary apologizes for stigmatizing generations of young black men as “superpredators”:
It was a chilling speech in 1996.
Speaking in favor of a new crime bill, Hillary Clinton used the term “superpredator” to describe young, mostly black, men who were residual criminals. While the term was not literally limited to blacks, it came to signify and justify the mass incarceration of young black men under harsh sentencing laws:
“They are not just gangs of kids anymore. They are often the kinds of kids that are called ‘superpredators.’ No conscience, no empathy. We can talk about why they ended up that way, but first we have to bring them to heel.”
…. So it was inevitable that it would become an issue for the woman who literally coined the phrase.
The issue has come up again, this time with BLM protesters at a Bill Clinton speech. National Review reports:
Bill Clinton argued ferociously against several Black Lives Matter protesters seeking to disrupt a Hillary Clinton campaign event in Philadelphia on Thursday, pointing angrily at the hecklers as he accused them of “defending the people who kill the lives you say matter!”
The former president shouted over the protesters for over more than ten minutes, pushing back on their assertion that his wife’s use of the term “superpredator” in a 1996 crime speech was racist and made her complicit in the murder of African-Americans.
”I don’t know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-old kids hopped up on crack, and sent them out into the streets to murder other African-American children,” Clinton fumed. “Maybe you thought they were good citizens. She didn’t. She didn’t! You are defending the people who kill the lives you say matter! Tell the truth!”

And I suggest every GOP office holder make a point of quoting Bill Clinton incessantly about BLM. This is why he won two elections in the 1990s.

Sadly, super-predators DO exist, and they are largely urban residents preying on other urban residents.
With vastly expanded CCW, increasing numbers of super-predators get shot. At least in areas NOT controlled by anti-gun zealots.

They’re not “super” at anything, and the term glorifies them. “Thug” covers it.
But “thug” is no longer acceptable, either, because it is associated in black people’s minds with blacks.
Because so many blacks have embraced the word as something admirable and have self-identified as thugs, and because they’re so self-involved that they never noticed the word used for anyone who wasn’t black.
So, if there isn’t a relatively small number of black super-predators who commit outrageous crimes at high rates, there must be a large percentage of them offending, maybe a majority, but who commit fewer crimes per capita. Is that what libs expect us to believe, that the black community is filled with micro-predators who spell each other?

A couple of comments: First, these BLM protestors are completely separated from reality. Most, if not all of them, I wouldn’t like even if they were white. Their “blackness” hasn’t anything to do with anything – except in their own mind. The only skill-set I’ve been able to see from the BLM movement is their ability to hate and their inability to accept responsibility for their communities lawlessness. Dodge & weave, shuffle & jive; they spend their time blaming everyone but themselves.
About Bill Clinton expanded sentencing guidelines: Bravo! If there was any problem there, it was he didn’t go far enough.
About Hillary and the term “superpredator”: Honest and Accurate. She shouldn’t apologize, but double-down! The problem is her base of liberal progressive snowflakes would desert her. Otherwise, for anyone who has spent time on the streets of big city America, they would know just what is being described. The BLM people might not like the medicine prescribed, but that’s tough. When inner city parents start accepting responsibility for raising their children, instead of having the government doing it for them, they will end up with better end result.
Right now I’m waiting for all the BLM people to return to Ferguson and start helping to rebuild the small businesses that those unruly “blacks” burned down. That would be a good place to start as an apology.
He also, in 2014, said:
“I believe that in ways large and small, peaceful and sometimes violent, that the biggest threat to the future of our children and grandchildren is the poison of identity politics that preaches that our differences are far more important than our common humanity.”

Bill Clinton said it so the media is supportive. However, if a Republican had done the same thing…well, you can fill in the blanks.
Hillary was NEVER liked! One of the reasons Bill Clinton got a “pass” on Monica, is that no one thought he had a satisfactory wife!
Hillary’s always been ambitious! And, she seems to know a thing or two about money! Her foundation collects hundreds of millions of dollars. And, it’s probably all that money that makes Bill happy to stay “married.”
Did Bill impregnate Hillary? You know I think Webster Hubbell provided this particular “service.” (And, it was Hubbell who went to jail.)
I live (in a decent neighborhood) that borders one of the most violent neighborhoods in Chicago (Austin). It just so happens that that the violent neighborhood is about 95% black. As one would expect, the vast majority of violent crime committed in my neighborhood comes from people who live in the Austin neighborhood. So much so that the local paper prohibits the reporting of race in crime reports as not to ‘appear racist’. I don’t think that the BLM protesters understand that Clinton isn’t saying that black people have a race based predisposition to violence. What she was and is saying is that the vast majority of habitual offenders in large cities are usually black males. A statement of fact. These people (habitual violent offenders regardless of race) need to be put away where they can’t hurt people. But then again rational thought and BLM don’t often go together. For that matter, I think this is the only thing I agree with Clinton about.
I’ll give Bubba this, he said what needed to be said & for an extended period of time. He didn’t back down.
Republican’s won’t say or do that. Republican’s haven’t done that for a very long time. They turned & walked away & didn’t look back. And you wonder why republican’s are held in contempt by so many in the underclass. Republican’s won’t go out among people unlike themselves. Neither will conservatives.
I know ; I’ve been there. I’ve walked the walk. That’s in part why I too have a growing contempt for both Republicans & conservatives.
That’s in part why I cheer as republican’s & conservatives eat each other alive.
I had a very difficult time voting for the party in 2014. I largely decided to give them one last chance to get us through Obama’s last 2 years. One last chance.
Look what they’ve done with that chance.
I’m enjoying toasting marshmallows & cooking hotdogs on the fire they’ve set to their party. I thank Donald Trump for pushing them over the edge. Maybe once the Republican dumpster fire is put out a true opposition party can now arise from the ashes. To finish the job I expect brutal reprisals will come out of the recriminations coming from the survivors. I’ll enjoy the show & do nothing to stop the consequences.

Since Bernie is to the left of Hilary, Bill has a good political opportunity to set up both her primary opponent now and her presidential opponent later as extremists on the left and right, placing her in the perceived center. Naturally its also a reminder of how far left the Democratic party has veered in the nearly sixteen years since he was President. And of course crime did go down in the 90s so they were doing something right.

B. Bill wants Hillary indicted
C. the Clinton Crime family has the goods on the Obama Crime Family

Bill cares more about his legacy than he does about Hillary’s campaign messaging.

The more bernie wins, the more hillary has to go out in public and be heard and judged. And her numbers usually go down when people hear and judge her.

Note he simply said what everyone gets called “racist” for saying. He even mentioned “crack”. Doesn’t he know the crack laws are now considered to be a war on Blacks, as history has been rewritten and the facts have gone down the memory hole?
