If Obama isn’t secretly urging Elizabeth Warren to run, he should be

Obama’s Mini-Me will protect all of Obama’s, ahem, accomplishments.

Ed Klein reports that Obama is using Valerie Jarrett to urge Elizabeth Warren to challenge Hillary in the primary to protect Obama’s transformation of the nation into something of which he and Michelle can be proud.

Warren will protect Obama’s, ahem, achievements, Hillary can’t be trusted to do that.

It’s entirely believable. Whether it’s true remains to be seen.

Here is part of the report, This means Warren: Obama backs challenger to Hillary:

President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me….

Obama has authorized his chief political adviser, Valerie Jarrett, to conduct a full-court press to convince Warren to throw her hat into the ring….

He believes that the populist Warren is the best person to convince the party faithful that Hillary is out of touch with poor Americans and the middle class. Warren, in his view, would carry on the Obama legacy after he leaves the White House….

“Barack, Michelle, and Valerie have been talking about Elizabeth Warren for quite some time,” says an Obama administration source. “Valerie has told Warren that Obama is prepared to throw a great deal of money and organizational support behind her….

“Both Valerie and Michelle Obama have convinced the president that Elizabeth Warren is his Mini-Me,” said a person who has discussed the issue with Jarrett.

If Democrats nominate Hillary, they will have to put on a happy face. But Warren is who they really want.

And I repeat, Elizabeth Warren would crush Hillary, and they both know it.

I hope Warren runs. Can’t wait for the rest of the country to see what an unaccomplished lying hypocrite she is.

What I think is forgotten by those pushing her candidacy is that she was elected to represent one of the Bluest states. She is almost as much an elitist, a 1%, as Hillary! Hillary! maybe be a .01%, while Warren only a .1%. But outside dark blue enclaves like MA, that isn’t going to matter all that much. Working against her, besides that, is, of course, that she liked her way to tenure at Harvard, and she isn’t an experienced politician. This is her first elected position. Sarah Palin even had her beat there. Which means that she is likely to make a number of rookie mistakes and gaffes along the way. Besides, when was the last time a MA politician won the Presidency? The answer, of course, is 1960, and the person winning it can hardly be called a liberal.

The “Perfect Storm” for those who wish to perpetuate the Republic is to have Clinton and Liawatha eviscerate one another in the primaries but have Warren eek out a slim victory. A bonus would be to have a contentious, divided convention. Then, Warren would emerge onto center stage trailing her political entrails, fresh from her Pyrrhic victory over the Carville led Clinton smear machine, too damaged to win the general election.

I’d especially like to watch her debate Ted Cruz or Rand Paul.

Nah, I still think the 0bama machine will be running Michelle. She’s grown used to the good life, and won’t want to give it up.

The good life for Michelle will be full retirement on our nickel. That, plus $200,000 speaking fees and continued book royalties. Why work? My impression is she doesn’t like what’s she’s doing now. Maybe if she took up golf she could learn to like the job.

I’m confused. What has Elizabeth Warren actually done in her life that would indicate that she is a progressive? Maybe some social issues. Otherwise, all I can see is a faker and an ambitious opportunist, the “debater” and panderer who will say whatever is expedient.

My greatest concern about her would be her complete lack of qualifications in foreign policy (HRC of course has proved her incompetence in this area, and Joe Biden’s track record is pretty dismal too).

Warren is a “incredibly qualified” as a Progressocrat or anything else was when Teh Chosen Won when he ascended to the throne. In fact, she has high cheekbones to confer minority status upon her, as well as the added bonus having no Y-chromosome. Or to paraphrase the late, great Tammy Wynette, “…after all, he’s just a man”.

You’ve answered your own question: some social issues, a faker, an ambitious opportunist,“debater” and panderer, will say whatever is expedient, lack of qualifications in foreign policy. That about covers it.

My prediction: There will be two cohorts in the 2016 election. They will consist of EBT-card- and Obama-phone-carriers, civilian government employees, unions, minorities, and “elite”–the media and higher ed city-state denizens—on one hand, and everyone else on the other. Everyone Else wins only if it can pick off votes from the former groups.

Predict the winner, I dare you.

Two very important items fall out between the lines of this report:

1. Obama does not yet know that the legacy he is trying to protect is one of failure.

2. There is some doubt that Warren will run.

The first is easy to believe. The second, not at all.

after Dodd-Frank, in 2010 .. Sheila Bair (in her book “Bull By the Horns”):

at a HUD meeting “Elizabeth Warren was also invited in her special capacity as adviser to Tim and the president on setting up the new consumer agency. It made sense insofar as Dodd-Frank expressly gave the new consumer bureau authority to write mortgage servicing standards.

I’m not sure why Warren was so special. Later, Geithner sorta snubbed Bair, and gave Warren the lead in proposing a $25B in relief from the big banks. Republicans complained that Warren’s agency (the consumer financial protection bureau) was not active yet. Her plan was dropped.

It seems Warren is being prepped … she appeared on Time as one of “the new sheriffs on Wall Street” … though Bair notes she had already been there three years, while Warren and Schapiro were new Obama appointees.

http://content.time.com/time/covers/0,16641,20100524,00.html

So Warren got some exposure, though I’m not sure it indicates she is qualified. But people that want to blame the banks might think Warren is on their side.

The same people who elected the new mayor of New York City will be in Warren’s army. If you you think lying, cheating, Alinskying, and vote fraud has been bad – you ain’t seen nothing yet.

In fact, I believe they are bringing an army of new Warren voters into the country and distributing them around as we speak.

The good professor emptied his quiver but like a poor archer he managed to still miss the target.

Obama needs a successor who is at least as much of an incompetent than he is. How else to protect his legacy ?

It is quite possible that Hillary would be more competent that Obama therefore showing the world that Obama was, in fact, really an incompetent Affirmative Action buffoon, as his critics have claimed for 6 years now.

Liz Warren on the other hand, is even more of a buffoon than Obama. Her reliance on “buzzwords” and catchy phrases is legion. Obama even has/had more executive experience before becoming President than Warren, which makes Warren the perfect person to protect the Obama Legacy from a follow-on President who actually might be competent. How else to make Obama the “smartest man in the room” than to fill it with empty-headed women like Warren.

And Obama thinks Lizzie “Borden” Warren will give him a pardon!

The mayor of Houston is probably the next “one”.

Whoever their nominee will be is already chosen.

you forgot Sen Elizabeth “Redskins” Warren in every mention, just saying

If revolution is to come, Warren would get us there sooner rather than later.
