Please do not photograph Obama’s wreck at the side of the road

Solyndra’s LEED certified 400,000+ sq ft. facility in Fremont, California, has been for sale since mid-April.

Reader Ann was driving by the building today, and just couldn’t help but snap a photo:

Update:  Thanks to commenter Liberty Jane for clarifying the image:

I too wanted to photograph this irritating site, but family along wouldn’t have appreciated the disruption of our vacation to do so…:)

I guess it ain’t easy being green! (Unless it’s taxpayers’ money!)

The O in SOLYNDRA is begging to be photoshopped into Obama’s trademark rainbow O. Presumably somebody has done so, but so far I haven’t found it.

It’s Fremont.

Bill, I give you a darn hard time on other issues (Newt related) but on this, LEED is good intentions gone fascist. And that is from an engineer who suddenly has to work within it’s frameworks. LEED is not about building a better world, it is about destructing the human world.

WTF – Vorwarts!

I wonder how long it will be before the ‘‘ Web Domain gets taken down by the obama machine?

Drove by the facility last year when I was out there. Big place. Nothing seemed to be going on. I guess sneaking all that federal cash out of the compound wasn’t didn’t require a lot of effort…

Dear marty and bains,
Thanks for the link, I snagged the download brochure, what a hoot. Destruct the human world indeed! The green agenda is to put the few remaining human beings back into mud huts. No mining, no drilling, no plowing, no smelting, no lauching, no research, no teaching, no production of electricity, no vaccinations, no innoculations, no worship, no philosophy, no reading, no writing, no juries, no elections, no dissent, no talking back. Just feelings.

Thanks again, Professor.

For some reason I find it interesting that that link I posted above re-directs to another web domain, businesscatalyst_dot_com?   A whois search on the businesscatalyst domain indicates that Internet domain is owned by Adobe Systems Inc.   Not sure whether Adobe owns the Solyndra property or is just web hosting ‘businesscatalyst’?   Also on the ‘Contacts’ page at ‘businesscatalyst’ yields email links to one ‘Jones Lang LaSalle’.   At the JLL website one can download the hilarious ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Report‘ that is dripping with the PC enviro-psycho babble so prevalent these days with the Kool-Aid crew.   The irony here be thick.   Unfortunately the joke is still on we, The Taxpayers.

Just remember, if you or I had perpetrated a similar fraud upon the Federal Government, we would be hanging out at Fort Leavenworth afraid to drop our soap in the shower.

He has to worry about getting back to 52%.

There is something seriously, seriously wrong in this country.

And we must insist that it stop immediately and that those responsible for bringing our nation to this brink of disaster be held criminally responsible for their deeds, and be prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law

My commute was regularly taking my by this monstrosity as it was going up and I could almost see the dollar bills getting blended into the mortar. Nowadays, I never fail to give it the one-finger salute as I drive past.

yes … the original Tea Party was about preferential treatment with the Tea tax, as I understand it, more than the tax itself. The current tea party needs a prosecutorial plank.

But the big D’s and R’s are still beholden to those that have hands in the corruption.

That Obama emblem in the pic’ should have some rust on it … too shiny. 🙂

With all the wrecks on Obama Highway, there will be a lot of rubbernecking on the way to the great Marxist City in the sky.

The closer we get, the more Obama Village looks like Detroit. Anyone still on that road should turn around.

ya know why there are so many fires in Detroit, the city is the largest slum lord/owner of tax reverted properties… once those properties mysteriously burn the DFD declares they are unsafe for humans to enter, so the city saves money on demolishing those properties because they no longer have to comply with asbestos and lead paint abatement regulations.

Hey! What’sa the problem? It’s only other people’s money!
mmm mmm mmm

I just had to stay up past my bedtime to fix the Solyndra photo.

Please feel free to use it, Mr. Jacobson. 🙂
