It has come to our attention that local news/traffic radio sponsorships have been aired during political radio talk shows in clear violation of our media buying guidelines. As always, H&R Block does not advertise on political talk shows – no matter who the host – and we’re working to rectify these errors and remove the spots immediately.

“I’m going to do the Saturday Night Card Game about this

BTW, The “Guy” referred to is The Eagles Glenn Frey. Talk about “Take It to The Limit”..

Romney’s angle is that nobody wants free stuff. Right?

Can someone remind me whether we know Romney’s SAT score, and if so, what was it? Geesh.

Vanderbilt: “Christianity is not inclusive enough so therefore we will kick your butt out of here (no discrimination intended).”

A Gannett Wisconsin Media watchdog journalism report in Sunday’s Northwestern found at least 29 circuit court judges in Wisconsin signed recall petitions against Republican Gov. Scott Walker. Although they may have not violated the letter of Wisconsin’s code of judicial conduct, the judges certainly violated its spirit.

If you have heard the John Courson re-election ads, you know what I mean when I say “Hyuh, in Sout’ Cahlonna” we have a problem…..Dick Harpootlian kills any hope of bipartisanship!

1. If you want free stuff, vote for Obama.

facepalm Romney got into Harvard’s ultra-ultraselective dual JD/MBA program.

2. Now let’s look at a guy who needed an athletic scholarship to go to the Midwest’s small Eureka College. On the critical occasion when he was expected to make a fool of himself ranting about Commies and fluoridated water, he asked Americans:

Are you better off than you were four years ago?

3. Something is very very wrong with our elites. Are they good for anything but networking with each other to sell the rest of us down the river at a munificent commission?

Excellent question, gs. I think the Elite Establishment has revealed itself as never before in its clownish insistence that Romney is fit to be president.

We can have a better future than this paltry, sickening, dishonest re-hash of failure, excuses and decay. I also read that that Romney said something to the effect that Obama’s not responsible for gasoline prices because after all, a president can’t just set gasoline prices. He’s as baffled as Obama. And as dishonest.

No thanks, I want lower gas prices.

And gs, thanks for reminding me of Reagan. Ronald Reagan stayed true.

Do you remember the story that when Reagan was elected, the Kremlin was trying to figure our how to roll him, and some expert was called in. The intelligence expert said he didn’t think they could. he said that with Reagan, words and deeds were the same thing.

You need tp change the question, from “Do you want free stuff?” to “Do you want to be someone’s meal ticket?”. Don’t focus on what they are getting, focus on what they are being asked to give up. The campaign against Affirmative action in 94 was precisely this, it talked to specific groups that are aggrieved instead of to groups that benefit. These kinds of transfer programs always harm more than they help by their very nature, so its useful to aggravate the aggrevied group than appeal to the group with ill gotten gains.

For socialized medicine, its the same. Do you really want your right to see a doctor decided by a politician? even ardent liberal hipsters say no. Focus on the constraints, the dems focus on the access. Seriously I have won every argument on every socialist scheme by just focusing in on that, because everyone knows, everyone experiences in their life the unfairness of political systems, and no one wants to have their entire fate controlled by them. Its the reality that they know is true, and they know why these schemes don’t work. You just have to ask them the right questions.

The Tom Hanks fiasco took place in Pacific Palisades, next door to us in Santa Monica. Pacific Palisades was Ronald Reagan’s home for years. I’ll bet you he never once attended a party like that.

Somebody should dub Hanks’ Obama mockumentary narration over that Pacific Palisades party film.

Will Antonin … you are the man !!

Wow. Tom Hanks has now officially used up all my goodwill toward him from “APOLLO 13”.

Just. what?

Is it “herein” or “therein” lies the problem?

Professor, I think it depends on whether it’s here or there.

“Is it herein and therein lies the problem?’

Actually, until November that’s neither here nor there.

Shoot, Prof. We’re surrounded….

Over at thegatewaypundit.com Jim Hoft posted on Romney’s brilliant “smooth” come-back. I don’t see why it is considered a good reply in any way!

Who tells someone to NOT vote for you?! Who lets a prime piece of low-hanging fruit go so easily?

Zinger?! “Smooth?!” Definitely. Not.

How about: “Nothing is free!”

Or, “The federal ‘happiness guru’ can’t afford it — ‘free’ means we ALL pay for YOU!”

Or, “That’s why we are in $15 TRILLION debt – Obama’s maxed out the credit card!”

*sigh*

Santorum says to Laura Ingraham, “I’m not gonna bite on that one” Meaning? I have already made a fool of myself trying to sound rational and if Newt thinks he can speak extemporaneously then fine, because, parapharasing, ‘I’m not gonna make a fool of myself again like I did last time’.
