I too wanted to photograph this irritating site, but family along wouldn’t have appreciated the disruption of our vacation to do so…:)

The O in SOLYNDRA is begging to be photoshopped into Obama’s trademark rainbow O. Presumably somebody has done so, but so far I haven’t found it.

Bill, I give you a darn hard time on other issues (Newt related) but on this, LEED is good intentions gone fascist. And that is from an engineer who suddenly has to work within it’s frameworks. LEED is not about building a better world, it is about destructing the human world.

Drove by the facility last year when I was out there. Big place. Nothing seemed to be going on. I guess sneaking all that federal cash out of the compound wasn’t didn’t require a lot of effort…

For some reason I find it interesting that that link I posted above re-directs to another web domain, businesscatalyst_dot_com? A whois search on the businesscatalyst domain indicates that Internet domain is owned by Adobe Systems Inc. Not sure whether Adobe owns the Solyndra property or is just web hosting ‘businesscatalyst’? Also on the ‘Contacts’ page at ‘businesscatalyst’ yields email links to one ‘Jones Lang LaSalle’. At the JLL website one can download the hilarious ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Report‘ that is dripping with the PC enviro-psycho babble so prevalent these days with the Kool-Aid crew. The irony here be thick. Unfortunately the joke is still on we, The Taxpayers.

ya know why there are so many fires in Detroit, the city is the largest slum lord/owner of tax reverted properties… once those properties mysteriously burn the DFD declares they are unsafe for humans to enter, so the city saves money on demolishing those properties because they no longer have to comply with asbestos and lead paint abatement regulations.
