Expect Elizabeth Warren on Senate Judiciary Committee

Expect Elizabeth Warren on Senate Judiciary Committee

There is a lot of talk about Elizabeth Warren being put on the Senate Banking Committee, a natural if not controversial fit for her.

But so far there’s very little talk about an additional possibility, that Warren may have a role in the hearings on confirmation of federal judges, including any Obama nominations to the Supreme Court.

But that’s what I’m being told by someone in a position to know.  Both Banking and Judiciary for Warren.

It’s not official, but highly likely if not already a done deal.

Expect Elizabeth Warren to join Al Franken on the Judiciary Committee.

I wonder what Will Rogers would have said? How about …

“Does a Drugstore Indian even know the law?”

You nailed it. Will, an authentic Cherokee, would have had a field day with this fraud. Though I’m not sure the genial Rogers would have understood the viciousness of her actual tribe and how it has infected our culture.

Yes, and I think Will Rogers would go on to say in his superb way that she would be the first senator from MA to vote yea or nay using smoke signals.

I think knowing she’s a Senator is going to give my a ulcer

For sheer gob-smacking irony, that would rank right up there with the current composition of the UN Human Rights Commission.

Well…and the “Justice Department”…

“A popular government without popular information or the means of acquiring it, is but a prologue to a farce, or a tragedy, or perhaps both.” – James Madison.

In this case, I say popular government without popular information is definitely sliding toward both farce AND tragedy.

How is it that someone who is a known and proven plagarist can be considered for this? (Let alone the whole “high cheekboned Indian” nonsense….she’s from MA…enough said)

I think I can still see the tipping point in my rearview mirror.

ho-hum.

A democratic controlled judiciary committee vetting a candidate nominated by a Democratic president is not meaningful anyway. Just more farce.

But the irony of Warren being on that committee is rich. Love the analogy above the the UN Human Rights Commission. Funny

Great. Maybe we can get Fauxahontas to wear a fake arrow through her head dressed up like an Indian and get Franken to wear a pioneer outfit, carry some racoon-skins and musket.

Then there won’t be any doubt that the Judiciary Committee is a laughingstock, instead of the nominal “high respect” that it enjoys now.

I still don’t understand why she is considered a promising new incoming member by Democrats. A woman has no great deal of political appeal, running a close race in deep blue state, she can’t express herself well, and she has all the charisma of a week old moldy slice of bread.

Granted, Harry Reid is a living proof that those things are not necessary to be in Democratic Senatorial leadership. Still, their bench can’t be *that* bad, can it?

She’s a “rising star” because she’s an ULTRA-PROGRESSIVE who unabashedly talks about taking from those who produce wealth and giving it to those who didn’t get a fair shake, whom she defines as anybody who refused to take risk, work hard, put forth their own ideas or labor, or otherwise try to better themselves.

It’s the Marxist mindset: The workers should own the factory because their labor is what makes the goods. The fact that there is ANY profit for an “owner” beyond his own share of the production is an affront, because it means that the laborers are not being compensated “fairly” fully for their efforts.

The CAN’T put her on the Senate Judiciary Committee; Al Franken already is “The Conscience of the Senate Judiciary Committee,” at least in his own mind.

Patty Murray (Dumb-Washington) is going to be on the budget committee, which is even scarier.

Sigh.

“…that Warren may have a role in the hearings on confirmation of federal judges, including any Obama nominations to the Supreme Court.”

SO, does ANYBODY think that further OBOZO appointees to the S Court (with it’s MSM-controlled chief justice) could possibly be any worse than political hack, LGBTQ&F kagan or la raza racist sotomayor?

Welcome to the new “normal.”

Welcome to the age when clowns like Al Franken and Elizabeth Warren qualify to be in the ranks of senators.

Welcome to the age when substance, truth and common sense have been tossed aside in favor of dishonesty, incompetence and corruption.

Welcome to the age of socialist America…

Their behavior is so blatantly conniving – both Franken and Warren – trying to craft a left-leaning Supreme Court. Neither are impressive examples of character. They radiate plotting and gamesmanship instead of integrity. And it does make my stomach turn.

Not a problem. Her lack of a law licence will not bar her from serving on that committee of fools and poltroons.

Recall way back when Fauxahontas first announced that she’s running for the Teddy Senate Seat, someone said that she’s being targeted for the presidency, just like her Marxist buddy now in the WH. Of course, she’ll have an even larger give-a-way program ready to roll, which is only FAIR!
