President Donald Trump granted Attorney General William Barr permission to declassify the documents related to surveillance on his 2016 presidential campaign. From Fox News:
Trump also ordered the intelligence community to cooperate with Barr. The memo read: "The heads of elements of the intelligence community... and the heads of each department or agency that includes an element of the intelligence community shall promptly provide such assistance and information as the Attorney General may request in connection with that review."

Attorney William Barr gave Fox News an interview while in El Salvador about the Department of Justice's (DOJ) investigation into the origins of the probe into possible collusion between Russia and now-President Donald Trump's campaign in 2016. Barr defended his decision to investigate the origins because he found the answers people gave him inadequate.

Former Deputy Attorney Rod Rosenstein and former FBI Director James Comey have ventured into a public spat over President Donald Trump and Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian collusion. Comey wrote earlier this month that Rosenstein did not have the strength to "resist the compromises necessary to survive Mr. Trump." Rosenstein lashed out at Comey for becoming a "partisan pundit" and showed disgust that the former director would speculate "about the strength of my character and the fate of my immortal soul."

The Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee released pages of transcripts from their interview with ex-FBI attorney Lisa Page, which included admissions of the FBI beginning their Russian investigation with little evidence and an insurance policy in case now-President Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. Page also confirmed the DOJ told the FBI not to charge Hillary in the email investigation.

In a sweeping sting dubbed "Operation Varsity Blues," the FBI and federal authorities in Boston have charged 50 people in what has become the largest college admissions cheating scandal in history. Parents, including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, allegedly paid millions in bribes, to secure college admission for their children. Payments were not made directly to schools, but to coaches and other figures.

On Thursday the IG published a bombshell report regarding the now-infamous anti-Trump sentiment shared between two key members of the FBI and of the Mueller investigation team, Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page. The IG report reveals not only that both Strzok's and Page's iPhones were wiped clean and restored to factory settings by a member of Mueller's team but that Strzok's iPhone was then reissued to another agent for use.

A sentencing memo released Tuesday night has thrown a kink in the investigation of Trump's former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. In the memo issued by Flynn's attorneys are allegations that the FBI intentionally lied to Flynn about the necessity of having representation during their initial interview as well as an alleged effort to intentionally omit the consequences of lying to FBI agents during what was allegedly made out to be a casual conversation.

The FBI handed over its report on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the Senate Judiciary Committee. A source familiar with the report said that "it shows no evidence corroborating the allegations of sexual assault or misconduct against the nominee." The FBI also interviewed nine people and received a sworn statement from another.

Someone leaked Christine Blasey Ford's letter to Dianne Feinstein to the media, setting off the current firestorm surrounding Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation. Kavanaugh has denied the accusation of assault set forth in the letter, and vigorously defended himself at the hearings. Each of the people Ford has identified as being present during the party in question has denied being at such party.

Monday, the White House announced Trump's order for "immediate declassification" of the FISA application in the matter of Carter Page, a former Trump campaign advisor, which includes 20 pages of documents. Additionally, and the best part, Trump ordered public release "without redaction" of texts messages pertaining to the Russia investigation from James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.

Buried amid all the anti-Trump "Russia, Russia, Russia" derangement are a couple of potentially explosive revelations. Lisa Page, former FBI lawyer and mistress of former FBI agent Peter Strzok, admitted that the FBI couldn't prove collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia at the time Robert Mueller took over the investigation, and Bob Woodward admits that after searching "hard" for two years, he found no evidence of collusion, either.

Fox News has obtained new text messages between former FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page, a former FBI lawyer, that show others within the government leaked information to the media before the Russia probe. From Fox News:
A lengthy exchange dated Dec. 15, 2016 appears to reveal a potential leak operation for “political” purposes. “Oh, remind me to tell you tomorrow about the times doing a story about the rnc hacks,” Page texted Strzok.
