Pro-lifers nationwide will protest Planned Parenthood next week
Taking the pro-life conversation to the streets
The Center for Medical Progress’ undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s baby part harvesting operation have dramatically changed the national conversation on the sanctity of life.
In addition to prompting serious soul-searching among life-long pro-abortion believers, CMP’s videos have galvanized the pro-life movement.
On August 22, pro-lifers will attend rallies at Planned Parenthood clinics in 180 cities across 43 states. Backed by a massive pro-life coalition, #ProtestPP‘s mission is simple:
ProtestPP is a coalition of pro-life groups calling for a National Day of Protest on August 22, 2015 at Planned Parenthood facilities all across America. Our goal is to raise awareness of the heartless and even illegal activities of Planned Parenthood by going to where the killing and harvesting of body parts from aborted children takes place. The four main sponsors are: Created Equal, the Pro-Life Action League, 40 Days for Life, and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society.
Creating a presence at neighborhood Planned Parenthood facilities is essential to inform the public about what is going on behind closed doors. Local sidewalk counselors and activists are a key component to shutting down Planned Parenthood in the long term.
The National Day of Protest will strengthen local efforts by raising their profile with the local press, the community and other pro-life activists. Together, the protests held on August 22 will put pressure on the media, both local and national, to report the truth about Planned Parenthood, and on government officials to stop funding this discredited organization.
According to Steven Ertelt at Life News:
Monica Miller of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, one of the protest event sponsors, says the level of outrage directed towards Planned Parenthood after this body parts scandal is bigger than she’s ever seen.
“Never before in the history of legalized abortion has the unethical, unjust, violent and hideous world of Planned Parenthood been so graphically exposed,” she said. “I am of course talking about the Center for Medical Progress undercover videos—four of which have been released—that show high level Planned Parenthood executives and abortion providers haggling over the sale price of aborted baby parts.”
#ProtestPP’s site has an abundance of resources for those wishing to host protests in cities where one is not already planned. To find out if there’s a rally happening close to you, click here.

The CMP (folks publishing the videos) just won in court. No injunction.
Release the videos! Keep them coming! Force them on the slimestream media!
This is the first I have heard of this – glad I saw it and thanks to LI for posting it. I am promoting this protest on my church small group’s website ( http://www.unshackledaction.com/ ) – be sure to check it out since the site is for concerned Christians everywhere.
I’ve passed the info on to our pastor and hopefully he will see fit to notify the whole church.
I would encourage everyone to pass along the word about this. I know that the MSM will try to ignore any protests against PP, but we need to make it as difficult as possible for them to do that.
I say go “full Alinsky” on them: I.e., we set up “lemonade stands” in front of Planned Parenthood offices all over the country. Except that instead of saying “Lemonade 25 cents” on our overhead signs, we advertise “Planned Parenthood Baby Parts on Sale Here! Make Best Offer.”
I guarantee our “lemonade stands” will be on the nightly news everywhere, and Planned Parenthood won’t know what hit ’em.
I was already planning on going tomorrow. I guess I’ll go next Sat too! “Honk if you love babies!”
Hubby and I just talked about it. We have to drive quite a distance to get to a protest at an actual PP, but we’re going.
