Tony passed away a week ago today. This clip from the McLaughlin group is a good testiment to him.
Tony’s commentary on Egypt was right on target:

I owe my conversion from a liberal to a conservative to Mr. Blankley and one of his appearances on C-SPAN. I will be forever grateful.
He was the best. I said the same thing about Egypt that Tony did. And even my conservative friends said I was wrong. Since my husband is in the Middle East, and I’ve also read everything I can get my hands on about the Muslim Brotherhood, I KNEW this was going to turn bad.
How the hell can a regular citizen like me know more than the idiots in the media? I did my homework!
And Tony Blankley ALWAYS did his homework.
He will be greatly missed…
His book is available with two day delivery… used hardback … for $2.98 if you have Amazon prime … maybe $4.00 without.
The West’s Last Chance: Will We Win the Clash of Civilizations?
I forgot to use the LI link to Amazon (which could be more prominent)

Compared to Hitchens, there didn’t seem to be that much written about Blankley after he died. Thanks!
Tony! Tradition!
Here’s Tony Blankley, Newt’s ‘90-‘97 press secretary on Chicago’s Don Wade and Roma show, WLS-890 AM:

He was a great fellow, an astute political observer, and a precise writer. Rest in Peace, good sir!
