Wishing President George W. Bush a very happy birthday

Wishing President George W. Bush a very happy birthday

Not to be misunderestimated

Today, former President George W. Bush celebrates his 69th birthday.

To commemorate this great man, world class leader, and Texan, we’ve compiled some of our favorite W moments.

This great moment in baseball history

His SMU Commencement Speech from earlier this year

His post-9/11 bullhorn speech

W.’s knack for mixing up words

I have it on authority of one of his former White House speech writers that President Bush (43) is dyslexic, which would explain some of the resulting Bushisms.

Wishing President Bush a very happy birthday and many more years ahead.

The bullhorn speech at the base of the World Trade Center ruins is my favorite memory of the Bush years. It was an impromptu line, spoken off the cuff in response to the crowd. Obama for all his eloquence and gifts as a speaker, is incapable of delivering that speech.

I think you’re confusing “has decent speech writers” with “eloquence,” and “sonorous baritone voice” with “gifts as a speaker.”

Bush will always stand head and shoulders above Obama. Through the insults and hatred he has had to endure, Bush has never struck back. He may be a “country bumpkin” that stumbles on his words, but when he spoke it was from the heart. W rocks!

Then it must be bigger midget compared to smaller midget. Bush was a disaster. Bad war, big spender, overall fool.

Didn’t always agree with the policies he pursued, but there was never any question that W is a patriot, that he acted with integrity, and always towards what he concluded after hearing all the evidence and argument, was the best course for the country. He exemplifies service. I miss him and Laura, and wish them well. Would we had such class in the present and future leaders of our nation.

He’s my all-time favorite Decider-in-Chief. We didn’t know how good we had it.

Last Real President this country has had!
And a Great Arm.
Happy Birthday, Mr. President!

More than once I’ve imagined what the consequences would have been been had bin Laden & Co. attacked the US on 9/11/09 instead of 9/11/01. Can’t escape concluding the nature of the Divider in Chief would have won out over a Uniter in Chief and certainly over a Commander in Chief.

Thanks for that Roberts appointment! A nice man, a great patriot, but a mediocre president who was loyal to disloyal incompetents and allowed himself to become a national punching bag. Enough with the revisionist crap! His father lead to Hillary, W. lead to Obama, and Jeb will lead (if by some miracle he becomes POTUS) to someone to the Left of Elizabeth Warren – someone like Bill de Blasio
