Last year, I reported that the tech giant Oracle moved its important annual conference from San Francisco to Las Vegas, citing dirty streets and high hotel costs. So the cash-strapped city will hire supervisors to be in classes and at the school with the students. This is because the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) refuses to get back to work.
