Rhode Island State Senator when challenged on gun control legislation: “Go F*** Yourself”

Rhode Island State Senator when challenged on gun control legislation: “Go F*** Yourself”

Never change, Rhode Island, never change.

http://youtu.be/Zo98fDcFbtc

Oh, how I miss my formerly home State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

A State run by the best and the brightest — and the indicted and the investigated and the Democrats and the Unions.

Just a few days ago the feds and State Police raided the office and home of the Democratic Speaker of the House of Representatives — who has since resigned as Speaker.

Among other things, there is a huge legislative push for more gun control legislation, as reported by ABC6:

Some Rhode Island lawmakers…are again taking aim at gun control. No fewer that nine bills are now being considered – from banning assault style weapons; to boosting sales tax on ammunition; and, limiting gun clips to no more than ten rounds.

“People do have the right to own a gun. I believe in that. But I think there’s also a new type of responsibility that has to come with controlling a gun and the guns that go out into the street,” said State Rep. Joe Almeida (D) Providence, who sponsored three of the bills.

Gun owner’s rights advocates are already firing back. “We’re in an election year and there is an element of this that is obviously election year antics,” said State Rep. Mike Chippendale (R) Foster.

The arrogance of the politically powerful is demonstrated in this response by Democratic State Senator Josh Miller and an unidentified compatriot (added — apparently a photographer accompanying Miller) to a question regarding the pending legislation.

Miller describes himself as “[o]ne of the true “left of center” Democrats of the R.I. State Senate.”

The questioner, Dan Bidondi, has a radio show and is affilated with Alex Jones’ InfoWars.

Here’s the video:

Update: Tony at the Rhode Island-based Redneck Republic previously wrote about the expansive legislation, which included a provision allowing police to seize guns at their discretion.

    “Go Sandra Fluke Yourself!”

    lol

    Just kidding.

So, who was the second guy, the one right after the foul-mouthed dwarf? His “bodyguard” (i.e. an unemployable family member who is paid 90K to Go get t’ings foa’ da Senna-da) perhaps?

The guy that published the video needs to dial back the loud, nerve-grating, 20+ second intro to the video. I get what he’s trying to do, but being assailed by more than 4-5 seconds of that kind of noise turns people off.

totally agree… a large percentage of viewers will write him off as some tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy nut and go somewhere else before ever getting to the real content of the video

IrateNate in reply to TrooperJohnSmith. | March 25, 2014 at 8:02 pm

absolutely correct; we don’t need the intro, just let the foul-mouthed jerk’s comment demonstrate the complete lack of respect Dems have for our Constitution.

“People do have the right to own a gun. I believe in that. But I think there’s also a new type of responsibility…”

Superintendent Bob Hill told 970 WMAY that the workbook is not the only resource that provides a definition of the Second Amendment and argued that the interpretation found in the material teaches students “what happens with the right to bear arms in the context of 2014.”

this guy is personal friend of mine (and a member of my site https://www.theconservativevoices.com/ and I run the server for his site http://centralillinoisgunexchange.com/ ) and as soon as we both have time I am going to be posting stuff about this.
hes all caught up in the media interviews now but I want to get his sons input too.

Excellent. I look forward to it.

trying to get it done today but life keeps getting in the way LOL
he works and I am unemployed (disabled) so do server work on the side to help and got a project going on thats taking time.
so I may not get it done in time to get it out while its still fresh but at least it will have items about how its affecting the kid I hope.
Rich is a good guy, this caught him all by surprise.

TrooperJohnSmith in reply to Browndog. | March 25, 2014 at 2:44 pm

Change “gun” to speech, religion, reading material, medical treatment, manner of dress, vehicle, job or anything, it becomes untenable. We need to push that right back onto the Left. Hard.

Right back atcha Senator Miller.

Such intelligent, respectful exposition of Deemocrat erudition.

I love it we have Rush Limbaugh, Mark Steyn, and Jonah Goldberg to put against these pukes.

TrooperJohnSmith in reply to dmacleo. | March 25, 2014 at 11:14 pm

Tell your pal to dial back the loud, obnoxious video intro. That overshadows the good content. Nobody wants a drink from a fire hose when a simple water fountain will suffice.

Captain Keogh | March 25, 2014 at 10:45 am

Alex Jones by the way is a real nut bag.

Bidondi is the same troll who ran around after the Marathon Bombing interrupting press conferences and generally making an ass out of himself with his conspiracy theories. This looks like a John Dillinger v. Jesse James situation. That’s true without defending Miller’s gun control stance or what he said in any way.

MaggotAtBroadAndWall | March 25, 2014 at 11:11 am

That’s a tyrannical mindset. He doesn’t consider himself a peer. He’s above the questioner and so he doesn’t feel the need to have to answer to him. If you have the nerve to question him, then go fuck yourself.

Our ruling class are becoming more like the ruling class in the movie the “Hunger Games” every day. Entitled snobs, unaccountable, living in opulence at our expense, and treating us as insignificant pawns unworthy of respect whose purpose is to serve and amuse the ruling class.

Certain, I am, that they think us commoners should consider ourselves lucky that we can even get close enough to their esteemed presence to get an up close and personal “go fuck yourself” out of them….

Henry Hawkins | March 25, 2014 at 11:34 am

I could see the FU response not happening were it, I dunno, Jake Tapper or Ed Henry, actual reporters. But the InfoWars folks are pretty much worth a hearty FU just about any ol’ time. Real jerks. Ignorant and militant about it. They’re Code Pink for the woo-woo crowd.

Sanddog in reply to Henry Hawkins. | March 25, 2014 at 12:27 pm

“The second amendment shall not be infringed; you people need to understand that”

Response from lawmaker? Go F*** yourself.

You know, I don’t care how big a kook that guy with the microphone may be, that’s simply not an appropriate response.

Henry Hawkins in reply to Sanddog. | March 25, 2014 at 1:29 pm

Well, of course not. It’s just that because it’s an InfoWar guy I get neither riled nor schadenfroody. It’s like Pelosi asked Reid for info she has a right too and Reid told her FU.

A “clip”? The WWII era M1 Garand I carried in military school had a clip. My SKS with a bayonet has a clip. All my other long guns and many of my hand guns have magazines.

I am getting the SKS converted to being magazine compatible – a clip is a terrible thing to use.

MarkS in reply to AYFKM. | March 25, 2014 at 12:21 pm

So let ’em limit ‘clips’ to ten rounds and then we’ll be able to keep our thirty round ‘magazines.’

Just curious, if the situation were reversed and the reporter told Sen. Miller to “go fuck yourself” could he be charged with a crime?

Make Believe Debbie Wasserperson-Shultz commented on this incident. She said, “You must remember that if you throw your back out or strain a muscle trying to fuck yourself, President Obama and the Democrats, through the Affordable Health Care Act, have provided insurance coverage that also covers acts of self intercourse and any injuries that arise from that act.”

[…] Rhode Island State Senator Josh Miller, who proudly proclaims himself “One of the true ‘left of center’ Democrats of the R.I. State Senate,” is supporting a bunch of new laws that would prevent law-abiding people from exercising their Second Amendment rights to self-defense while doing nothing to stop crazies or criminals from committing violence against the law abiding… i.e. what the left calls “common sense gun laws.” Confronted by questions about his legislation, Senator Miller responded with the class and thoughtfulness we have come to expect from the Progressi…. […]

Senator Miller, a restaurant owner and operator, has served on numerous boards of organizations related to the hospitality industry, including the Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association; where he also served as Vice Chairman of Political Affairs from 1998-2004 and was named the 2000 Restauranteur of the Year.

I bet he gets really good tips

nordic_prince | March 25, 2014 at 6:19 pm

The “honorable” RI senator is a prick for making such an unprofessional comment. His smirk says that he thinks it’s all a joke.

Mr. Miller:

*You* are the joke. You embody what’s wrong with this country: jackass politicians (overwhelmingly, but not exclusively, from the Jackass Party) who treat the Constitution with nothing but contempt. You are a lowlife and a loser who doesn’t deserve the privilege of serving in public office.

Take your own advice, “sir.”

Captain Keogh | March 25, 2014 at 8:22 pm

Miller looks like such a dweeb and his younger equally foul mouthed buddy must be his boyfriend.

The progressive douche-baggery just drips off of both the little squirrel pol and his butch-fairy looking camera twit. Only in the Northeast would people like that ever get elected to public office. I just don’t get it about that part of the country… why do such pansy little proggie nitwits get elected to public office so often?
