This leftist activist is free speech’s worst nightmare

“By any means necessary.”

Tucker Carlson had on a guest last night who proudly took credit for helping to organize the mob that shut down Milo Yiannopoulos at Berkeley.

Yvette Felarca is part of a left wing group called By Any Means Necessary, and she advocates the use of violence to stop fascism. Oh and by the way, she’s a middle school teacher. Isn’t that great? Here’s some background on the segment from the FOX News Insider:

Berkeley Protest Organizer Proud of Shutting Down ‘Fascist’ Milo

Felarca, who helped organize the protests at UC-Berkeley two weeks ago, is calling for similar protests at universities across the country when there are guest speakers she believes are “fascists.”

“A fascist is someone who’s organizing a mass movement that’s attacking women, immigrants, black people, other minority groups in a movement of genocide,” Felarca said.

She said that Milo Yiannopoulos, the subject of the Berkeley riots, is a fascist because he whips up a “lynch mob mentality” among his supporters and incites violence.

Noting that Felarca’s group’s name calls for fighting fascists “by any means necessary,” Tucker pressed her on what level of violence they are willing to use.

“To what extent would you go to stop [a] person from spreading ‘genocidal propaganda’?” Tucker asked.

Felarca said she would call on others to stand up, counter-protest and “shut down” that person.

Here’s the video. Wear a seat belt:

We get it. You’re really, really sad that Hillary lost. But for your own mental health, drop it and go get some help.

She needs the heavy duty Reynolds Aluminum foil for her hat… a full roll might not be enough. My concern has jokingly been about what’s in the water they drink… wrong… it is what is missing… Haldol.

Look at her eyes. They’re as dead as darkness. She’s Stalin’s spiritual descendant.

She’s evil.

I kept waiting for him to ask her if she was actually the fascist here, not the ones she calls out.

I think that was the direction he was heading, but she deftly refused that line by refusing to stop talking, and bringing other issues when he really wanted her to simply state a fascist view like, “We will use whatever violence we feel we need to stop someone speaking in ways that we disapprove.”

Yvette Felarca is a known quantity.

on involuntary paid leave, who is suing the school district
http://www.dailycal.org/2016/10/31/yvette-felarca-sues-berkeley-school-district-alleged-1st-amendment-rights-violations/

Meanwhile, she isn’t the only one.

In San Diego, the school board floated the idea of inviting the new US Secretary Betsy DeVos to “visit the district on a fact-finding mission to learn what the school district is doing to create quality public schools in every neighborhood, so that she can collect the data needed that will allow her to base her decisions on what is best for students rather than any political ideology.”

This got shot down by the teachers’ union, which said that

…..although the visit would “reveal how wrong and destructive her well-funded efforts to destroy public education have been,” [long self-serving statement that translates into “she is a bad person, not worth talking to.”]

We sure have a lot of people quite vocally desperate to shut down speech between voters and anybody allied with this administration.

I saw this piece – my impression was that she’d gladly send millions to the gas chambers, if only she had the power.

The collective lack of self awareness of all these leftists that Tucker interviews is amazing. Do these people look at previous Tucker Carlson interview, and say “gee, my friend did well on his show convincing people to see our way”? No. I think they probably just do this to get cred for spewing on a Fox show. Luckily, for everyone from moderate leftist to right, there is an exposure of just how whacked out the far left, which is current driving force of the Democrat party.

Good point. I wasn’t impressed by TC until he got his new show. He’s on fire. What are they thinking going on? “I’ll do better than the previous dumpster fires because I’m smarter, and, and…RIGHT!”?

This vile woman is the one that beat another person just because she didn’t agree with their speech.

The non-sequiturs Tucker’s guest was offering had me worried he would break down, like Nomad in classic Star Trek.

If America has any similarity to Fascist Germany, it is in the use of the ‘Brown shirts’ to injure, intimidate, and suppress the opposition, only they are called “By Any Means Necessary” of ‘BlackLivesMatter,’ Der Fuehrer Soros is so proud of them, even though it costs him some money.

Oy. This is what happens when you let words mean whatever some loony wants them to mean. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

Between Maxine Waters channeling Lavrentiy Beria, and this one getting all touchy-feely with her inner Ernst Röhm, I think the American Left may be approaching its apotheosis.

Of course they may surprise me and outdo even themselves.

I think hyper-news junkies like us are providing credibility to these nutters. Fox and other outlets put them on for shock value. The result is, the audience gets ginned up and the loons have credibility because they got on the television. If they are good on camera, they get to make the news outlet circuit like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton and potentially a career shaking down institutions.

It’s a system that feeds on itself.

The truth is – they are gigantic losers who haven’t done a productive thing in their entire life. They are too caustic and abrasive to hold office (ergo can’t be on the city council or the Senate like loser-pants Patty Murray who knows how to be nice when she needs to be) and are probably barely keeping the day job they have because they are such toxic personalities.

Rather than handing them a microphone, it’s time to hand them a hanky and pointing them to a safe space.

I agree. These people should be ignored, shunned and laughed at on the occasions that they force themselves into the limelight.

Fox and others should just stop seeking them out for their POVs.

I think LI actually acknowledged this about the red headed loon adjunct college teacher who asked for some muscle to get rid of a kid from the school newspaper.

Although they make nice case studies for the larger tide, the media coverage gives them credibility that is undeserved and for which they are entirely unworthy. Their only value in the marketplace of ideas is shock value. George Soros can fund endless amounts of these, but actual Americans with jobs 10 miles away from a college campus don’t buy what they are selling.

Important safety tip for Yvette Falarca and her good-time buddies:

Don’t hop on a train if you can’t stop it and don’t know where it’s going to end up.

You know I often wonder how the Red-Green alliance can function, but looking into her eyes it’s clear she’d be just as at home donning a Burqa and suicide bombing a checkpoint as she is being an antifa sociopath.

I was wanting him to ask: What authority do you have to be able to make the decision on who is guilty of being a “fascist”, and what punishment should be administered to that person?

In other words, who made you judge, jury, and executioner?

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to rinardman. | February 14, 2017 at 3:09 pm

This is a truly evil woman. She needs to have a net thrown over her, straight-jacketed and locked in a padded cell.

Why hasn’t this woman been arrested?

Char Char Binks | February 14, 2017 at 2:51 pm

They’re asking to get shot.

Why does she look so much like Yoko Ono?

But the tiny former Sec of Labor and current prof at Berkeley told us that the Milo protest was caused by right wingers infiltrating a peaceful gathering of progressives.

Someone should introduce him to Yvette.

She’s a thug vigilante paid to create chaos. This is very common in America. What are we going to do about it?

She’s on tape committing what looks to be assault and battery. Why isn’t she doing time?

What School Board would allow this violent woman to teach their kids?

Whenever I hear that phrase “by any means necessary” I can’t help but think of the scene in Orwell’s 1984 when, to his great shame, Winston agrees that he’s willing to do anything, anything at all:

‘You are prepared to give your lives?’
‘Yes.’
‘You are prepared to commit murder?’
‘Yes.’
‘To commit acts of sabotage which may cause the death of hundreds of innocent people?’
‘Yes.’
‘To betray your country to foreign powers?’
‘Yes.’
‘You are prepared to cheat, to forge, to blackmail, to corrupt the minds of children, to distribute habit-forming drugs, to encourage prostitution, to disseminate venereal diseases — to do anything which is likely to cause demoralization and weaken the power of the Party?’
‘Yes.’
‘If, for example, it would somehow serve our interests to throw sulphuric acid in a child’s face — are you prepared to do that?’
‘Yes.’

So, that’s what I want to know, Yvette Felarca: would you be willing to do all these things (including blinding and disfiguring a child, a child who just happened to be in the wrong place at the time) in order to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking?

How in the world, is this woman not charged with inciting a riot for Berkeley. For assault for Sacramento.

And she actually teaches children?

Watched the Tucker segment – people like this are incredibly dangerous in our society.

They are the very fascists they claim to be defending us against.

Very scary…

Ayatollya_once | February 14, 2017 at 3:42 pm

There are close parallels between her and the suicide bombers of the Islamic world in that she harbors grievances against “oppression” of one group or another and it gives her life meaning, an almost holy purpose, to fight, to act out, by any means necessary. These greivances are imaginary. She claimed “immigrants are under attack, mulims are being massacred, women are being raped…”. Where is this happening in the USA?

I must be missing something. Felonies were committed in Berkeley. This woman conspired to create the felonies. Conspiracy is a crime. Why isn’t she in jail?

MaggotAtBroadAndWall | February 14, 2017 at 4:01 pm

Milo is a Jewish homosexual immigrant with a black boyfriend. Not exactly your prototypical gay hating, immigrant hating, anti-Semitic fascist.

It would have been great if, at the end, Tucker had slapped his forehead and declared, “I get it now! I see the light! You are so right!” then screamed “GET THE FASCIST!!” just as someone dive tackled her, knocking her out of the camera’s view.

This woman desperately needs a weekend with Bill and Hillary.

Mao’s Red Guard never really died.

Richard Aubrey | February 14, 2017 at 4:49 pm

I’d be surprised to find that she actually beleives those she accuses of vile crimes actually are guilty of such. Instead, by layering on one terrible label after another without pushback, it becomes perfectly obvious you should deck the guy. It’s not a belief, it’s a tactic.

OnTheLeftCoast | February 14, 2017 at 6:23 pm

Felarca is only the tip of the iceberg. Here’s Erin Schweng in 2012. She’s the former middle school teacher who is the new principal of Berkeley High School:

Today was Hoodie Day at Longfellow School in Berkeley. Students and teachers at the middle school wore hoodies in memory of Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain, in Sanford, Fla. on Feb. 26.

The class of teacher Erin Schweng also had skittles and Arizona Tea, both items Martin was carrying when he died.

“We talked about what happened, and how what we’re doing today is just a small thing but that it shows solidarity and support,” said Schweng. “Our middle school students are young people with heart, passion, and a budding activism all their own.”

http://www.berkeleyside.com/2012/03/30/longfellow-holds-hoodie-day-in-honor-of-trayvon-martin/

Send your kid to BHS, don’t be surprised if an “activist” graduates.

Saw a vid showing Yvette with a bandage on her head. Seems someone didn’t carry through. Next time, Yvette.

I understand. She is the empress or some other bullshit in her mind.
Another delusional liberal thinking themselves a genius, in this case managing to hold a job as a 3rd grade teacher. Most go on the dole or work for liberal “nonprofits”.

Really? BAMN! is still kicking around out there?

BAMN, or more formally known as the “Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration and Immigration Rights and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary.”

I thought that they had crawled back under the rock that those proglodytes had originally been found under after the FBI started looking at them as a terrorist organization and after the Sacramento Riot of 2016.

“A fascist is someone who’s organizing a mass movement that’s attacking women, immigrants, black people, other minority groups in a movement of genocide,” Felarca said.

Fascist. This meme is appropriate (safe for work).

The most amazing thing is that people still send their children to the kind of schools which are unable to fire teachers like Yvette Felarca! What kind of schools would those be? Why, government monopoly bureaucratic “public” schools! What could possibly go wrong? Why, this!

the fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists

I found the most disturbing revelation is that there are parents who still allow this creature to “teach” their children.

“She said that Milo Yiannopoulos, the subject of the Berkeley riots, is a fascist because he whips up a ‘lynch mob mentality’ among his supporters and incites violence.”

Uh….all the violence came from Felarca’s people…..
