Legal Insurrection readers will recall that President Donald Trump's EPA has slammed San Francisco, which includes the 12th District of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, with potential environmental violations over its handling of sewage and wastewater. However, instead of cleaning up the mess in her district, Pelosi is heading off to Spain for a climate change junket.

San Francisco 49ers star Richard Sherman is known for lending a helping hand to those in need. He has done it again.  Sherman gave $7,491.27 to Cabrillo Middle School in Santa Clara, CA, and $20,000 to the Tacoma Public Schools in Tacoma, WA, to pay off school lunch debts. He also used to play for the Seattle Seahawks.

Hefty marijuana taxes that can approach 50 percent in some communities have been blamed for pushing shoppers into California’s tax-free illegal market, which is thriving. Industry analysts estimate that $3 are spent in the illegal market for every $1 in the legal one.

The California Supreme Court has just struck down a state law that required President Trump to release his tax returns in order to appear on the state’s primary ballot.
Justices in Sacramento said that the law – which required all candidates for president and governor to submit five years’ worth of personal income tax returns in order to be included on primary ballots – was unconstitutional.
