At this moment, what we need most is another star-studded pro-Obama music video

At this moment, what we need most is another star-studded pro-Obama music video

Just what the Obama campaign needed to reestablish its seriousness after as series of unserious campaign themes, like Big Bird, Binders and Bayonets.

A new music star-studded video to the theme FORWARD.

What I find most interesting is that there is a delusion to the video which cannot be overstated. These people act as if the past four years never happened.

Some of the videos from 2008 did help create buzz for Obama. But that was then, this is now. Those old videos are mock-worthy.

As will be this one:

(video h/t BuzzFeed)

Update:  Obama’s campaign has lost its mind (but I repeat myself):

Dang. The video ended before the best part … when the jobless, singing flash mob in the street raids the convenience store on the next block.

Creepy. I guess, this is the trend.

This Lullaby of the Lemmings would sound better played Backwards.

Throughout this campaign the Obama camp has produced one ad after another that seems designed not to appeal to any particular segment of voters or even any particular issue, but only to themselves.

It’s as if they really don’t understand that there are people in this country who don’t think the same way they do.

So…

we are down to Birds, Binders, Bayonets…

and Bands.

Well, and Biden…

Forward? The only thing missing here was Rudy Vallee’s megaphone.

I couldn’t get past the first 20 seconds. Oh. My. Goodness. Can this president get any more high school?

Twenty seconds is just about where I stopped, too. All sizzle and no steak. The perfect commercial for Chance the gardener.

We are the herd
We are like children
We are the ones who want others to pay
For increased spending.

I would be better if it were a silent movie.

I give it five Elizabeth Warrens impersonating Jay-Z (very negative, musically annoying)

“We leave no one behind,” except when they take refuge in a US consulate…

This president and his administration are beyond disgusting, and I have nothing but utter contempt for them.

Glad I was able to get out today and vote early to do my part to oust this traitorous, incompetent fool from the White House.

“forward”, “We’re halfway there”? Forward to what? What’s left for them to do? Where is this crowd going? First they tell women to lose their virginity to this guy, now they want mobs of people leaving work shaking their hands in their air wandering aimlessly towards some undefined destination? Sounds like Mob Action to me.

We should take a state, a state no one would miss like Massachusetts and make them go “forward” for 4 more years, and leave the rest of us alone. Let them said their virgins to their “president”, with mobs wandering the streets begging for change and we’ll wall’em em off

From Obama’s campaign: Romney in a dunce cap.
Even seeing this isn’t believing:

Has the presidential candidate of a major party, let alone an incumbent president, ever shown more contempt for the American public?

Awww. That’s so cute. But I don’t think the production values can live up to the original…..

Musician and apparent soothsayer Frank Zappa anticipated the Obama/lib media campaign from way back in the 70s:

I am gross and perverted, I’m obsessed and deranged
I have existed for years but very little has changed
I am the tool of the government and industry too
For I am destined to rule and regulate you

I may be vile and pernicious but you can’t look away
I make you think I’m delicious with the stuff that I say
I am the best you can get – have you guessed me yet?
I am the slime oozin’ out from your TV set.

You’ll obey me while I lead you
Eat the garbage that I feed you
Until the day that we don’t need you
Don’t got for help…no one will heed you

Your mind is totally controlled
It has been stuffed into my mold
And you will do as you are told
Until the rights to you are sold

That’s right, folks. Don’t touch that dial!

Well, I am the slime from your video
Oozin’ along on your living room floor

I am the slime from your video
Can’t stop the slime, people, look at me go!

[I Am The Slime, Over-Nite Sensation, 1973]

I watched the whole thing because I was curious to see what the song would say about the “disposition matrix”! Some of his followers have had second thought because of this “matrix”, but if most are like DWS, it really doesn’t even exist!

Only one really good-looking girl in the whole thing, and not a single decent rack amongst the lot of ’em…

Worst Music Video Ever!

Oh we are marching marching marching to oblivion …

Even when photo-shopped in a dunce cap, Romney seems more Presidential than Obama when exiting Airforce One.

The dunce cap image seems like a perfect opportunity to ask for Obama’s grades and standardized test scores.

Yeah, a man who graduated with a JD and an MBA at the same time from Harvard, with the highest grades in his class, is “dumb”…

Romney might be “dumb”, but the father of Tyrone Woods doesn’t lie: Obama is a “dead fish.”

“we’ve come so far and we did it all together…responsibility…civility”
what the hell are these people talking about ??? they live in a parallel universe.
i’m, at least, relieved to see that no artists that i enjoy were involved in the making of this video.
