Dem Operative Tweets that Mitch McConnell’s wife is “not from KY, she’s Asian”

Why are Democrats so fixated on attacking McConnell’s wife because she’s of Asian descent?

Democratic operative Kathy Groob tweeted a handful of racist tweets about Senator McConnell’s wife. Outrage ensued and Groob apologized and then deleted her Twitter account. Fox News reports:

A Democratic operative deleted her Twitter account Monday following a series of what some called racist remarks about Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao.

Chao, former U.S. Labor Secretary under President George W. Bush, is Asian.

Kathy Groob, who describes herself as an “advocate for women in politics,” sent a series of tweets related to Chao at a political event Saturday.

According to WKMS, Groob sent the tweets in response to comments McConnell made at the event, in which he referred to his wife as “the only Kentucky woman who served in a president’s cabinet.”

Following widespread criticism from her own party, Groob later apologized for her “poor choice of words” and deleted her Twitter account.

The tweets that started it all:

Kathy Groob Tweets Elaine Chao Asian not KY

This isn’t the first time Chao has suffered racist attacks. “A liberal group came under fire last year for attacking Chao’s ethnicity, fulminating that she could be the reason why Kentuckians’ jobs “moved to China.”  Chao is from Taiwan,” Guy Benson writes.

Groobs racist tweets attacking a woman didn’t help McConnell’s challenger, Alison Lundergan Grimes who’s constantly droning on with the “war on women” mantra. Hot Air summarizes:

Reports that Democrats are abandoning their demagogic ‘war on women’ trope must come as news to Sen. Mitch McConnell, whose Democratic opponent has flooded Kentucky’s airwaves with ads that essentially accuse him of favoring violence against women.  Alison Lundergan Grimes has repeated this attack on the campaign trail in an unsubtle bid to open up a decisive gender gap that has yet to materialize, according to a recent poll.  McConnell’s campaign is up with a response ad starring McConnell’s wife, former Labor Secretary Elaine Chao:

It should also be noted, as the Washington Free Beacon pointed out, that Lundergan Grime’s father owns a restaurant that caters to menfolk. Menu items include, “Charlotte’s Rack,” a plate of ribs named after his wife. Not in the mood for ribs? No problem, there’s always “Abby’s Hugh Jass” burger, named after his daughter. Seems like Lundergan Grime’s has this war on women thing mastered.

They are haters. No more complex than that.

They used to do it to Wendy Graham, too, when Phil was active politically.

I have a special word for liberals; its “Stoopid”. I think that pretty much covers it.

Racism, antisemitism, and covetousness define the Democrats.

Just for giggles let me note that I am also of Chinese ancestry. Like then 8 year old Elaine Chao and her mother, my father came from China alone at 12 years old on a freighter; albeit my dad was in steerage and they were probably not locked below decks. My dad got his citizenship in Patton’s 3rd Army, Elaine Chao got hers through normal naturalization procedures. My dad was, and Elaine Chao is, American; no matter how much it hacks off the Democrats who apparently want to give away the American SW to Mexican invaders.

That said, Democrat racism does not excuse Mitch McConnell’s actions in opposition to Conservatives and the Base of the Republican Party, nor his promises and deeds to attack and try to destroy the TEA Party. If I was in Kentucky, I would leave the Senate ballot blank.

It will be a lot easier to fight the Democrats and Obama if we do not have to fight Mitch McConnell first.

I too wish to see McConnell depart the Senate. He has been a thorn in the side of actual conservatives for much too long and needs to be ousted.

That said, this attack on him through his wife, based on nothing other than her ethnicity and using that to assert that she is not from Kentucky or even the U.S., is slanderous politics at its worst. Someone should take Kathy Groob out behind a Kentucky woodshed and teach her some manners!

And because they think their constituents are racist.

Yup. Democrat political operatives assume all those hillbillies in rural Kentucky simply must be white supremacist.

They used to try this tactic in rural Texas when Phil Gram was in politics. It didn’t work very well then, either.

When a leftist attacks, it’s almost always projection.

In this case, she probably actually believes GOP voters are raaaaacists and she can depress turnout by putting the whole ‘Asian’ thing out there …

This from the same crowd which screams, “They’re not illegal immigrants, they’re undocumented Americans!!”

Oblivious to the irony and clueless to the hypocrisy.

So Democrats want all these unaccompanied minors coming here but they object to Elaine Chao, who was brought (legally) to the US when she was eight years old. Hypocrites.

…Groob later apologized for her “poor choice of words” and deleted her Twitter account.

Why is it, when a liberal says something racist, it’s a “poor choice of words”? But, if a conservative says the same thing, it’s “Raaaccissst”.

If you are going to post every example of leftist hypocrisy, you are going be one busy lady!

The Left has no actual principles. There is nothing holy to them at all, except for accumulating power and wielding it ruthlessly.

They will say or do anything which they believe can help them in that pursuit. And given half the chance, they will grind your rights and mine into fine powder and blow them away.

There is no discussion, debate, or conversation possible with leftists. This is why they tend to support the islamists these days – they only want to win and anyone who stands in their way is expendable.

Hey you can be Asian and an American.
You can be Asian and a Kentucky citizen.

I’d like to read this person tweeting about illegal Mexicans.
Somehow … that’s OK. Yet being here legally will never erase your heritage, your “otherness”.
