Trump Reportedly Declines Super Bowl Interview
NBC airs the Super Bowl this year.
President Donald Trump has reportedly decided not to opt of the traditional presidential interview before the Super Bowl game. From The Washington Times:
President Trump is taking his war on the liberal media to the Super Bowl — reportedly declining the recent tradition of a presidential interview with the network televising the game Sunday.
CNN reported Wednesday evening that Mr. Trump, who followed the decade-old tradition last year by doing an interview with Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly when Fox had the game, will not grant an interview with NBC, which he regularly derides as “fake news” and which is the parent network of the progressive MSNBC news network.
“He is not doing a Super Bowl interview,” a White House official told CNN, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Sources at NBC told CNN similarly, while adding that the invitation for Sunday’s game remains open if Mr. Trump changes his mind, the report by CNN media reporter Brian Stelter said.
I wouldn’t be shocked if he changes his mind at the last minute.

This Sunday, we’ll be flying the flag while not watching the Super Bowl.
For me, it will be piano practice and watching ancient black and white who-done-it movies.
A few other things that the President made unnecessary:
– Iowa straw poll
– Mandatory Media-run debate participation
– Annual White House Correspondents dinner/roast
– Presidential picks NBA brackets
What on earth is there left for the White House reporters to report upon?
(To be fair, I will give Hillary credit for ending the First Lady Cookie Bake thing back in ’92.)
Good. He’s the national CEO. I don’t care what he thinks about sports events.
I doubt that Trump cares one way or the other what jocks think. Actually, do they think much? Today, brawn has little value except for the entertainment value of them killing off brain cells one blow at a time.
