2020 presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who is Jewish, received the endorsement of anti-Israel Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) over the weekend. Then on Monday Sanders announced his own "quid pro quo" to Israel. He even said he would use American aid to Israel as "leverage" to force the country to "change their behavior."

The Czech parliament passed a resolution last Tuesday condemning the Israel boycott movement as antisemitic. The non-binding resolution calling on the government to stop funding to groups promoting the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against the Jewish State, was adopted with overwhelming support from the deputies in the country's Lower House, receiving 120 votes in favor and 20 against.

Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs has released a report exposing the antisemitic agenda being the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement (BDS). The anti-Israel boycott campaign now direct "classic antisemitic tropes and motifs once directed at “the Jew” at “the Jew among the nations,” the State of Israel," the reported said. Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Erdan released the report titled Behind The Mask: The Anti-Semitic Nature of BDS Exposed at the European Parliament building in Brussels. The minister urged the European Union and Western governments to stop funding organizations promoting the antisemitic BDS movement.

On Monday, the Women's March voted off its board Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory, and Bob Bland due to the anti-Semitism controversies surrounding them. The organization announced 16 new members to the board. I noted in my Monday blog that Zahra Billoo could cause problems for them due to her past statements on Israel, the FBI, and the IDF. She once called herself "a proud anti-Zionist." I was correct. Billoo tweeted early this morning the Women's March booted her off its board.

According to The Washington Post, the Women's Match has decided to let loose three members due to their anti-Semitism, which has brought down the movement. Bob Bland, Tamika Mallory, and Linda Sarsour have a long history of anti-Semitism and associating themselves with anti-Semitics. But one new board member may cause the same headaches for The Women's March.

Every now and then Bill Maher hits a left-wing dogma squarely on the head and it's particularly persuasive coming from someone who is on the left. We've covered several such occasions, even if most of the time we disagree with Maher. Maher just did it again with regard to the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, setting off a fury of recrimination from Rep. Rashida Tlaib and other anti-Israel activists.

Anti-Israel representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, both of whom support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement (though they denied that while running for office), are planning a trip to Israel. BDS is widely recognized as anti-Semitic and subterfuge for the destruction of Israel. Both also credibly have been accused of making anti-Semitic statements themselves.

On April 16, 2018, the Durham North Carolina City Council passed the “Israel Resolution” making Durham the first city in the United States to boycott police training specifically with Israel. This took place even though Durham conducted no police training with Israel, and had no plans to do so. It was purely an anti-Israel symbolic act designed to demonize Israel, as part of a broader racist, anti-Semitic campaign under the banner of "Deadly Exchange" to falsely blame Israel for policing problems, including shootings, in minority communities in the United States.

Dr. Einat Wilf writes and lecture extensively on Zionism and anti-Semitism. A point we've made here repeatedly, particularly as to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, is that while in theory there is a difference between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism, in the real world they are almost always the same.

GOP operative Arthur Schwartz discovered old anti-Semitic tweets from relatively new CNN photo editor Mohammed Elshamy. He celebrated the killing of "4 jewish [sic] pigs" in a terrorist attack in 2011 and cheered on Hamas. Elshamy resigned late Thursday night. CNN and the left cannot complain about this happening because last week the network dug through Monica Crowley's old tweets and blog posts after President Donald Trump appointed her as assistant treasury secretary for public affairs.

Imagine investing $200,000 into a restaurant, but then turn around and indefinitely delay its opening because people threatened to boycott your business and bullied your family members. That's the decision BurgerIM franchisee Sam Zahr had to make for the safety of his family and employees. He also didn't want to divide the Dearborn, Michigan, community.

Over the past several weeks, the Legal Insurrection Foundation has investigated the coalition of anti-Israel groups that organized protests and disruptions at the annual Christians United for Israel (CUFI) summit July 7-9, 2019 Calling their campaign "Rise against Racism", Counter CUFI followed the traditional modus operandi of intersectional anti-Israel groups, seeking to build an anti-Israel coalition along racial and religious identity lines, portraying Israel as a white supremacist colonialist oppressive enterprise, and lauding themselves as the underdog heroes speaking truth to power.
