Tonight’s Dem debate will be all about Donald Trump

Tonight’s Dem debate will be all about Donald Trump

Twitter Insurrection

Legal Insurrection will be covering tonight’s Democratic debate…but I’m willing to bet we won’t have nearly as much fun as this guy:

Achievement unlocked: Master Troll.

Let’s not lull ourselves into thinking this is slipping under the radar; it’s news. CNN covered it—and referenced a Trump event that took place this Saturday, in which Trump himself took to the stage and declared that Hillary Clinton should not be allowed to run for office.

This isn’t just a cycle piece—it’s chum in the water, and a brilliant move by Trump. Tonight, a handful of old white people (Old White People©? There’s a branding opportunity here!) will take to the stage and take turns fighting over what level of Socialism will be most effective in subduing the American people.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump will have already hijacked the online conversation. You have to hand it to him—the man knows how to force the issue.

Ladies and gentlemen, start your popcorn poppers.

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz…

So Amy Miller, the Rand Paul Booster, calls Trump: “Achievement unlocked: Master Troll.”

Now that she has revealed her chosen candidate, her contempt towards conservatives like Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, & Donald Trump is in perspective.

coo…

The appellation of “Master Troll” should be seen as a compliment. The GOP should have been trolling the DNC for the last 8 years.

You’re one of the few Trump-humpers who still maintains the delusion that T-rump is a “conservative”.

The others have moved on to other apologia.

You are still suffering from serial brain-farts I see.

BTW, isn’t that name-calling and sexist at the same time?

Ragspierre in reply to Ragspierre. | October 13, 2015 at 3:39 pm

Not at all! You can hump T=rump and be either…or no…sex.

      Like yourself.

But you didn’t respond to the question raised; do you still support the delusion that T-rump is a “conservative”?

As I have said every time, I support the supporters of both Cruz & Trump anhd I wont endorse until the lead up to the convention at some point.

Trump has become a conservative, in my view.

So you stand by name calling women Trump Humpers, eh?

From the rest of it you sound like either a member of the LBGT movement or just a commenter effusing bs to obfuscate.

Ragspierre in reply to VotingFemale. | October 13, 2015 at 4:11 pm

As always before, you just lie. But you like lying.

Like when you called a poster here a “communist” because he dared suggest that Putin would whip T=rump’s rump! AND you were SO proud of yourself!

Just another lying liar who lies…and is proud of her lies.

Like the one about leaving this space. I LOVED that one! Still chuckle about it!

          FLOUNCE…!!!

What I said was I no longer support this blog… as you well know and continue to ‘disremember.’

I call a lot of morons communists for a lot of reasons including being communist.

Now back to your sexism, name-calling & serial brain-farting…

          Actually…

Oh, give it up, why don’t ya! No body cares what labels you try to put on Donald Trump. The only one that counts is Donald 45 or Mr. President and he has that in the bag.

Of course it’s going to be about Trump. Otherwise, they’d have to talk about Democratic failures, and they’ve only got two hours.

userpen in reply to georgfelis. | October 13, 2015 at 2:29 pm

Well, it’s certainly not going to be about Hillary’s private server or e-mails problems.

“Well, it’s certainly not going to be about Hillary’s private server or e-mails problems.”

Thank God it won’t be about Hillary’s privates, which is what I thought you wrote when I read it too fast.

userpen in reply to platypus. | October 13, 2015 at 4:55 pm

It’s okay, you can relax. It won’t be about Hillary at all. If asked anything personal about herself it will be something like, “What is your favorite flavor of ice-cream?”

VotingFemale, what is your commentary contributing?

Isn’t it possible to contribute commentary on the content of the article without attacking the contributor?

    What’s it to ya?

It is exactly what I asked. I read the comments section on LI for additional insight on the articles. It used to be, before all of this bickering among “adult children” started, interesting points and counter points were made that added further depth to whatever article it was I was reading.

For example, the commentary on Andrew Branca’s articles during the Zimmerman trial, of which Mr. Branca took the time to answer questions and elaborate on certain points. An educational comment section, to be sure.

Then I see comments, and its not just you, but a few other people (rags !) that add no additional insight to the article subject matter nor any educational value. It’s just a few people attacking each other for having a different opinion.

I think that it’s entirely possible, as mature rational adults, to provide insightful, thoughtful commentary on the article without bashing the article contributor and other commentators.

If you disagree with the subject of the article, why do you disagree with it? Be specific and concise. Make your case.

Only presenting an opinion and obnoxiously belittling any and all that disagree with it does nothing but stink up the comments section. LI is better than that.

I supported the Professor’s blogging efforts within several months of his debut within the Conservative blogosphere seeing him as very meritorious, which he was and still is. He and I have been acquainted for years as a result.

Amy Miller is no Professor Jacobson… And the new political skew is not in the Professor’s favor.

It is possible that rags pays her so he can have an excuse to exercise his ‘bash’ impulse. 🙂

There’s a great story of Abraham Lincoln hiring a man with a famously loud voice who shouted “Ab-ra-ham Lincoln” at the (if memory serves) Lincoln-Douglas debate.

This is all part and parcel of the American retail political tradition.

MouseTheLuckyDog in reply to Ragspierre. | October 13, 2015 at 1:55 pm

Is getting caught part of the tradition?

The reason I mention it, is because it is going viral. Drudge had it in the upper right hand corner, Rush mentioned it, the Daily Mail is carrying it, and the Washington Post filed a story about an hour ago.

Ragspierre in reply to Ragspierre. | October 13, 2015 at 3:23 pm

Duh. OBVIOUSLY. That’s WHY it’s a famous story.

      Poor mouse…

sales of ambien will show a one-day plunge today.

Trump lives rent-free in the media’s collective head.

NC Mountain Girl in reply to locomotivebreath1901. | October 13, 2015 at 5:55 pm

Hardly. The media is, in fact, playing those Republican voters who have allowed their anger to get the better of their conservative principles and their judgement by giving the lion’s share of their coverage to Trump.

The media wants Trump to be the face of the Republican party. An old, super rich, white man, twice divorced and then remarried trophy wives who is also known to say demeaning things about women fits their narrative to perfection. Trump can’t even claim to be self made as he inherited a multi-million dollar real estate operation from his father.

Henry Hawkins | October 13, 2015 at 1:53 pm

About 312 million out of 320 million Americans will not be watching the Democrat debate tonight. About 318 million out of 320 million Americans will not be following Twitter concerning the Democrat debate.

Brilliant? As locomotivebreath1901 says, Trump lives rent-free in the media’s head. Trump goes on Twitter. “He’s brilliant!” lol

It is certainly possible that more people will tune in to the summary of Donald Trump’s tweets tomorrow than the summary of the democratic debate snooze fest. They aren’t going to attack each other. They can’t talk about their own accomplishments. They can only talk about future plans to buy votes with other people’s money (i.e. free college for all, etc.). And of course they will parade out all the talking points about republicans, war on women, hitler and terrorist comparisons, protecting the wombs of women just not their contents. Maybe Hillary will talk about hers, Fiorina’s, Christie’s and Rubio’s plans to start world war 3 with a syrian no fly zone and shooting down russian jets.

Ragspierre in reply to Gary Britt. | October 13, 2015 at 3:22 pm

You soil yourself over the idea of a Russian jet getting shot down like the mommy of a Russian pilot!

How many Russian jets got shot down over the Cuber missile crisis, liar?

How many over the years Reagan was president?

Strong leaders don’t provoke wars with tyrants like Putin. Weak ones…like Duh Donald and Obama…DO.

Eastwood Ravine | October 13, 2015 at 3:33 pm

Watching the Dems debate is not worth the popcorn. I’ll rent a movie or go to bed early.

Just insert a caricature of Duh Donald, and you’ve got a true statement!

NC Mountain Girl | October 13, 2015 at 5:04 pm

Better headline: Self promoting twit tweets about the ultimate tw@t.

Some people sure are easily entertained. Easily impressed, too.

Henry Hawkins | October 13, 2015 at 5:22 pm

Enabled by Anderson Cooper’s moderation, all the Dems will do tonight is throw candy at the Democrat base, big plans, programs, and expansions of existing programs, investments, and economic justice, by God.

No-fly topics: Obama’s/Dem’s record over 8 years, Hillary’s scandals, Obamacare problems, Islamic terrorism, etc.

No-fly words: taxes (listen for ‘investments’), entitlements (listen for Cosmos-given ‘rights’), guns or firearams (speak only of ‘assault weapons’), etc.

Eastwood Ravine in reply to Henry Hawkins. | October 13, 2015 at 7:29 pm

I hope someone is doing a cost analysis of what is discussed tonight. A debate among Democrats will be devoid of how to pay for all their new spending programs.

    Well put.

Blame the down vote on faulty digital control. If I had a buck for every time I hit down while aiming for reply I’d buy the room coffee.

Toughest questions the dems will face from cnn/dem hq will be –
What’s your favorite color?
Have we even corrected a tenth of the problems Bush left behind?
If a repub wins the Presidency will he immediately cut off all welfare and let babies starve?
