Given the news, that could refer to several different issues.

But I mean it with regard to Syria, where almost everyone seems to view Assad’s days are numbered, but no one seems to be sure how many days.  With Iran and Hezbollah at this side, Assad may hold on longer than...

We have known for decades that Palestinian leaders talk out of both sides of their mouths, a message of relative restraint to the West and a message of anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli agitation at home.

Hamas is more honest than the Palestinian Authority, as it has a unified message of hate.

Now that Mahmoud Abbas...

This is courage week for Canada.

First, a very strong statement of support for Israel at the U.N.

Now, unlike Stevie Wonder, who cancelled a pro-Israel concert under mild pressure from the U.N. and anti-Israel groups, Alanis Morissette, the Canadian singer, has arrived in Israel for a concert despite calls from the lunatic and...

The United States nominally opposed the General Assembly Resolution granting nonmember state status to “Palestine.”

In the short run, it changes nothing on the ground, but it does embolden the Palestinians to hold out for everything, including  a reversion to the 1949 Armistice borders, commonly and somewhat erroneously referred to at the...

Yesterday was other-worldly, watching the sick march of hypocrisy on display at the U.N. for the vote in the General Assembly to grant “Palestine” nonmember state status.

Of course, “Palestine” already declared independence in 1988 and that declaration was recognized by almost all of the 138 countries that voted “yes” yesterday.

What was...

Around 5 p.m. today the U.N. General Assembly will vote to grant “Palestine” non-member status.

For what is the General Assembly voting?

Definitely not for a state. “Palestine” clearly does not qualify.

Definitely not for a government.  Who controls?  H...
