Today marks the opening of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), an annual event organized by the American Conservative Union.
The conference – already underway – features a variety of panel discussions and speeches from notable lawmakers and influencers. The current schedule includes, among others, Sen. Ted Cruz, Rep. Paul Ryan, NJ Gov. Chris Christie, Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Sen. Rand Paul, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. The conference runs from today through Saturday, March 8th, so we’ll try to bring you some of the highlights from the event throughout the next few days.
