Go Coexist yourself

Go Coexist yourself

As I have said before, they don’t really want to Coexist.

And at this point, I’m not sure I want to, either.

From reader Brownyn, who has had prior experience with the coexisters:

Saw this car as we pulled onto our street here in Tustin, CA this evening – hope they’re not new neighbors! 🙂 Kind of just typical liberal stuff.

I’m not a big fan of Starbucks, but this one might make start.

Gosh, I, too, hope thy aren’t your new neighbors!

I don’t understand the Starbucks hate. Their regular coffee is really good; I just find that the beans are very pricey. If you go to a coffee shop and order the foofy drinks, it’ll be crap, sure, but you asked for it.

At any rate, the counter to people who whine about voting for Republicans is _always_ to remind Democrats that they usually lose because they’re too lazy to vote. So in this case, “if we didn’t learn from history, what does that say about the people who didn’t even show up at the polls?”

To coexist, or not to coexist, that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous liberalism,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them.

I’d be much more sanguine about coexistence if all the atheistic regimes of the 20th and 21st centuries didn’t have the nasty habit of killing people of faith.

It seems paradoxical given the perception manufactured by the secular cult; but, other than imperial Islam (over a much longer period), it has been secular regimes (e.g. communist, socialist, fascist) — especially in the 20th century — with the worst record of committing human and civil rights violations, including: slavery, genocide, etc. They just aren’t very tolerant and are, in fact, intolerant of anyone who will not accept their faith and incongruous perception of reality.

Why is it that atheists are the only ones sporting the coexist sticker? another observation…the mosque on Gervais Street is surrounded by a fence topped with barbed wire….how come no christian churches are fenced in?

You want to coexist? I’ll show you coexist …

These leftist always manage to get things 180 degrees turned around. Hopefully, those who don’t learn from history are progressive-socialist-liberal-democrat types, and want to repeat previous disasters.

I say hopefully, because I hope they are doing it in their ignorance, not in their malicious vindictiveness. Are they deliberately trying to destroy the country? I’m afraid so.

Obama didn’t see a problem with requiring Catholics to provide contraceptives. He actually said (paraphrased) “what’s the problem, I’m giving you a whole year to adapt”.

So they jam Obamacare through in partisan fashion, but are kind enough to allow others a year or two give up their silly religious beliefs.

And that is the omniscient left’s idea of “coexist” … “Become sensible Marxists like us”. History should teach the far left that Marxism/communism never works … but all they have gleaned is that propaganda works.

Figures – this person went to Harvard. 😉

I don’t get the misogynistic sticker on the window, myself. I thought that liberals were the ones who HELP and PROTECT women………after all, they claim it’s the Republicans who are waging a “war on women,” right? RIGHT?!

And, nice touch about the separation of “church and hate” there. Try taking your own adivce, buddy.

Republicans ain’t feelin’ your love – time to clean your chakras??

They have dreams of instant gratification. They don’t like to be reminded of their selective respect for individual dignity and human life. They don’t appreciate when someone harshes their mellow.

As for the “war on women”, it is principally a demand for both men and women to acknowledge and accept responsibility for the outcome of their voluntary behavior. It is also a request that they cease and desist from conducting involuntary exploitation in the name of “rights”. Both failures are principal contributors to progressive corruption of individuals and society.

The prerequisite for liberty is individuals capable of self-moderating behavior. This is antithetical to the liberal credo.

The seeming self-UN-awareness and lack of a sense of irony when viewing various collections of bumper-sticker-faux-intellectualism is rich, indeed.

Besides the daily-demonstrated fact that the first symbol is foaming-at-the-mouth, to-the-death committed to the annihilation of the rest of the symbols following it, the stratospheric hubris of those who conveniently ignore the worldwide “history” of failed socialist/marxist/statist national disasters while proudly stating, “Well, that’ll never be repeated here bacause *WE* know how to do it right!” is a sad testament to their own rational(?) thought processes.

Those who do not learn from history are those who think we can coexist with a seventh century ideology of hate, conquest and subjugation…

(Long time reader, first time poster…)

So people who learn from history vote for Stalin?

Another liberal lost in the land of irony.

Living in a red part of CA, I totally understand your apprehension of having liberals in your neighborhood. Our resident liberal has gotten herself elected pres of the PTA and has her sights on the school board. I do have to laugh and mock this woman. She sent her kids to a Baptist school and pulled them out when they were too Baptist for her tastes. She then sent her kids to a Catholic school and pulled them out, because bible class was a required part of the curriculum. Why she didn’t know that before enrolling them, I don’t know. She then put the kids in public school and got on the PTA to save the public schools. Her big accomplishment as a member of the PTA was getting a new $75,000 playground for the school they are closing at the end of this year. When was the playground completed? In October after the school year had started.

I think most Liberals define ‘coexist’ as how the Roman and Carthaginian Empires “co-existed” after Rome conquered Carthage, killed pretty much everyone in the capital city, sold rest to slavery, literally rubbed the city out of existence, and then (again literally) sowed salt into the soil, so that nothing there would ever grow again (meaning that no city would ever arise in the area, because of lack of food).

I live in CA, and there’s actually more conservatives than you might think. But the Man puts us down all the time (LOL). There are two things that Cons have over Libs though: (a) a grip on reality – we know that you can’t get something from nothing, and there’s no goose with golden eggs and (b) reality does eventually win over dogma: no State can spend more money than it takes in forever, things that can’t last never do.

I’d like to make a bumper sticker that says:

“Generic bumper sticker that says ‘I’m smarter, better, and more righteous than you'”

Or something to that effect.
