Earthquake!

Earthquake!

How could I not.

Twitter is abuzz.  My tweets have been momentous and perceptive.  Not to mention prescient:

Did anything actually happen?

Not really, just a little ‘rock ‘n roll’

Global warming! (or cooling, depending on which theory Gaia’s priestesses have deemed official doctrine this week)

I was thinking the same thing… I tweeted: Let me guess… global warming caused the #Earthquake in DC

I wish I could say otherwise, but I’m already seeing acquaintances on Facebook blame global warming, er, climate change.

Environmentalism really is just a new paganism.

“Did anything actually happen?”

You mean other than a gentle east-west swaying for a few seconds?

And next week: “… and Hurricane Irene, …”

Does it matter to Obama?? Just another excuse for the lousy job he is doing.

I felt it at the Jersey Shore. Weird feeling. Thought it was just me until I realized my hanging kitchen lights were swaying. It lasted about 10 seconds.

Earthquake?? Ha!

Here in California our aftershocks’ aftershocks are bigger than that.

Scream from a Martha’s Vineyard gold course apparently.

Golf*

Obama, shaken, not yet stirred!

If we were a primitive tribe, we’d believe it was the God of Employment’s way of saying, “Get off the golf course, jerk!”

Mother Nature seems to be pissed at 0bama
it wants him to resign for causing so much damage
to the nation and the USA’s economy. *LOL*

Thi sis too good not to share: As posted by Maggie Knoell on Facebook:===
Breaking News: it’s just been established by the administration that the DC earthquake occurred on a rare and obscure faultline, apparently known as “Bush’s Fault”.

Richmond, Va., here – sure felt it in the downtown building where I work. People outside said the buildings swayed. Not much damage except near the epicenter (in a small town west of here).

The quake was quite noticeable here in Virginia. I have been through similar quakes abroad. We don’t get a lot of quakes in Virginia but there are several significant faults including ones that run under the Lake Anna Nuclear Power Plant not far from Richmond. You would think they would check that out before they build nuclear reactors but it is obviously Bush’s fault. Which I think is the new name for the actual geological fault now.

I wonder how many missed putts he blamed on the quake and its aftershocks?

Looking at that picture it is good to see some oppressed minorities taking advantage of a nice day.

Maybe, that wasn’t an earthquake

maybe that was the sound of the economy shattering and collapsing under 0bama. *LOL*

Let’s hope he is safe. Biden is next in line.

Two days later, it looks like the Washington Monument was actually damaged by the earthquake.
