Michele Bachmann finds out about Ed Rollins the hard way

Yes, Michele you should have done a Google search before hiring Ed Rollins (NYT via NRO via HotAir):

She said critical comments Mr. Rollins made to reporters after stepping aside were dismaying.

“When it comes to personnel issues, I act professionally and respectful of former employees,” she said. “I just assume that’s a two-way street. It’s disappointing when it’s not.”

When it was pointed out that Mr. Rollins has a history of speaking sharply about candidates who once employed him, Mrs. Bachmann offered a tight smile. “I guess I should have done that Google search,” she said.

If you did a Google search you would have found these posts of mine:

And just after you hired him in June I warned Michele Bachmann’s First Big Mistake – Hiring Ed Rollins:

Please take advice from someone who likes you.  Dump Rollins overboard now, before it’s too late.

By then, it may have been too late already.  Whatever chance you had of winning over Palin supporters and being the unifying Tea Party inspired candidate vanished with the opening of Rollins’ acerbic mouth.

I practically begged you to reconsider, Michele Bachmann Needs To Dump Ed Rollins Now, but to no avail.

Now Rollins is trash talking you.  Everyone could have seen this coming, except you.

I liked the old Ed Rollins, but in the last decade, he seems like another person entirely.

The ability to choose the right people for your intimate support staff is a fundamental requirement for success with a program as an executive. The ability to recognize and eliminate a liability quickly is equally important. Rollins was hired to get Bachmann elected – he hasn’t and she hasn’t. Events (and the campaign) have overtaken her; it’s unimportant now whether Rollins stays or goes.

Popularity of the individual is unimportant so long as positive results outweigh the liability. Like them or hate them, Reagan and Clinton could. Obama? He is so deeply invested in himself it appears more with each passing day that some of his policy and political problems contain a sizeable personal legal problem for both him and his staff, more so if he fires them. They and their programs absolutely suck (hate that word, but it’s appropriate, here), but most of them are now law. He may have chosen well.

Live blogging tonight?

Yep. She lost me anyway when she went all crazy about gardasil. But Rollins probably fed her that stuff and told her it would play well with the ignorant yahoo vote.

She never had me. Bachmann must have been living under a rock if she didn’t know about Ed Rollins or her husband told her to hire him.

Sad. Michelle was the natural tea party candidate and then she picked Ed Rollins to run her campaign and basically destroyed it. The attacks on Palin were sheer lunacy.

Bachmann is a total nutjob. How could you ever think think she national appeal ? We have plenty of god based weirdos, they never make it on the big stage. Keep it about money and government and keep your faith to yourself.
or maybe god will send a hurricane after you !!!
