“our liberty depends on the freedom of the press …

“our liberty depends on the freedom of the press …

and that cannot be limited without being lost.”

On the other hand:

And so it was written, and so it is done (at 5:45):

“In New York City, which you’re visiting for a couple of days, a lot of our taxi drivers are Sikhs.

If you get one, are you going to give them a slightly bigger tip?”

“I don’t know. If you get one that’s mentally retarded, do YOU give them a slightly bigger tip?”

Until politicians like Haley stop laughing indulgently at this idiotic crap it will continue.

If the cabbie had been a native New Yorker but farted a lot, should you give him a bigger tip ?

Someone, anyone, please explain to me why Republicans allow themselves to be interviewed by these wingnuts? Why do they participate in debates when the “moderators” are left wing slugs? WHY???
Do they love the limelight so much that they allow themselves to be marginalized and demeaned with stupid questions?
    STOP IT!

That was a good one OCBILL even if you made me spew my coffee all over my desk. I don’t think she is retarded however, just handicapped by her extreme left bias. Haley handled the “Gotcha” seeking questions well. If she does well as Governor she has a bright future ahead of her.
Also why is it the most Libtard ladies are so beautiful…..not!

“He who controls the language controls the masses”. – Saul Alinsky in Rules for Radicals

This is what Orwell wrote about in som much of his work – most notably “1984″.

Assignment for the effort to defeat Obama in November – grab a copy of 1984 and really read it.

We are right there in America as far as Newspeak – those who control the language.

Thank God for media like Legal Insurrection and all the others who labor so hard to make live the Andrew Breitbart legacy.

This is the one thing Breitbart really understood and he vowed to fight it with every inch of his life.

1. Thoughts about that editor are crossing my mind that make Limbaugh’s Fluke gaffe innocuous by comparison.

2. Rather than discrediting myself and this forum, I’ll fantasize about how Newt would have responded. Though Nikki handled herself adequately too, earlier: “That’s not what I said.”

3. The rumors of misconduct regarding Haley and a Sikh temple have been exploded. That apparently makes no difference to the MSM’s campaign.

4. Waiting for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to denounce the interviewer’s “borderline offensive” question.

5. OT: Nikki may have a point about Ann Romney. When the otherwise robotic Willard looks at his spouse, his affection and respect are unmistakable.

6. Overall, after watching Haley, I feel more hopeful about the next generation of conservative leaders.

Afterthought: Clicking through the interview again, I concluded that the Time editor had no idea how outclassed she was by Nikki. That’s exactly how the Left reacted to Reagan, and it’s exactly the mistake we want them to keep repeating.

But we need the candidates who can make it work.

WTF? How is that not racist? And the media are all straining to hear what word George Zimmerman said after “f–ing”!

What an obnoxious question and she should have said so in no uncertain terms.

“I’ll just invite them down to SC, where ‘journalists’ aren’t quite so bigoted, ignorant, and offensive.”

DINORightMarie | April 5, 2012 at 5:37 pm

Okay, how about this:

Sub in Michelle Obama as the interviewee, and instead of “Sikh” put in the word(s) “African-American” or “black”…….and step back for the explosion!

Double standards on steroids. Maybe because this “journalist” isn’t from here (is she Australian?), she gets a pass……oh, yeah, she’s a lib, so she ALWAYS gets a pass, no matter where she’s from.

*groan* 🙁

And the owners of the legacy media wonder why their properties are dying? G-d, what a maroon!

Poor choice of words #1: “If I were in government and working my behind off for the people…” (reminds me of Clinton saying “I’ve never worked harder in my life.”)

Poor choice of words #2: “Like it or not in America, religion does play a very important role in politics….” (you’re just bitter clingers, aren’t you?)

Poor choice of words #3: women “massively prefer” Obama to Romney. Please do not combine the words “women”, “massively” and “prefer” in one sentence.

I couldn’t listen to the interview – the Time correspondent’s voice was so irritating I wanted to scream. Nothing she could say could be important enough to endure that voice.

The utter disdain for Nikki displayed by that reporter is reprehensible.
Maybe it’s because I got my “Breitbart Is Here” t-shirt today, but this interview really grinds my gears.

The proper answer …

“Only if their jokes are better than your’s”

For the press to retain integrity they must be periodically pressed.

The pund-ette in question has that phony international accent, and probably a degree from the best school someone else’s money can buy. And yet, she comes off like a small minded clod.

Does Obama tip black cabbies better?

    Google is your friend.

Yes she graduated from a classy place on not your money. Her full 4 year degee cost $20,000 plus dip Ed another $5,000.

For an outlay of $25,000 she is extremely successful. PLus teaching at Columbia!

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is reportedly “offended”

There are times to ignore a question or comment. There are times to address a question or comment. Then there are times to dress down the person with a blistering tirade, preceded by a “That isn’t worthy of a response” comment.

That was the most obnoxious, trite, useless questions interview I have ever heard – and a worse interrupter than Bill O’Reillly.

As an antidote, here is a wonder interview of Newt with decent questions, by a journalism student, I believe, who asked much better questions:

Does Obama give bigger tips to Muslims?

Belinda Luscombe, Time, is a nasty piece of work.
