PDS found Palin, Palin didn’t find PDS

PDS found Palin, Palin didn’t find PDS

From Crawdad Hole written by frequent commenter myiq2xu:

I guess the people like Andy Sullivan and his ilk are gonna be unhappy, because Sarah apparently has no intention of going away.  I have to wonder what would have happened if they had just left her alone when she first went back to Alaska after the 2008 elections

I think there’s a lot of truth there.  Palin frequently is depicted as someone who sought out the spotlight and was a publicity hound, but the reality is that circumstances found her, not the other way around.

What if Palin had been allowed to function as Governor without the relentless attacks from the likes of Andrew Sullivan, various anti-Palin bloggers, the media, establishment Republicans, and frequent-filers of frivolous ethics complaints?

Attacking Palin became an industry, and when she fought back she was blamed.  The derangement started the day she was designated by John McCain as the VP nominee, and it continues to this day from small people like David Frum.

Palin  didn’t bring it on herself, but having found herself in the cross-hairs, she fought back.  Good on her.

Order The Undefeated, after watching it you’ll realize just how tragic and shameful it is that American citizens were so easily duped into believing the manufacture assault against Palin. She governed with an ethical, clean heart bursting with integrity. She accomplished in two years than what the Eunuchs refused to accomplished in thirty years.

Sometimes I think the multitude of Americans are deserving of Obama leadership; these Americans blasting their “quitter” crap are the reason why I am inspired to stand on the sidelines and watch Obama eat them as if they were his tasty cake.

Yeah, they switched to Herman Cain now. If this is what they do with him a year out, I can’t wait to see what they do in 2012.

And, hey. Crap on police cars all you want. Chant all you want. Claim you got no goals all you want. Spray paint police cars all you want. Quit as soon as the weather gets cold and then start up in the Spring again. Complain about your student loans all you want. Try breaking into museums all you want. That new plane exhibition is a real draw, ain’t it?

That’s the plan, right?

Just try it and see how the American independent voter who tries to go to work every day and put food on the table for his/her kids treats you for doing that.

He/she will really admire you for your scurrilous behavior.

Edit to add, live now 12pmET.

One of the primary reasons these people wrote about Palin was the guaranteed hits their site would get and the onslaught of unhinged hatred in the comments. In truth, they do not want her to go away. They love hating.

I’m amazed that people still whine about her resigning the governorship. At some point these people have to let that go even if they refuse to understand her reasons for that action. But no one seems to mind the politicians who spend the majority of their time campaigning rather than actually doing the job they got elected for.

She had the courage to resist their onslaught. It’s unfortunate that she has chosen not to lead this nation. She is right in principle and was right in action.

The message has been sent, loud and clear, to all women with Leadership qualities like Sarah Palin who want to really make a difference in this nation (Christian, Jewish, or anything else):

“Nice family you’ve got there, Ma’am. It’d be such a shame if anything bad ever happened to them…”

….and it is because she fights back that many of us support and defend her AND we try to do our best to have her back…I AM SARAH!!

I AM SARAH! and I AM THE EARTHQUAKE http://www.facebook.com/groups/230863800300999/ – I too watched The Undefeated last night, and I am more convinced than ever of the tragedy that we will be deprived of her leadership.

Even more so watching the despicable and cynical use of our young people at #OccupyWallStreet, What degradation our country has succumbed to.

“Palin didn’t bring it on herself, but having found herself in the cross-hairs, she fought back.” Interesting: It’s a classic illustration of Jeff Cooper’s American that demonstrates a flaw in Alinsky tactics.

Col. Cooper notes the almost uniquely American characteristic of leaving well enough alone until provoked with hostility – which is then met with clear, appropriate force.

If those jerks in Alaska hadn’t ried to pull an Alinsky on her, the story would be different. Alinsky “freeze polarize destroy” should have worked. The frivolous law suits and complaints should have destroyed her political career and ambitions – and they would have, normally, as applied to the sort of people Alinsky understood.

Rather Jeff Cooper’s American arose, resilient and stronger than before. Perhaps she will have a profound role in the next Administration.

To all the Palin bashers on the right. You act as though you don’t want us to help you in 2012. You don’t want me to:

Canvass your districts
GOTV efforts
Fundraise
Phone bank volunteer
Set up signs
Take part in rallies

Okay smart guys. I’ll make sure to pass this along to my local Tea Party friends and fellow Palin supporters. Don’t come calling….you abviously can handle things on your own.

It would be interesting to see what happens in the RNC convention. Will they invite her to attend? Will they allow her to speak?

I wasn’t aware that she’d been run out of the party, or even prevented from running. She decided not to be a candidate, not anybody else. If you’re angry that she didn’t run, there’s only one person you need to be angry at.

Have any republican candidates, presidential or congressional, gone after her? Why be pissed at them?

Palin’s position and fundamental core beliefs aside, her willingness to fight is the single most important trait the Republican candidate must have if civility, honesty, and integrity are to be returned to our government: not just the presidency, the government. It is one quality that appears lacking among the Republican candidates most likely to be nominated. Presently, the candidate who displays most both the core beliefs and the willingness and ability to fight back is Herman Cain. It can be a clean fight, but it will be a hard fight; wishy-washy will be a loser regardless of positions.

Palin fights. That’s why the RNC can’t stand her.

Try and tell me that Mitt Romney is the same. Go on. I’m waiting.

Yeah. That’s what I thought.
