Charlotte Police just confirmed that a photo taken by a news reporter did in fact show Keith Lamont Scott’s gun. Scott was shot and killed by police Tuesday afternoon.
Locals rioted against alleged police brutality insisting Scott was unarmed and holding a book.

I’m sure we’ll get an apology and offer to pay for all damages and hospital bills from blm…….any day now…..
And …?
I’ll take your word that the blob in that photo is a gun.
Now someone has to establish that a gun is Scott’s gun, and that he was doing something nefarious with it.
I’m not personally too enthusiastic about the idea that a gun automatically makes its possessor an assumed menace and therefore a target. I have piles of guns, and nobody’s shot at me yet … and I’d prefer to keep it that way.
Of course I’m not black. Is that what makes the difference? If so, maybe those BLM guys have a point.
Looks like sweet tea and skittles to me. Obviously, the police acted stupidly.
Meet the (black) police officer who shot Scott. An exemplary young man, hardly likely to take someone out “because he’s black.”

Thanks for the link.
More info always helps the “understanding” of the “event”.
Nefarious doesn’t matter – he had an ankle bracelet – that makes it illegal.
